Beautiful villa and great host!

It was the perfect place to stay with a nature-friendly and Ubud feel, a warm host, and a quiet and charming neighborhood! The shower outside was atmospheric and my kids loved it because of the fish and Gecko. The accommodation was more satisfactory than the photos. It's in a location that you can't reach by car, and even though I arrived late at night on the day of check-in, the host's family picked me up by bike, so it was also a new experience. The neighborhood atmosphere was quiet and pretty, and there were many restaurants within walking distance. It was a place I would like to stay again if I come to Ubud.

We needed a place to stay for three nights before heading to Ubud, and Villa 007 was the perfect choice. Our group consisted of four adult women, and with three bedrooms and four beds, we were able to sleep comfortably. The villa itself was incredibly charming and had everything we needed. Most of all, we are so grateful to the manager, Hendra, for waiting for us when we arrived past midnight. We also want to express our appreciation to our housekeeper, Yuli—she even went back to her house and returned to the villa just to help us when we couldn’t open the gate! The villa is located in a quiet residential area and feels very safe. Be sure to check out the small, charming restaurants nearby for a meal!

Thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay. With ages between 17 and 55 we all loved it. Ubud is about 45 minutes walk away but through beautiful scenery and some drink spots along the way. If you get the chance, have the villa team cook dinner for you, absolutely delicious and very cheap with more than enough food. Kadek is an excellent host and organised everything we asked. We would be more than happy to stay again.

Our stay at this villa in Bali was absolutely perfect! The property is stunning, with a beautiful blend of modern design and traditional Balinese touches. The pool was the highlight—crystal clear and surrounded by lush greenery, offering a private oasis to relax. The bedrooms were spacious, with incredibly comfortable beds, and the living area was perfect for unwinding. The host went above and beyond, providing exceptional service and thoughtful touches, like daily checkins and daily housekeeping. The location was ideal, close to fantastic restaurants and attractions but still peaceful and secluded. We can’t recommend this villa highly enough and can’t wait to return!

We stayed for 4,5 weeks at Margit’s guesthouse and had a wonderful time. The house is even nicer than the pictures suggest. We have a 3 year old toddler and a 10 month old baby who is crawling and exploring, so for us the safety for our children was important. We were grateful for the babygate that Margit had installed especially for us. We found the house to be very comfortable and clean; It has everything that we needed. You can open everything up and let the breeze go through the house, or keep everything closed and stay in the airco to cool down. The garden is beautiful with an amazing pool. The WiFi connection is good and fast in case you need to work from home. Dapur Deli in the beginning of the alley has good western food. And if you’re traveling with children we can also recommend de Kidz Café down the street. The household staff are lovely and were very sweet with our children. The communication with Margit was very good, she responds very quickly.

Great place to stay , Oki and his father are very good hosts, they provided us breakfast even at early morning as a requested. Private pool was very clean and everything else was very well maintained. Will definitely recommend for anyone looking for Peaceful villa to relax.

From the time the driver picked us up & dropped us off at Villa Aura, the process was seamless. Very easy to get in, once you open the front door you step into your own private oasis. Inside you find three large rooms with spacious bathrooms. Climb up to the third floor to find a relaxing rooftop with amazing views and lounge area. Staff is extremely friendly & answered all of our requests. Each day we would just let them know what we needed I.E extra pool towels or regular towels. The only negative thing was leaving the place!

The stay was exceptional—spotless, cozy, and perfectly located. Our host went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic experience!

Wonderful stay, such. a wonderfully designed space. We loved it and we loved Kedungu as well. Little ripper cafe next door is awesome. The design, swimming pool, view and terrace is unmatched. Shower outdoor takes a bit getting used to. Host was great, all in all an amazing stay.

Definitely the best stay I’ve had in Bali by far! The villa was extremely beautiful and we were made very comfortable throughout our stay. The villa manager and butler also made us feel so so at home, with breakfast, cold towels, welcome drinks and also helping us with the collection of our Grab orders. Location was great as well! Will definitely come back again - thanks so so much for the wonderful stay!

The nomad hub we had paid for was well worth the money and not only was the villa in pristine condition, customer service was excellent. Definitely will be back when visiting Bali again and 100% recommend!

We had an amazing week at Istana Semer thanks to Adi and the wonderful team who were looking after us during our stay. The villa and garden is so spacious and feels secluded and private. It's the perfect place to host a group of friends or family, allowing everyone to both spend time together with the group or relax on their own on the various day beds, the spacious common room or by the pool. The location was great and close to Seminyak and Canggu with loads of options for restaurants, shops and spas. We had most of our meals at the villa, however, with chef Agus preparing delicious food with a local touch. All bedrooms come with air conditioning which was a life saver and the wifi was strong, allowing us to work remote, either from the dedicated office or at the various desks/tables around the property. I recommend bringing a portable speaker so you can listen to music around the villa. I can't wait for my next visit to Istana Semer!

Nyoman went the extra yard waiting for us to arrive from a late at night flight. Was ever so helpful in ensuring we had everything we needed . Food cooked by Nyoman and her staff was fantastic ( forgot to get the satay recipe!) and accommodated the menu requirements of two hungry lads. The housekeeping ensured our rooms, living areas and dining area were always cleaned, neat and tidy. The gardener, always smiling even though it was a continuous task of clearing leaves and ensuring the pool was crystal clear. Great location, fantastic staff. Thanks again for a wonderful week in a beautiful place.

Abhi's place has such beautiful spaces that are just perfect for all sorts of groups and numbers. The space leads to a horizon of rice fields where you are able to see the sun set, which is something very rare in the busy places and streets of Canggu. The staff are also amazing, and were very attentive in all aspects. We had a 1-year old among our guests and they were excellent at catering to all the needs to the child. They are also very good cooks! Miku is an amazing host who is always there and never fails to be both polite, prompt and helpful. We were all very very happy to have been able to spend a couple days at Abhi's place. The place is so perfect! Thank you for taking care of us, we will definitely be back!!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Ambalama! The property is absolutely beautiful, with plenty of space and two separate pool areas, which added so much charm and relaxation to our visit. The staff, especially Ayu, went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Her hospitality was truly top-notch. However, it's worth noting that there is ongoing construction nearby, which does bring some noise during the day. Additionally, the new villa being built directly overlooks the main pool, so privacy might be a concern for some guests. That said, if these factors aren't dealbreakers for you, this villa is a fantastic choice! The serene environment, spacious layout, and amazing staff make it a memorable place to stay.

Home & staff were amazing! Polite, respectful, helpful, attentive, & accommodating. Big shout out to Putu, the house manager, she’s a rock star! You can tell this home is her domain & she takes pride in what she does. PSA - If you’re ever in Bali in general, but also at this home, & need transportation, be sure to reach out to Wiskey!
