Vacation rentals with a firepit in Algoma District

This place was something for sure. Very well done with tons of thought put in everywhere you look. You have to see it to truly appreciate that the hosts definitely did everything they could to make a stay there over the top enjoyable!!!!!

Cabin was comfortable and beautifully decorated with a neutral boho, calm yoga type vibe. Easy to find right off a couple main roads, yet very private. There are so many places to sleep! But a single small bathroom might be a draw back from renting this one for a large group. It worked great for our group of three though! We visited during the off season, which I didn’t realize meant we would not see the beach or bay water. It was covered with snow and ice for miles! And we got snowed in after about 10 inches of fresh snow fell over night. Since the nearest open store was a 50 minute drive back to Sault St. Marie, we had planned ahead so had plenty of food and drinks to hunker down for a day or two. But the home owner was responsible and had a truck come run tracks down the drive for us to get out if we needed to. It was all so lovely and we took advantage of it, even read my book out in the hammock all bundled up. The snow and ice was just not what I had expected.

David was a professional host that provided a spacious and squeaky clean cottage for our family. The space was peaceful for our family of six and we had plenty of room to gather along with plenty of privacy. We enjoyed sightseeing, snowshoeing, and skiing in the region. David also left us an awesome apple pie that was the best I have tasted since my Grandmother's homemade apple pie.

This place truly felt like home. The host was amazing—super communicative and thoughtful throughout the stay. It’s the perfect spot if you’re looking to unwind in a peaceful, quiet environment with beautiful views all around. Everything about this trip was just what I needed. Loved every moment and would definitely come back again!

Glenn and Sonja’s beautiful home was perfect for our family gathering over the Easter weekend. The loft area was the highlight for the kids, and the well-equipped kitchen was much appreciated by the adults. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms for our large group, and a nice mix of large gathering areas and places to go for peace and quiet. We will definitely be trying to book their place again the next time our family gets together!

Definitely coming back here! Grant is very welcoming and has been very nice and super responsive. The place is amazing and private! It was also very easy to find. Amazing host, he provided us will all the home essentials. Place is SUPER clean and cozy and cute! Definitely recommended COME HERE you won’t regret it

I felt right at home as soon as I got into the apartment. Great response from them when needed. Internet was great for work👍🏻 I will definitely rebook next time I’m in Kapuskasing and would recommend this location to anyone that wants to have a relaxing stay that feels like a home.

Wonderful stay and delightful host!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cozy loft! The loft was very clean and had everything we needed for our three night stay. The information binder was a great resource for suggesting hiking trails. There is a restaurant next door available for takeout. It did close at 6pm this time of year, so check their hours. The General Store (right next door) has delicious and fresh apple fritters! A must try! The host was friendly and very responsive! We would definitely stay there again! Thank you!!! :)

We were looking for a place that could accomodate a snowmobile vacation. Marielle's place was excellent, and her responsiveness and helpfulness was appreciated making our trip wonderful. The air BnB's large backyard was excellent for snowmobiles and trailers, and the apartment was so comfortable after a day of riding. We look forward to returning in the future!

This was our second trip to Robin & Fred’s cabin, which we had been looking forward to all year! The trip in was lovely; the trail is well marked and the scenery is beautiful. The cabin was cozy for our frosty mornings (it’s such a luxury to have nice dry kindling and wood prepared for us!). We loved exploring around the lake and relaxing with the sauna and lake swims. Thank you for hosting us!

Cabin in the Cedars was exceptional. Comfortable and cozy. We loved watching the freighters and a couple tugboats go by. It was perfect for my good friend and I to hang out and catch up. So quiet! We slept very well in the comfortable beds and we had everything we needed in the kitchen! We explored all of the island and the cabin was a great starting and ending point. We already are planning to return in the spring/summer

It was our second time here and it was just as nice as the first time. we had a wonderful long weekend on the water and relaxing by the fire!

Loved the area, the views were stunning and the hot sauna added that special touch that made this stay unique and well worth it. The owner was friendly with staff on site for any issues and help with the sauna. They even provided a cute valentines gift for us. Will come again.

Elizabeth was tremendously helpful at every opportunity. The property is absolutely beautiful and very accurately advertised. It was truly a treat to stay here, I would highly recommend!
