Cabin vacation rentals in Alnwick

We had a wonderful 3 days at Ash Lodge, the cabin was in such a calming, peaceful spot. Just what we had hoped for, for some much needed downtime! It was bright, airy and extremely clean. It was just the right size for us as a family of 4 and had everything we needed! Sarah was an excellent host with very clear instructions and great communication. We enjoyed dining outside as we landed on some lovely weather, and you could see the stars so brightly at night! Thank you for a fantastic stay!

We stayed in the Sung for a 2 night girls weekend away.. for a special birthday. Before we arrived, Sara was easy to contact, and allowed us to check in early to extend our celebrations. As we arrived, our Asda delivery was awaiting our arrival, which makes things much easier. The Sung was immaculate. The pictures don’t do it justice. The beds are incredibly comfy!! And the couch!! Sara pays so much attention to detail, and even made us a hamper to enjoy. There was Prosecco in the fridge, birthday cakes, and more - thank you!! We spent most of our time in the tub (which is maintained every day, and amazing at night when the stars are shining), and having one too many Proseccos, but there’s lots of walking to do. We ventured out to one of the local pubs which was delicious too. We forgot a bag when we left, and Sara called us and help arrange for us to come back and collect. We’ll definitely be back!! we throughly enjoyed our stay here. excellent location. cabin was clean, homely and spacious! would stay here again. only downfall would be the jets on the hot tub could do with being updated as some of them never worked so we had to take it in turns. overall a fantastic stay!

I would happily recommend this place, 10 out of 10 . Angus was so easy to communicate with and the place is so peaceful and beautiful. Very quiet. Was magical in the hot tub with the lights outside and the view. The place was immaculate and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The shower was powerful and the water was nice and hot and the central heating could be set to whatever temperature you want in the bedroom and the lounge separately. The drying room outside was genius. Great for our outerwear and boots which got wet at the beach when looking for seaglass.

Perfect from start to finish. Every little detail and thought is perfect in this pod. Couldn’t fault a thing. Cleanliness perfect. Every amenity is pristine and feels brand new everything we used here. Facilities great for cooking your own meals, best I’ve had compared to other stays like this. Heidi herself was welcoming and made sure everything was ok. Can tell she cares a lot!

Great stay at swan lodge, comfortable, homely and the hot tub was exactly what was needed on the cold December days. The walks around the site were brilliant and helped us create some great adventures with the kids. We would definitely recommend it and will look to visit again.

Fantastic stay at Barn Owl Lodge. Very peaceful, beautiful views and a wonderful hot tub. The lodge itself was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Would definitely like to stay again 🙂

We had a great stay. Lodge has everything you need and is very clean. The hot tub was lovely. Helen even let us know we could have later checkout which was great.

Have just spent 3 nights at this beautiful place with my parents and 2 small dogs. Perfect location and amazing lodge. Samantha was very responsive to a query I had. Lodge was situated within perfect walking distance to beach, shop and pub. Lovely 20 minute walk down to the beach (long way) with dogs and beautiful scenery down at the beach in both directions along with beautiful scenery from the lodge. Lodge was comfortable and cosy and an extra special touch of some luxury goodies for arrival. Check in was straight forward and easy. If I had to fault anything, it would be nothing to do with the lodge or location - there is a little coffee van situated in the car park down at the beach which was closed both days we were down there which would have been lovely to end our costal walk with a cuppa - unfortunately our little pooches are not sociable which made it difficult to have a glass of vino at the pub situated next to the car park but it didn’t spoil anything. 10/10 ⭐️

Excellent warm spacious and comfy lodge… Nice location in park. Park security is excellent.. Highly recommended.

Lovely caravan, in a peaceful location with beautiful surroundings. Perfectly located close to Alnwick, Alnmouth, Bamburgh etc. Will be back.

