Dree Cottage with Hot Tub & Stove

ElnaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We recently stayed at this incredible place and can’t believe I didn’t find it sooner! With breathtaking views of the Mourne Mountains and the tranquility of the countryside, it was the perfect escape. The house is fully equipped and feels like a home away from home. The hot tub was the cherry on top, offering a relaxing soak with stunning scenery. Brendan, the host, is very responsive and truly values his guests, making the experience even better. The pictures don’t do this place justice—it’s even more beautiful in person! We left rejuvenated and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

Tosses Cottage | Cosy, Quirky & Secluded + Hot Tub

LorraineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We absolutely loved our stay at Tosses Cottage. The location is beautiful and quaint, perfect for a peaceful retreat. The cottage is cosy and has so much character, we felt right at home. The hot tub is an added bonus, it's private and perfect for relaxation. We enjoy hiking and the cottage was nice and central for many hikes and trails in the area. A special mention to the quality of the bed sheets. They were so beautiful and soft, they felt very luxurious. I even took a picture of the label I liked them so much.. 🤣 Massive thank you to Colleen, excellent host. We would 100% recommend staying. We would love to stay again.

Luxury countryside cottage with hot tub

LaurenRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We stayed here for our anniversary and there were many options to pick from but we are so glad we chose here! The cottage itself was so cute and 10/10 for decoration. Everything was really clean and it has everything you could possibly need. A really nice touch is the board games supplied! The reason we chose here was the wood fired hot tub and it was honestly our favourite bit, we spent hours in there! The only slight downside is that you do have to wait a good few hours for it to heat up, it was only 5 degrees outside so it took 3.5-4 hours for us but it was definitely worth it and then it stays warm for the duration of the stay and only needs a slight heat up the next day. Conor and Sophie are also on hand for any query’s and really friendly and responsive. Overall a 10/10 stay!

The Gate House Ardkeen,

SheenaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Overall, Chris went above and beyond for us. From the moment I booked until the minute we left he was very responsive and helpful. Our stay was everything we wanted, relaxing and peaceful and the hot tub is the perfect bonus! We took a trip to Belfast and thanks to Chris’ recommendation we drove the scenic Irish Sea route which was breathtaking. The nearby town of Kircubbin had anything we needed to pick up on our way home. The only downfall of this getaway was the last bit of the journey. The road down is quite bumpy. But we made sure that once we were back we were in for the night. Overall I would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a nice getaway!

Bobby’s Cottage, Carlingford Lough, Omeath

Great place for our short break. Myself and my partner had our 2 dogs with us and was perfect. Nice pub down in the village that let the dogs in for a few drinks. Nice open fire and very friendly locals. Nice hotel for food but dogs not allowed but staff were very nice about it and full understandable. The house is very peaceful with very little traffic. House has a nice open fire which was very nice on a cold wet night.

Rural off grid staycation hideaway

JamieRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Lovely place, nicely designed with underfloor heating and a log burner. Claire was responsive and quickly replaced the batteries in the thermostats for us when they died so there was zero impact on the temperature 👌 Bed is MASSIVE and very nice. En-suite bathroom is lovely although be careful on the toilet as it’s next to the radiator 🔥 The setting was awesome. Waking up to sunrise in the hills with a cup of tea was lush. Horses would hang out in the field next door. It was absolutely silent and serene. It’s also quite easy to access from the nearby town, which has a fantastic shop combining their own products with some from Co-op and some from Morrisons! Plus if you CBA to cook they have homemade ready meals, like a little tub of pasta bolognese you could warm up. While you’re visiting NI I recommend getting some Barry’s tea 🤌 it’s awesome and especially with that split back door open at the top watching the 🌅🐴 it’s beautiful.
