Vacation rentals with a firepit in Bandera County

Me and my family stayed the weekend. Lindsey s was very helpful and willing to answer all questions. The home was absolutely beautiful, the scenery was beautiful! The home included everything you would possibly need on the trip. It’s walking distance from the river but given its low, it was very pretty nonetheless. ☺️

Lois’ home was just as described and perfect for what we needed. She was helpful, gave us great recommendations, and communicated well. We would definitely stay again!

What a great place to stay. When we arrived it was already after dark and there were deer bedded in the yard which was really cool to see. The house was clean and the updates to it were a perfect fit. Our outing was actually taking us to Kerrville, but this home in Bandera was only a beautiful 30 minute ride away. The hot tub was great although the weather was not completely cooperative so our enjoyment of it was limited. Aside from that the value of the rental was incredible in my opinion. I think my favorite thing was that in each of the bathrooms, there were either heat lamps or heat fans in the ceiling above, so when you got out of the shower you weren't freezing. The split thermostat was a bonus also. I would 100% stay here again if I am back in the area. The hosts were excellent at responding timely and more than accommodating, even after we forgot an item after checking out, they were kind enough to open the property for us to retrieve it. Top notch listing and hosts.

Cathy and her husband were so kind and warm. We loved the quirkiness of the cottage which dripped with country/antique charm. The river behind the house was SO beautiful, especially with all the beautiful fall foliage and peaceful sound of the water flowing by. I so enjoyed my morning coffee and evening wine on the back patio, so peaceful and quiet. Our children enjoyed fishing all day, they caught lots of fish. My husband did some fly fishing too. It has to be the prettiest part of the Medina river. Playing soccer in the front yard, and riding their bikes down the long driveway were other things the kids enjoyed. The bathroom in the main house had a slight unpleasant odor, but not a deal breaker for us. We preferred to shower in the Annex. We LOVED the restaurant “The Forge” and thoroughly enjoyed our time in Bandera at Cathy’s place.

The definition of enchanted; says it's a place under a magic spell or having some kind of magical quality, this is what we found at the Enchanted Retreat B & B in Bandera, Texas. Tucked away in a private gated area in the hill country you will find a comfy and cozy treasure. What a wonderful experience! Booking was a breeze. I contacted the Pinnell's to put in a request for the dates. Bruce was back to me within 24 hours. We exchanged some information and we were quickly approved. Check-in was extremely easy. The Pinnell's paid great attention to details. In closing, Bruce asked me why the Enchanted Retreat? and now I'll have to say the hill country, the wildlife, the attention to detail. The perfect home away. I was blown away by the beautiful decor and the thoughtful amenities. Every detail was perfect. Our large family had a fantastic time. The house was perfect for kids and had a wonderful backyard. Bruce and Sharon were exceptional hosts. We can't wait to go back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Sonia's. The place was really cozy inside. We grilled one day. The river was shallow but beautiful. My daughter's put their feet in. Definitely booking again. ♥️

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. For her 21st birthday, my daughter wanted to go horseback riding in Bandera. We stayed at Celia's for our time in Bandera. She went above and beyond with decorating her home with Happy Birthday decorations, a huge balloon, even got my daughter a delicious birthday cake! Celia is the host other hosts should strive to be. Amazing stay in a very welcoming home, quiet location. Her home is very comfortable and spotless. Loved our stay here!

Bandera - what an adventure! The cabin was cosy, clean, walkable to the town within 15 minutes and full of character! During our stay, we unfortunately had a flat tyre and Stacey’s hospitality was unbelievable - from helping us try to fix the flat and providing support and snacks, to giving us a lift to the garage when all else failed, she went above and beyond and we can’t thank her enough! An amazing place to stay with lovely people and fun activities all around; 5 ⭐️

Carol’s place was perfect for a stay at Tapatio Springs Golf Resort. Carol was a GREAT host and was extremely accommodating to us. We will definitely be back!

Condo was as described and very clean. Enjoyed our stay.

Pretty nice little cabin. Enough space for a few people with a little fridge and coffee for the morning.

This is the perfect place to get away. Wake up yo a TON of wildlife roaming the property and sit back to relax. We will come back here as this was a perfect way to wind down.

This adorable little Hill country cabin is amazing with its unique river views and peaceful surroundings, you’re sure to forget all your troubles for a few days. The cabin has everything you need for a perfect getaway plus a bathtub, so bring your bath bubbles, too🫧 The screened in porch is a great spot for watching the wildlife while drinking your morning coffee. If you’re looking for a cozy country getaway, this is your place!

We booked this place for my boyfriends birthday and it was everything we needed. The views alone were what made the entire stay. We relaxed, disconnected, and enjoyed literally just the peacefulness of the place. It was just enough for what we needed, close enough to go check out the cute towns nearby. Bring a small heater if you get cold easily and easy food/snacks. We even booked an extra night because we didn’t want to leave. The hosts were great and even went as far as making a birthday basket for when we arrived. Highly recommend ❤️

My friends and I had an amazing stay at this cabin, and I can't recommend it enough for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in nature. A highlight of our trip was definitely the hot tub, it was the perfect way to unwind and enjoy the serene surroundings.

Julie's cabin was so quaint , comfortable as well as historic built in the the 1850s...I look forward to my next visit with her...Thx Julie

This humble cabin was everything we needed for a weekend getaway in the hill country. We enjoyed star gazing, having a little fire, and unplugging. Plus it was close to Garner & Lost Maples, which are great for hiking. I’d definitely be back again!

We had a lovely stay with our dogs who adored the river! The weather wasn't amazing, but we were able to enjoy the cabin, the river, the firepit and the town of Bandera. The cabin was as described, very cozy and comfortable. The hosts were wonderful, great communicators and super helpful.
