Farmstay vacation rentals in Baix Empordà

Staying at this place was just what we needed for a great year-end retreat! The house was very accommodating, well serviced of kitchen appliances & utensils, bedroom and bathroom linen and a cozy vibe. The sunrise-facing bed was the highlight of our mornings, followed by amazing breakfast views, good hiking trails and capped with a cozy fireplace-lit evening. Yolande was always very responsive and proactive in her communication, which helped us properly program our stay, find the place and have the greatest experience! We definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for peace and quiet.

The house is beautiful as shown in the pictures. We didn't get tired of repeating because we felt right at home. The decor, cleanliness and details are unbeatable.

It was just what we wanted, a dream come true, pure tranquility and beautiful views. Everything was impeccable, just as Jaume and Ona describe it, we had everything in the house, I'm sorry if I repeat but it was a beautiful experience to be able to stay here, not only because they treated us very well but because the place is unbeatable. Best place ever. Surrounded by the most magnificent hillscape, this home is cozy, comfortable and filled with any amenity you could ask for. Not to mention Jani - a responsive and friendly host who clearly wants only the best for her guests, answering any questions you may have in the nick of time. Canyelles has more than enough to entertain you day-by-day, but there is also a bus that runs regularly enough into Roses if, like us, you want a fix of go-karting or mini-golf! Would recommend 100% (along with a car rental: don't underestimate the steepness of that cliff like we did! 😅)

We had a great time at Montse's house! We were a glue with many critters and the fact of having so many rooms went very well pq each family could have their space. The house offered many options, we felt very free and at ease! Montse was very friendly and was flexible whenever she could! Thank you!

A beautiful winter stay in Banyuls in this charming house, we enjoyed its location and the feeling of feeling at home. Guillaume and the person in charge of the house have always given us the right information and were very responsive to our requests. We'll be happy to go back.

The place was really gorgeous! It was all as described, the hosts were super nice and always took time to help us. The area is also really great, especially for people who like to walk, cycle or motorcycle. Also the sea is only half an hour by car. Also because of the dogs you don't have to worry at all, they are super sweet and very quiet, come by at most to be petted. Overall a really perfect stay, we will definitely be back :)

A very comfortable and welcoming little house for families. It is nestled in a quiet setting and surrounded by nature. You are just 10 minutes from different villages where to find what you need.

Fantastic location to disconnect and enjoy nature! The house is fantastic, with everything you need to not go out, the pool, Ping pong table and barbecue incredible! Lastly, Marga is super friendly and quick to respond to all your questions. We will definitely be back!

Unsurprisingly description, it's a little slice of heaven, I jaccuzi is really an undeniable plus. it's the countryside, a haven of peace where it's good to relax while having the amenities a few kilometers away. i recommend it. kind regards. ll

Clara and Gerard are super hosts! Communication (with a few “detours”) went smoothly in English. We accidentally damaged something in the house during our stay, but were able to clarify this quickly and easily (of course we came up for the damage). The two gave us some very good tips for shopping and excursions. The house is a little off the beaten path in the middle of the Vorpyrena, but is easily accessible by car (paved road). Of course, you can drive to the nearest larger village for a while. The garden is large and fenced all around - ideal with dog. The little flock of sheep right next door is, of course, an experience. Everything in the house was clean. The region around the Alta Garrotxa is scenically beautiful and highly recommended for hikers. Hiking trails are very well marked and can be accessed even without climbing equipment, despite the local Kraxelei. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back!

What an incredible experience to get to stay two nights at Laura’s place! The property and buildings are beautiful - we loved the history as well as being in the countryside and getting to walk around the property and meet all of her animals. Every detail of the apartment is thoughtful and the breakfast was amazing! (Highly recommend if you are staying the night to include the breakfast). Laura was also incredibly generous with her time and efforts in helping up problem solve issues with our rental car. This felt more like a wonderful farm stay at someone’s home, than a AirBnB experience (in a way that we loved and appreciated). We only wish that we had more time to stay longer!

Stayed with four adults and two children and had plenty of room. The house is fabulous with lovely views from all the windows. Well equipped kitchen with lots of seating. We were there in September and the pool was a bit too cold. A great location with short drive to beach.

A cozy and very well equipped house in which we have felt very comfortable since arrival. In our case we appreciated the spacious kitchen space in which there was everything you need, and more, for 8 pax.

Beautiful modernist house on the edge of the water and in the middle of nature, perfect for walking. Kitchen prepared with everything you need and spacious rooms. The house is very spacious and very authentic. We were very good, I hope only one night.

Excellent choice for a getaway from Barcelona. A beautiful house rooted in it's own history. Truly remarkable.

An idyllic spot to get away from life. Only interruptions are the wandering sheep who bring their own soundtrack of tinkling bells and the various other wildlife that makes itself heard. Totally private and secluded but with surprisingly capable WiFi, excellent sized fridge and freezer (supermarkets are 30 mins away), great BBQ, open fire with loads of logs, effective heating when required. If you want peace and quiet it's probably as close to perfect as you'll find without leaving the planet.

I had my 50th birthday celebration at this lovely house. Had 40+ people stayed overnight and approx 50 friends enjoyed lunch and dinner together. All my friends, me and my wife had fabulous time there. Place is very good, comfortable and perfect for for up activities. Chairs, tables , lights, kitchen with large stoves , cutlery, large vessels, plates , glasses, bbq places (two of them), Industrial dish washer, etc., you name them was there. I did cooking myself for one Indian meal, and it was easy. Laura is very humble, friendly and attentive, her availability to my asks and help made it a joyful and easy experience. This group of friends and my family have decided to make such get together at Laura’s place a regular, yearly affair.

The house is located in a quiet place, with good views, it is very equipped. It has heating on every room. We were 8 people and had a great few days! Thanks :)
