Ski-in/out vacation rentals in Aroostook County

Although the listing described a different cabin on the neoc property, as soon as I reserved it they sent a message clarifying which cabin it was and giving a complete and excellent description of the cabin we were renting. We stayed in the Bear's Den cabin, an A-frame building close to The River Driver's restaurant, for the weekend of the marathon & half. The cabin was nice and warm on a weekend with very cold temperatures. On arrival we found it to be very clean and everything in order. Although the kitchen has no dishwasher and no kettle for boiling water, it does have a good coffee maker with filters supplied, which is extremely helpful. There are paper towels and everything needed for washing dishes, but no food storage items like aluminum foil or plastic wrap. None of this was a problem for us; it's just good to be prepared and bring what you need if you plan to use the kitchen. We would definitely stay here again! The people at neoc are welcoming and very kind and helpful.

We had a great stay very close to the snowmobile trails and to town. Looking forward to staying again in the future.

I grew up in Fort Kent so I knew where things were and about the train. I didn’t know that they have changed the time of the train. But I feel back to sleep. It’s a quiet town not much to do. But great to relax.

Carl met us when we pulled in. Could talk with him and his wife forever. Discovered later on that my daughter’s boyfriend and Carl might be distant cousins. Felt like the place was ours to use, come and go as we pleased, very accommodating for our snowmobiles etc.

I was in town for a conference and I wasn't sure how many nights I would need until just a few days before the event. At that point all of the (decent) hotels were booked but I thought that I was going to be able to rely on my favorite hotel chain since I was in their highest tier where they have a "48-hour reservation guarantee. When they didn't honor that even after I escalated it, I found Farrah's place and it was only a few more dollars than the current hotel demand pricing in that area with probably 5 times the floor area. Great things about it: Very neat and clean I lot of little unexpected extras in case you forgot to bring it A dreamily comfortable king size bed with sheets that made you want to stay in it Many coffee options Although it had trays rather than an ice maker, there was ample ice made and stockpiled and full trays Lots of comfy seating in the living room positioned for conversation or just doing some binge watching Everything has a place Surprisingly quiet inside
