Cottage vacation rentals in Arusha

Our stay went truly amazing since beginning. Halima and Victoria were so nice and helpfull ! When we couldnt find our own ways, Halima always was able to help us find one. The house was beautiful! I've been to Simon's place twice and this time in the cottage. For two completely sufficient and a good starting point for Tanzania's north. Vehicle is recommended. On days off we were on the nearby golf course or by the pool at the Kili Seasons Hotel next door. The kitchen is well equipped. I would like another toaster and hand blender.

Incredible experience. Super quiet and peaceful. Tons of monkeys in the trees all day long. Easy access to Walking trails for exploring the rainforest. Brought all my own supplies so I never left. It was pretty epic and I’ll definitely return.

The area where the property is located is very beautiful. It is up on a very green hill, far from the city bustle. The apartment is inside James family's farm, closed to the main house. It has all the comforts. James and his family are the best hosts ever. They are very kind and devoted to their guests. They invited my daughter and I for dinner every night, so we could enjoy good local food and nice company. The farm hosts volunteers coming from all over the world, so there are always nice people around to have interesting conversation with. My daughter enjoyed very much to play with the family's kids. James organized for us excursions around Arusha and provided useful advices to safely enjoy the town. My daughter and I had a very good time!

Bushbaby Cottage is absolutely fantastic! One of the very best places I have ever stayed at! I loved everything about it: beautiful, green surroundings where you can observe the wildlife right from your lounger, a quiet and peaceful area to walk in without being harrassed and you can walk to non lethal wildlife like zebras, gazelles and wildebeest and observe them from the nearby Polo club. You can come here without any prep for Tanzania as you could arrange everything from Lesley's place and you would have great personal recommendations that you can trust. We travelled by taxi and that wasn't a problem, either. If you bring the basics, you can supplement with stuff from the garden and you can order in food. The bushbabies Lesley feeds in the evening are fantastic too, as are the lovely dogs. My partner is not a dog person at all and after a while he was the one petting them most, as they are so well behaved. I am planning to go back next year!

The house is nicely designed, with very nice land scape. Our children played around the garden while we were grilling which was very nice and memorable Nice place to take family picture, awesome Mount Meru View We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend for a family visit, or friends getaways.

We had a wonderful stay at Allegras Airbnb in Arusha. Allegra was very friendly and responsive, making us feel welcome from the start. The house itself was cozy, clean, spacious and private with great security provided by the kind and attentive night and day guards, on clear days we had a beautiful view of Mount Meru! The location was excellent, close enough to town that we could easily walk there. One challenge we faced was that the map on Airbnb was incorrect which made it difficult to find the house initially, however, the caretaker was incredibly helpful and came to meet us at a designated spot to guide us there. A note for future guests: the house isn't equipped with basic foodstuffs like tea leaves, coffee, salt etc so it's a good idea to bring those along. Additionally we experienced some issues with wifi and the showers but Allegra addressed them promptly and everything was fixed quickly Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend Allegra's place!

We adored our stay at The Stables. The estate is stunning and we felt safe, calm and oh so relaxed. We loved being able to pick our own vegetables from the patch and being able to walk to the polo club for Wednesday social. Would recommend to any friends visiting Tanzania! The house was more beautiful in person than in pictures. Simon & Miriam were extremely helpful &nice. The house is spacious. Beautifully decorated. Let’s not forget the swimming pool which was a great treat after a long day of exploring Arusha. Aim Mall & Cultural Heritage Centre are only a 10 minute drive from the house. The road to the house is murrum but the area is very safe & Miriam has CCTV. We very much enjoyed our stay
