casita namaste

CindyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This is a sweet little casita with everything you need! Location, location, location! Tessa is a great host and very friendly and helpful. This property was perfect for us we travel with 2 golden retrievers the yard is wonderful and just steps away from the beach. We were up early every morning to enjoy sunrise in this beautiful place. There are good restaurants very near that we could walk to also. We will be back! Thank you Tessa!

OCEAN SPIRITS(Moon bungalow)

GinaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Super cool, modern-rustic, eco designed bungalow. The neighborhood is peaceful and super convenient for the public beach and road way turnaround(time saver with car). There are restaurants and food shacks down the hill. I got a coco nut water most days from a food truck. The property itself is delightfully designed just right for the sun, moon and breezes throughout the day. You can wake up & do yoga or sip coffee on the patio looking out at the ocean. The place was super clean. Susana was helpful and always quick to reply. It was the perfect balance of not being in a resort(too people-y) and not being in the middle of nowhere(convenient don’t need 4x4 ). Safe area, smartly designed casitas. Loved my stay. I booked the moon as someone mentioned it has more privacy. The garden design makes both equally private. The linens were high quality cotton and felt amazing after a day in the sun; very comfortable bed. The shower had plenty of hot water & great pressure. 10 stars! Hope to return!

Casa Caballos, 1 bedroom, on Rancho Danza del Sol

PhilipRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This place, Casa Caballos was perfect for us two. Beautiful, simple, unassuming, quiet. Ah, the mango trees and majestic Palms! With all of the restaurants in the town and region we did not cook in Casa Caballos' outdoor kitchen, beyond morning coffee, tortillas, mangos and avocados. We enjoyed the chilly clear water in the pool, made use of the communal wi-fi hotspot and took daily walks the 15-ish minutes to the beach for sunsets. Having a rental car was required, as Todos Santos is a spread out town. The bed is huge and firm. The bath is lovely with limitless hot and cold water and a fine shower. We watched the March lunar eclipse from the rooftop patio. Dirk' communication with us was excellent, both well before our trip and during our stay. Detailed initial directions were needed to find the place. They were effective. He was responsive to all of our questions, providing experienced opinion on a wide array of issues. We recommend this rural treasure without reservation.

Sea of Cortez Beach House, Perfect Getaway

AmieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
What a fun experience to get to stay in Brett’s sweet little house on the low cliff overlooking the sea. If you go, you might spend your whole night by just candlelight, listening to the wind and the waves outside. Remember to open the shade in the bedroom so you can watch the sky and the water turn their various shades of periwinkle and pink at dawn while you wake up. Then drink your coffee as you watch the sun rise over the sea. Don't worry if it takes a little while for someone to come after you honk your horn at the chain gate. You might wonder: what is this place I’ve come to with a row of old cars leading up to a castle with led Christmas lights? A little brindle dog will bark at you, but you’ll discover that she is a sweetheart, as is the man, who finally arrives— a little flustered and all full of warmth and welcome— to let you in and usher you toward the house. That is part of the fun, that’s part of the experience. I thoroughly enjoyed all of it, thank you!

StarGazer Hideaway

CarmenRating, 5 stars4 days ago
I would highly recommend renting this place. This place was awesome, so quiet and tranquil we loved it. My grandsons and I enjoyed the quietness and the star gazing at night. My grandsons set off roaming the property and having a great time outside. Went hiking and to the Copper Queen Mine tour. Ate breakfast in Lowell. Everything was just as expected by the description and pictures. Shane was very quick to respond to my messages. There was a place for each of us 3 to sleep. The washer and dryer were a BIG PLUS for me, especially having the 2 boys. This was their spring break trip, and we were able to see my son also while there. There was a Safeway, family dollar and dollar tree only 5 miles away, this was very convenient. There was only 1 drawback, the Futon was not comfortable to sit or sleep on, since there was hardly any padding. I had to go buy camping pads to lay on there to keep from feeling the bars when you sat or slept. I would rent this place again and from Shane.

A Charming Home:La Trailita

LarissaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We absolutely loved our stay at La Trailita! Erika was an amazing host, we had an issue with our truck on the main highway before the road to Bahia, which delayed our arrival until late evening. She was responsive and went above and beyond to try to help us in this unfortunate situation. When we arrived, we were delighted by two beers in the fridge and cupcakes with a candle because I was there celebrating my birthday. She left sweet and uplifting notes that really brightened an intense day of travel. The Trailita was just as adorable as the pictures, clean, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The only thing the pictures can’t do justice is how incredible the sunset views are from the patio. We loved how peaceful and private the property was, just don’t make the mistake we did and leave your dogs food outside, because there must be some furry, four legged thieves in the area hehe. Looking forward to our next stay here!

Cabaña Taly, an experience with nature.

AlexRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
What a magical spot! We absolutely loved staying at Cabana Taly. It is even more beautiful in person than the photos. The garden is incredible and the kitchen set up, with its multiple grilling areas and pre-chilled refrigerator, is wonderful. The host has thought of everything. It was so special to spend the night in such a lovely setting in one of Baja’s most magical towns. We loved it so much we’re already talking about how to return and spend more time at Cabana Taly! By the way, if you’re planning a trip and aren’t sure: San Javier is an easy and stunning drive from Loreto. Takes about an hour not including the many photo stops you’ll want to make. From San Javier, you can take a more adventurous (unpaved) but totally doable drive down towards the Pacific. From there it’s an easy paved road to San Jose de Comondu, which also has a beautiful place to stay: the Hacienda Don Mario. From there, visit La Purisima and San Juanico…

Beautiful home in a private and lovely location! The design details indoors and outdoors were perfect, as were the amentities provided for cooking and visiting the beach.
