Great location. Good size apartment and fully equipped to cook and work remotely. Quiet and peaceful even though is in the historic center at closing distance from all the main points of interest in Coimbra. David and his wife are great hosts!

The host, Patima, carefully takes care of any shortcomings. The location of the property is a bit away from the main street, so it's quiet, and you can walk to the main street, and there's a riverside promenade that's great for a walk just 2 minutes away.

We could not have asked for a more comfortable, accessible, convenient location. The apartment is truly in the middle of things. A ten minute walk to just about any of the sights. The neighborhood had some excellent restaurants within steps. The apartment is beautifully designed with all the comforts of home. We were very grateful to be able to check in early upon our arrival in Coimbra; the host’s flexibility was very much appreciated. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Fabio who gave us a brief orientation to all the amenities, including the laundry, the beautiful back yard - including all the tangerines we could eat - and the convenient back entrance. The bed was very comfortable and while there was a lot of student activity, with the windows and shutters closed, it was very quiet. We highly recommend Sobre Ribas for your stay in Coimbra.

A very nice and comfortable accommodation in every respect. The operation of the access is perfect and innovative. We stayed three weeks at home and also the location is perfect to be able to visit nearby areas between Lisbon and Ororto. Beaches near 10 min drive like S. Pedro Moel and others. No complaints about it. Definitely 100% recommended. See you next time

We had a wonderful time and especially enjoyed the quiet location right on the beach (where you can walk for miles)! The apartment and amenities are exactly as shown in the photos and in the description. Simone and her family were incredibly nice, always available and gave us great recommendations. Also the check-in/check-out and even a rebooking was very flexible and uncomplicated. Thank you for that!! :-)

Our stay here was exactly what we were hoping for! Even with the weather being too cold to enjoy the exterior spaces we had a fantastic stay! The local businesses were all fantastic and welcoming. This was a perfect place to base ourselves to explore the central region of Portugal for a week. A stand out element for us was the ability to control the temperature of different rooms in wall mounted units. We all slept very comfortably in our preferred climate! Don't miss the two great restaurants nearby. The food was wonderful and the staff was very friendly in both places.

Paula's place was comfortable a home away from home. we were given local attraction advice which was very helpful. The peaceful morning and evening walks were great. highly recommend Paula's home.

Fernanda was very helpful having given several recommendations on the location, points of interest and commercial establishments of the village. The accommodation we recommend and where we will return for sure.

Lana’s place was absolutely lovely. The area was quiet and peaceful. There were plenty of trails nearby. We loved our time there!

We were in this house with a friendly couple and 4 children. For the youngest the house was fantastic, as it has a lot of outdoor space to play and also has the swimming pool for swimming. The house is also equipped with a number of board games and a retro game console that also served the adults :) In the house there are also several collectibles that we chose to store in the drawers because we were afraid that the children would spoil. For adults, the house is very spacious, the kitchen is well equipped and only one espresso machine was missing:) There is a coffee machine, but the filter is not expressed. The house has two outdoor spaces, one that is fantastic and the other more reserved next to the house and which has the barbecue that is also great. We loved the house, the decor and the space. The only if not is the floor ranger both on the 1st floor, which can be boring at night, but we feel like it was part of the home experience! We loved it!

Spent a few days in Dirk's place with family. We were looking for a peaceful place to relax and that's exactly what we got. Definitely booking again when I go back to the area.

Excellent! A very good place to spend a vacation. The house is beautiful, with everything we needed to spend a few weeks on vacation. The view we have of the ocean is wonderful. Mr. António is very attentive. I highly recommend it.

Pete and Linda are the best hosts we've ever had on Airbnb. They both went out of their way to make us happy and comfortable, from local restaurant recommendations to pool toys and everything in-between. Our daughter had an amazing holiday! The house itself is charming, with tonnes of space and everything you could need. The pool is fantastic and well kept. The local area is remote and beautiful with gorgeous countryside everywhere and some charming river beaches. I managed a run down from the house to the beach and back a couple of times but it's pretty hilly. In short, we couldn't recommend this place more. Thanks

Good spot, close to the main street of the city. Small and cozy.

the place is cozy, with good location and efficient for what is proposed. Easy local parking at the foot of the villa and communication with the host was excellent. a single detail for the bathroom. the toilet is located in an uncomfortable position, which for people with less mobility or larger size may be a problem, but it did not hinder our stay. we would come back.

i had a very nice stay Cidalina is always very responsive , in the apartment there was everything. I recommend to anyone to discover this little corner of Portugal.

Very clean apartment in good location. The access to the pool and gym is a great addition. The gym is well kitted out for a short getaway. Fernanda’s communication was very good and suggested some great restaurants nearby, shame that some of them were closed for holiday. However, the ice cream spot suggested was the best we’ve ever had! The only comment I’d make is that the washing machine is in the communal area and not the apartment itself. It was €3 to use which isn’t an issue but we didn’t have any pods. Would definitely stay here again if visiting the area.

We are a couple with an active 7-year-old boy. We really enjoyed our stay in Angelo's apartment. It was spacious, quiet and clean. We loved traditional Buarcos and the location of the flat - 1-2 mins walk to the beach and a lovely 15-20 min walk along the seafront to Figuera da Foz. Plenty of restaurants, cafés and supermarkets nearby. Angelo was very friendly and attentive, always replying quickly to our queries before and during our stay. Our son's favourite activities were the tree-top adventure park and crazy golf in Figuera, pedal boats on the river at Montemor-o-Vehlo (also walking along the walls of the castle there) and Ciencia Viva museum in Coimbra. We were very sad to leave and would definitely stay again if we return to this area of Portugal!