Incredible place. Took my two young kids and Alan was good enough to show them the telescope even past theit bedtime. He 100% made my 6 year old full of excitement and wonder and a convert to astronomy. The location is pecaeful, full of wildlife and birdsong and just an incredible find. Its out of the way, but: 1. It has to be because of light pollution and 2. If my old campervan made it there, you can too. Any single parents of young kids just be aware bathroom and kitchen are outside accommodatiom and also downstairs, so be prepared to sneak out if you need a posg bedtime wee! Recommended unreservedly.

From booking till we got there nothing was a chore to Lynn. Details to the caravan were spot on and access to the keys was easy. The caravan was spacious and despite the gales we had at the weekend was warm. Everything we needed was found in the caravan and the milk for a cuppa on arrival was appreciated, especially considering late arrival. We will definitely be looking to stay again when we are up visiting friends and family again.

It was a great lovely 3 nights with the family. The caravan was clean, tidy and cosy. Well equipped from cutlery, plates, table mats. Cooking stove, microvewave oven and all was perfect. It is very convenient when do you prefer to cook. Breathing and beautiful scenery of the beach, thats one factor and it's Only walking distance from the caravan. Loads of shops nearby and very accessible. The front traditional first and chips was brilliant, very tasty and its worth the money. Over-all stay was worth the money. My family and I had a wonderful stay and had a great time. I would recommend the place to the others. Highly recommended! Till next time. Thank you Tom and Dawn! xx

Rob, I can’t thank you more mate the best experience I’ve had in a lifetime such a amazing place to stay, such a hidden gem the price needs to be doubled then doubled again for the value of this beauty. We really enjoyed our stay in the pods and had such a relaxing time! They were super clean and beautiful inside with everything you could need in the kitchen and also had amazing views outside where our dog loved to look through the window. We especially loved how peaceful it was and the TV was an added bonus to relax at night. The location was great, it wasn’t far from Durham for a day trip and lots of local pubs/restaurants a ten minute drive away. Lucy was the perfect host and even let check in early/out late, her communication was top draw and she was super responsive but really appreciated how she left us to our own devices. Would love to stay in Summer and experience the outside a bit more, highly recommend 🙂 thanks again for an amazing stay!

Lovely cabin, exactly as described. Hot tub heated on arrival which was perfect. No welcome gift, which was described in check in and always had previously at lodge stays which was a shame considering it was Xmas. Perfectly clean and essentials such as salt & pepper provided. Lots of cooking utensils which was great too. Easy to get to and perfect location!

This was a truly wonderful place to stay. Felt like home as every little detail had been thought about and was really cosy. It was perfect for the 6 of us. Great location right next to the sea with wonderful sunrises strolling along the beach. Beautifully decorated and well kept accomodation. Close to some fabulous attractions. We enjoyed Woodhorn Colliery museum, saw dolphins at Newbiggin as the sun set, a fantastic boat trip to the Farne Islands and Lindisfarne from Seahouses, Warkworth Castle and beach, and a stop in Amble. Thank you so much to our wonderful hosts who kept in good communication throughout and were really helpful. We would thoroughly recommend this place to others looking for a base to explore Northumberland and all it has to offer.

We booked for only 2 nights with not much notice. Great set up for the 3 of us. Could have spent longer there. Not easy to find initially but Jamie responded with remarkable swiftness! Appreciated the flexibility on check out as well. All good.

Second stay, as beautiful as the first time. The location on the beach is simply stunning. The caravan is perfect for our family of 4, well equipped and in a quiet location.

Beautiful location and lodge very comfortable, clean and brilliant amenities. Had a very pleasurable stay. Only down fall we had bad weather the couple days we were there the hot tub could do with some sort of shelter but overall was a brilliant stay x

What a find! Booked last minute on the day and found a beautiful pod , everything had been thought about so carefully from the decor , kitchen equipment and spices /coffee/tea etc. We saw deer , an owl and got to relax in the newly installed hot tub watching the sunset! will definitely return.

What an amazing place Mystic Falls is.. it’s a private lodge, which I loved it wasn’t overlooked, although another lodge next door it gave great privacy. The decor is outstanding, best sleeps ever. I just loved it, I had my two dogs who were so relaxed too. Great base to explore Northumberland and relax in the hot tub after lots of walking xx Thankyou xx
