Absolutely amazing! We have stayed in Elisabeth's and Arthur's cozy cottage for two weeks and celebrated Christmas and New Year's Eve there. From the begin on, communication with Elisabeth and Arthur was great and easy. They were always helpful with advices regarding the house and the region. We have travelled with 5 persons and the accommodation had offered us enough space for relaxing and cooking together. The kitchen has everything you need for a long stay, the living room had a great sofa and a comfortable chair to relax and enjoy the surrounding nature. Our hosts even provided a small, well decorated Christmas Tree for us, thank you again! An absolute highlight was the view of the lighted ski slope by night. In general, there are plenty of different outdoor activities you can enjoy. Again, thank you so much for all that we were able to stay in your cottage. We would love to come back one day and we will recommend to our friends and family, if they want to stay in Norway! :)

We loved our stay at the cabin! The location is stunning, we loved our morning coffees looking out to the fjord. It gave us a real taste of living in a more rural location of Norway - however shops were easy to find. Plenty of supermarkets and a shopping mall (recommend going to Vinmonopolet if you need a bottle wine or local liquor) Unfortunately we didn't get use of the boats due to seasonal weather (not expensive to hire) but with plenty of ferries and nearby scenic routes we had plenty to do! The cabin is cosy warm, and the whirlpool is a great treat. Easy to use dishwasher and clothes washing machine. Quiet and peaceful, we would love to return in the future!

Per is a very kind and welcoming host. He waited for us at the check-in and showed us his wonderful cabin on the hill, with beautiful view and peaceful surroundings. He also helped us carry our luggage and gave us great information before our stay, that helped us organize it better. Later during our stay, he gave us further hints and advice, so we could get the most of our Sogndal experience. Everything in the cabin was as shown in the photos, it's an amazing place. Jacuzzi with a view on the lake, mountains and evening sky with meteor showers is an unforgettable experience. Thank you for the stay, Per!

We had a fantastic stay, the house and the surroundings are even more beautiful than on the pictures. A great place to enjoy the Norwegian winter. Eirik is a very friendly host who responds quickly to messages.

We had a great New Year's holiday at the house in the snow and cold just as we wanted. The kids had a lot of fun on the hill even though the lift was closed. The house is spacious and very well appointed, so there was room for both relaxation, cooking, games and coziness. We give our best recommendations.

Great cabin with good amenities including well equipped kitchen. Everything was clean and tidy and of good quality. Good instructions for arrival and departure, so we felt well received/taken care of. Numerous opportunities for short and longer trips, both on a gravel road, trail and in steep terrain. We stayed at Edit Irene's place for a week to celebrate Christmas and go on a summit trip and the stay was amazing. The cabin is spacious, well equipped, and is perfectly located for mountain hikes with several great peaks nearby. Recommended!

Absolutely loved this place, mainly for the feeling of adventure. The track was closed and covered with deep snow from the bridge by the main road (E16) so had to trek 1.5km with snowshoes. Well worth it as none of the other cabins were occupied and I had the whole valley to myself. The cabin was perfect, rustic but comfortable. Plenty of firewood in the shed and the log burner was great for melting ice for water. Solar electricity provided lights and the gas hob was fine for cooking. it had everything I needed and the frozen, silent, starry night was one I will always remember with pleasure. Thank you

We very much wish we had spent more than one night in this beautiful fishing cottage. It was incredibly peaceful and right at the water’s edge. It was very conveniently located and there was a self-service grocery store just a minute down the road.

We had a lovely time in the cabin. The area is stunning and peaceful. The cabine is beautifully decorated and has everything you need to disconnect and recharge.

We had a very nice stay with beautiful views over the fjord! The cottage is nicely furnished and equipped with everything. You will find the cottage easiest if you drive from Luster to Skjolden. There is a parking space in the grass along the road. Then with a flight of stairs to the cottage.

Thank you, we had such a lovely stay! Henrik, Sara and Michelle were super-friendly, kind and helpful and made our stay extra special. For us ,as a family it was perfect! Hours of xc skiing to be had and a littleski tourdirectlyfrom the cabinup onto a mountainwith views all around! The host lent us some skiis for our 7 yr old,which really made our trip and it just felt like a very warm and welcoming place. Thank you

This place is a true gem at Tyinkrysset. The cabin sits by the stunning Tyin Lake, offering a breathtaking, picturesque view that words can’t fully capture. If you love snow mountains like we do, this is the perfect spot for you. There are plenty of hiking trails, and the cabin is very private, calm, and quiet. Watching the sunrise over the lake was an unforgettable experience. The cabin was well-equipped with an induction stove, cooking utensils, and even cooking seasonings. There were foldable chairs available, which we used to sit outside and enjoy the sunrise. Michelle was a very responsive host who provided clear instructions for finding the cabin, making check-in a breeze. She was also flexible with the check-in and checkout times and even left complimentary chocolates for us.We can’t get over the incredible view and will definitely return. I highly recommend this place 100%☺️

A dreamy place for children. Sven was very flexible and easily accessible. There are plenty of rooms and plenty of wet rooms. And a small sauna. The living dining room has a fantastic view! The children can let off steam right out into the snow and let off steam there. There is something for children of all ages to play in the house (whole shelf full of games). We all felt very comfortable there!
