Vacation rentals with beach access in Bacalar Municipality

The Lugar is nice, Just as a recommendation I would have liked the door to have an insurance since despite being a smart lock it was opened on 2 occasions, I'm sure Katy would have solved it since she was always very friendly, the pillows in the room smelled a little damp in the watering can the water pressure was regular, honestly small, I was with my family we are 3 adults and a baby everything was very comfortable. The view of the beautiful Pool!

Great place to stay, right across the malecon from the beach. Staff was great and friendly, very accommodating. Watch out for Dave. The apartment could use some kitchen supplies, cups etc. It’s on the second floor and the steps are difficult. We had a wonderful 10 day stay and will be back. Mahahual is a beautiful small town on a beautiful beach with great food and warm, friendly residents!

If what you are looking for is privacy, a super central area, a quiet place, with private docks, unlimited use kayaks and with parking. This is your ideal place, we had an incredible time, with a wonderful view of the lagoon, the center 2 blocks away, restaurants outside the accommodation and shops a few steps away, flexibility of arrival, they let us use the facilities while they gave us the loft, and practically the dock was just ours, we were always alone, Peter always had everything necessary to have a good day, Peter was always open to solve our doubts, the WIFI connection was weak but he lent us a router and it was resolved quickly. The only observation was that he needed some maintenance and cleaning details (nothing that affects the stay), the bathroom door did not close well and the sink key was a little dirty, in addition to the fact that the bed gushed with any movement, no doubt we would stay again!

The pool house at Casa Lucia is amazing! It absolutely made our trip to Bacalar. It felt so luxurious and the decking on the lagoon means we didn’t even need to leave the accommodation. Claudia provided a PDF document with recommendations and we got in contact with the chef named as “Pedro” in the document. However, the chefs that arrived were actually called Jose and Monica - they were AMAZING! We would definitely recommend that you book them for breakfast and dinner if you visit Casa Lucia. Thank you all for an amazing stay and experience.

Jorge and Eric's space is an excellent option, the location is unbeatable, the pool was very clean and the beach area is very comfortable, the whole apartment is super functional but I consider it comfortable for four people, the space for six people can be a little uncomfortable, but the rest is super good, we will definitely return.

Super nice place to stay. Place was right on the lagoon and had kayaks and bikes for us. The appartement is very spacious and has a smart tv. Louis was also very kind ! Would stay there again!

This is the perfect house for a large group. My party of 10 adults loved the house and the location. The pictures don’t do it justice. We especially appreciated the outdoor kitchen and the use of the Beach Club next door. Our host Luis was very responsive to all my questions. Checking in was a breeze! Pablo the onsite maintenance guy was great. He helped us with so much during our stay and he does a great job maintaining the house and the beach club. Thank you so much Pablo! Our overall experience was amazing and 100 percent recommend staying at this property!

the place is beautiful and cozy, it has everything to enjoy the stay. the host, very friendly and was always attentive, we will definitely come back i was delighted with everything.

Our stay was amazing! The house was great and well equipped with air conditioning and mosquito nets, making it very comfortable. The outdoor spaces were particularly enjoyable, especially the private dock, which was a real highlight. Check-in was smooth, and both the host and Jorge were very helpful and available to ensure everything went well. We had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this place!

We enjoyed staying at La Sirenita. Our host was friendly and the place had everything we needed. We are looking forward to staying at La Sirenita again.

We highly recommend staying with Lulu! She was really kind and welcoming and let us drop our bags when we arrived early. Two very sweet dogs. The place is in a great location really near the ecopark for swimming and toucan spotting. Lovely terrace for drinks in the evening. Thanks so much for a great stay!

The dock and the view of the lagoon is amazing! We were able to go to dinner easily in the nearby hotel so we didn't have to get back on the way. A very nice place that I would recommend.

I’d recommend this venue to those wishing to avoid the crazy bustle of the hotel district in town. It’s quiet with good parking directly outside and had a corner cafe with everything I needed after a long day fishing. The aircon works really well and there are lots of ceiling fans too. Big cooker and fridge freezer make self catering super easy. Nice size pool in the garden which I didn’t use because I was too busy fishing.

Great layout and location, we really liked the apartment. Walkable neighborhood for cafes, bars, etc. We brought our bikes and the kids rode through the neighborhood. We were also able to walk to the beach. The place had everything we needed including fun games. There was an incident with a rude and self-absorbed neighbor that really soured the end of our stay. I probably wouldn’t stay again because of that despite the actual place and the host being lovely.

The place is as described. It has everything you need. The view is great, and you are just steps away from the beach club which is a big plus. I personally didn’t find the stairs that hard but for older people might be an issue. Worth the view though.

If you're looking for a place of serenity, peace and quiet but still very enjoyable this is your go to casa! Lake front and located about 5 minutes from the town of Bacalar. from hammocks, to kayaks/paddle boards to a dock located steps from your door front with seating areas to sit on the dock. Teresa is a fantastic host and had everything we needed ready upon arrival. very clean casa and well kept yard. Highly recommend, and we do intend to be back ♡

Fantastic place with all the comforts and gorgeous view. We really enjoyed the terrace. Only thing is the water temperature is not regulated, shower was either really hot or cold. But overall gorgeous place!

Communication was very efficient. The room is very comfortable, the bed and pillows are very comfortable. The view overlooks the mangrove and the size of the forest looks stunning. The space feels a bit locked up, especially the bathroom as no windows can be opened by the mosquitoes. We recommend install mosquito nets to not necessarily use the AC (being the small room, it gave very direct air).

The location was excellent and the view just beautiful. You could walk the Malecon and were close to good restaurants! Would definitely stay here again.
