Vacation rentals with a firepit in Alt Empordà

We very much enjoyed our stay here, the house exceeded our expectations. The area near the house was very quiet (we went in December, I don't know what it's like in Summer) and close to various supermarkets. Communication with the host was fluid, rapid and informative. The whole area was very dog friendly which was important for us. L'Escala is more than just a beach town, there are many interesting places to visit and things to do. I would thoroughly recommend staying here and would do so again without hesitation.

The truth was that everything was great, the kitchen was very equipped, the host was super attentive, had a jacuzzi, pinpon track, hydromassage, barbecue, it was not missing the smallest detail, it surprised for the better. The area is super quiet, the farmhouse very nice, total disconnection in the middle of the countryside full of trees and birds. We had doubts about some comment that the farmhouse was small, but it is very good for 8 people, it has mosquito nets, you do not pass hot or in August. We spent 2 great nights full of a charming setting. We will repeat 😊

We were here with our 2 children (3,5 years). We absolutely loved it even if the weather was not as beautiful. We felt right at home. David was super helpful. The tree house and pool were fantastic for the kids. We will be back for sure.

A beautiful house, tastefully renovated, cozy and functional, with lots of detail. Everything is very clean, tidy and comfortable. Nothing has been lacked. The beautiful garden and quiet area. Mireia was very attentive and complete communication with good suggestions. We will definitely repeat!

We were a cross generational group of 5 adults, the eldest being 83 and the youngest 20 (and a dog). The number of the villa we were given wasn't the right number and so we had a little difficulty in finding the villa. Thankfully Andreu was there to greet us and so I was able to telephone him for help. He is a friendly, charming and welcoming host. He showed us around and explained everything. The villa was very comfortable and homely. It was sufficiently spacious for us. The beds and settees were extremely comfortable. The 2.5 bathrooms were extremely useful. The garden was small, but fully enclosed, and there is signficant public space. The kitchen is small, but extremely well equipped. The house was clean and tidy throughout. The house is well placed; about a 7-10 minute walk to the beach and just 3 minutes walk to supermarkets. It was a very beautiful and interesting area to explore. We spent all our time walking the coastal footpaths and exploring medieval villages (and eating!)

Thank you Denys for hosting us so well in the fisherman's house. We loved the quiet of the area and were able to observe dozens of water birds including the beautiful pink flamingos. I recommend this location to recharge and be as close as possible to nature.

We stayed at Sylvie's villa at the at the end of October. The villa was amazing and as described by the pictures. The kitchen was fully equipped and easy to find everything. We used the BBQ a few times and also cooked in the villa. The pool was very popular with my two boys ages 12 and 13. With it being heated and lit at night they enjoyed it long into the evening. The villa is very private and we liked this. You do ideally need some form of transport for shops and beech etc but we had our car so ideal location for us. The villa was very clean on arrival and the pool maintained during our stay. Would definitely recommend a stay here :) Sylvie was very responsive to messages during our stay.

Good stay, it does not have a coffee machine if you are to have coffee or finish the food with a dessert like the coffee you will have to go down to loret 5km…. , the garbage has to be transported from the car to 1Km to leave it in its corresponding place. It does not have shower soap, you will have to bring your own, it has only 1 dishwasher tablet (if you spend more time in the accommodation touch deep wash by hand) garbage bin with only 1 garbage bag for 3 days of stay (7 people in the accommodation) the stay was "good" advisable for the next one, not having to be aware of a blind, you pay to find the accommodation, apartment, house, apartment "good" …. In the end…. Otherwise very good! Quiet, that's what you're looking for to get away from taking care of, disconnecting, and having a good time!

The accommodation is really beautiful and clean, adapted to the number we were,8. It has great views of the harbor and beach. The rooms are large, there is even a balcony that allowed us to eat outdoors and read and admire the view in the evening. The bedding is nice. Everything was available for cleaning. Finally, the hosts were always available, were quick to respond, and even adapted to our checkout conditions. It was nice to have people who are responsive and understandable. i highly recommend this listing that I list in my favorites. A memorable stay!

Very nice apartment, ideally located in the center of Argeles. We took advantage of the terrace in February: it's great. Very well equipped and well arranged; a parking space to be sure to park; Sandra very responsive and friendly. We recommend and will come back with the kids or friends:)

Claire and Peter are extremely welcoming, at the same time discreet, but attentive and responsive to any needs. The location is paradise for those who love the beauty of nature, silence, tranquility and simplicity. Ideal for browsing Cathar sites in all directions. The main room is spacious, comfortable and comfortable to live in. Also, the view from this room and from the adjoining terrace is really splendid. Too bad we came without our guitars, because we learned that Peter was a good guitarist and we could have shared a few notes. We highly recommend this place for all nature lovers. an excellent accommodation in the center of Port Vendres, very quiet. the house is super clean and very well equipped. an excellent exterior. We would highly recommend this accommodation. the owners are very responsive.

Air -100 stars for friendly communication,nice and helpful tips thank you for this. -100 stars for cleanliness in the apartment as well as in the stairwells and the fabulous smell -The house is set on a mountain. There is often light wind. The apartment has 2 balconies so there is enough fresh air in the apartment when you open both. In addition, there are fans in every room. We were really never too warm. Also at night.Temperature in the apartment perfect. Again 100 stars. -100 stars for comfortable beds. My husband had no back pain for the first time!! -100 stars for no mosquitoes. -100 stars for toys in the children's room, that's been great. -100 for the pool -100 stars for great kitchen amenities. A large bowl for salad would be great. Then it would be perfect. The beach 10 minutes from the house was amazing. We had a fabulous time. We will be back. Only 1 star deduction because the view from the children's room was not so nice.

We were met by Cati, who took care of everything. More firewood if we needed it and she brought a fire bowl where we could keep up nice and warm. The cottage is basic, but cosy. We were unfortunate that it was midnight but during the day it was a lovely place to be. We will be back!

Our stay at the Mas Casamitjana has been excellent, cozy, and the spectacular environment. The treatment was impeccable and they were very aware that we had nothing to do with it. Our getaway with friends was for disconnection and rest and has met all expectations. We will definitely be back here.

Marta's husband meet us on arrival. He was a lovley gentleman who made us feel relaxed and welcomed as he showed us round the property on arrival. The villa was spacious, incredibly clean and nicely presented. We enjoyed a relaxing holiday, with days spent by the pool and enjoying the grounds and bbq facilities. The playroom and swings where a lovely bonus for our son. We had a brilliant family holiday and would recommend if you're looking for a quiet picturesque mountain location.

Warm welcome, Paola is solar and was very available. The accommodation is lovely, very clean, convenient and very well equipped. Our short stay was embellished by the location of the accommodation and the magnificent view in the morning. We are delighted. Thank you Paola.

Very cozy house, well located for excursions around the Moianès. Josep very friendly and attentive, we were very at ease.

The stay in the casita was very welcoming and pleasant. Just what we were looking for a quiet end. It's equipped with everything you'll need. Even though it was cold those days we went, inside the fireplace and other stoves allowed you to be warm. 2 min from the place there is a big supermarket where you can buy anything you need. Very good experience :)

We LOVED IT!!!! A super original experience to do with the family: unusual accommodation for children but very comfortable for parents. It's well thought out super cute outdoor kitchen well equipped with enough to make a fire to grill chamallow we should have taken one more night. Tipis are a little transparent take an eye mask if you are sensitive to light.
