Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Arusha Region

Incredible experience. Super quiet and peaceful. Tons of monkeys in the trees all day long. Easy access to Walking trails for exploring the rainforest. Brought all my own supplies so I never left. It was pretty epic and I’ll definitely return.

Beautiful house very pleasant to live in thanks to its wide open spaces and brightness. It feels like you're in harmony with nature. Everything is together for an idyllic stay in Arusha. You can alternate peaceful and literary days by the pool or discover the surrounding places. Great starting point for activities: Arusha park, warm water source of Chemka, local markets... The staff is caring and attentive to needs. Excellent!

Bushbaby Cottage is absolutely fantastic! One of the very best places I have ever stayed at! I loved everything about it: beautiful, green surroundings where you can observe the wildlife right from your lounger, a quiet and peaceful area to walk in without being harrassed and you can walk to non lethal wildlife like zebras, gazelles and wildebeest and observe them from the nearby Polo club. You can come here without any prep for Tanzania as you could arrange everything from Lesley's place and you would have great personal recommendations that you can trust. We travelled by taxi and that wasn't a problem, either. If you bring the basics, you can supplement with stuff from the garden and you can order in food. The bushbabies Lesley feeds in the evening are fantastic too, as are the lovely dogs. My partner is not a dog person at all and after a while he was the one petting them most, as they are so well behaved. I am planning to go back next year!

Amazing place to stay! The beds are incredibly comfortable. The host is super responsive and proactive. The gardener during daytime and the night guard are really kind and welcoming. The fact that we are able to do our own washing in the laundry room is definitely a plus! We had a little water issue which was solved super quickly. The host came to check within a couple of minutes and even refunded some amount for the inconvenience, which was really appreciated. We will stay here again! For sure!

After Arriving at Kelvin's place, I felt right at home. Their hospitality and gentleness was impeccable. Their English was perfect. I felt safe and stress free. The place is quiet, relaxing and very cozy. I would recommend this place for a simple quiet and private get away. Rather you are looking for a quiet private spot or a small group party with friends in a safe cozy place, this would be the place to go and very much worth the price. Thank you Kelvin for being a Great Host!!!

The cottage was absolutely wonderful. We stayed here for 4 nights and were able to do some sightseeing in Arusha and went to Arusha national park. There is a grill place close by where we went for a drink. Both of us needed to work remotely and this was a great place to do so. The Beamer was a very very nice addition and we ended up watching movies every night! There was no cooking oil but we left some sunflower and olive and spices behind for the next guests! Thank you Martin and everyone else for the lovely stay! Would definitely recommend and go here again.

It was a great stay and Adam is a great host.Almost everyone in arusha knows him. The place is really wonderfull with great tv and internet. Adam was also flexible with our checkin and checkouts. Only 2 fans was provided but weather in arusha at night was nice we didn’t need them There are 2 people on the property at their separate hut that are help to the place and open and close the big doors. They are really helpful. Our only problem is the bathrooms, water-pressure was bit low. Also it states that there are 2 bathrooms but technically it’s only 1 unless you are really comfortable with people you are traveling with; they are separated by tinted glass so silhouette of people are visa le and on the very top they are connected so you can hear what is happening on the other bathroom. Other than that it was a perfect stay. You can walk like 5 min to main street and take a toktok to middle of arusha ~ 10min for 4k rupes

I had the privilege of staying at Elle’s place for a day (I was transitioning between the Serengeti and my flight out of Kilimanjaro) was able to spend most of that time with her two lovely dogs and relaxing in her beautiful listing and garden. She had lots of helpful tips for things to do close by and a contact for a taxi should you need to travel out! I highly recommend her place and if you do stay, definitely give her puppies lots of love!!!
