This place really has a great view. You can see some of Sintras amazing castles from the back yard ( if its not foggy, which is common in this area). The location is very peaceful, great running trails ( lots of hills) and a functional grill. If you have a car it’s always parking available on the street. The house had everything we needed and would definitely come back if we would stay in Sintra again.

Our group wanted to stay outside of the city and we found this fantastic beach house 25 minutes outside of Lisbon. Easy to go into the city for the day if you’d like. However there are great restaurants and a beautiful beach to relax at in Costa de Caparica. The host is extremely responsive and helpful, and the home was perfect for our group of 14. I couldn’t recommend this place more!

Sparkling clean accommodation in a quiet location with shopping in the immediate vicinity, including a bakery with wood-burning stove. For coffee or beer in the "village square" we immediately found contact with the locals. Our main destination was Lisbon; with the ferry crossing over hourly, we found the apartment to be a good starting point. It is advisable to plan the return trip well, as the distances in Lisbon - whether on foot or by public transport - have been underestimated by us. For 7 euros, you can solve a day ticket at the metro stations, which is valid on all trams (including the historical ones), bus lines and subways. Such a beautiful place in a great town. We really enjoyed staying in the middle of everything and exploring in the morning and evenings when things were less busy. Patricia has the place very well stocked with great towels, robes, etc!

We had a great stay here, it was perfect for our family vacation. The house is beautiful and very well taken care of, with spacious bedrooms, a large family room and well-equipped kitchen. The garden and pool were also lovely - private and quiet and a great place to hang out. The beach and train station were both a short walk, and Estoril is well-situated for trips to Lisbon and Cascais or to explore towns along the coast. Catarina was a fantastic host and Dona Gilda helped with anything we needed during the stay.

Cozy and nice accommodation, we felt at home. Well-equipped kitchen and nice patio. Have only positive things to say about the accommodation, please come back there the next time you visit Portugal . The villa was a bit outside Lisbon but it was easy to transport with the help of Bolt and there was a good shopping center nearby.

Impeccable exterior for this kind of rental, sun, swimming pool, terrace, fireplace-barbecue, house "like at home" with everything you need to live there, well equipped with household electronics, quiet despite the "Portuguese" dogs who often bark at night but almost not in our case, quiet in the neighborhood, the market 100m from the house and supermarkets that are not very far either, my favorite beach (Princesa) 5 minutes by car.

Fantastic find. Quiet neighborhood mixed with locals. Easy walk to tourist areas. There was lots of daylight which helped with the jet lag. Great host and great stay.

What can I say “Wow” 🤩From start to finish a really lovely experience. Great communication before , during and after our stay . The house is absolutely stunning with a beautiful pool . Everything you could possibly want is provided . I loved the booklet that we could download with all the necessary information of the house , amenities and local area ie shops restaurants etc . We were 4 adults and 3 children and there was so much space for us all . Short walk to the beach with play park and nice bars and restaurants. Bus to Sintra for a nice day out and very inexpensive. Thankyou Ana for our amazing stay . 🥰

We had a great stay at Alfonso’s place. The location was good, only 10/15 mins from the airport and then 10/15 mins in an uber to the center. Ubers are very cheap in Lisbon so a great way to get around. Near Alfonso’s place there are plenty of restaurants and a really nice strip of restaurants called LX Factory. The apartment was clean and homely and Alfonso was a great hospitable host.

This truly is a hilltop gem. Modern yet, homely place in a secluded setting with breathtaking, extensive views of the mountains and coast. Our daughter moved picking fresh salad and herbs from the vegetable garden and the place is beautifully compact with great WiFi. Cascais centre is 10 minutes drive and our favourite restaurant is 5 mins away (5 sentidos). Sandy beach is walking distance or a short drive. Petter was very accommodating. Allowed a later checkout and fully understanding of our very exceptional circumstances. He went out of his way to make our stay perfect. Muito obrigado!

I had a wonderful 6 night stay at Cristina's Place. Cristina and her husband were very gracious and allowed me to arrive early. The location was absolutely perfect. Access to public transport was easy and available. Supermarkets and other necessaries were just steps away. The apartment was comfortable with a complete kitchen. A very nice stay!

We went a few days with the family at the end of the year and it was excellent. The house is very large and comfortable for a family. Communication with the host was smooth all the time. I hope we can repeat in the summer to take advantage of the pool. Thank you.

A friendly reception and a quirky house with lots of character. A great place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of Sintra, but perfect if you have a car and like to self cater.

The house was located in a very quiet area which i loved. The house is very pretty and smells very nice. The house was spotless in every corner. I will for sure recommend and return.

It was lovely to meet Judite when she warmly welcomed me at the Airbnb. She and Sara had kindly left fruit, croissants, milk and an array of teas and coffees in the kitchenette which was well equipped and spotless as was the shower room. There was always lots of hot water. The bed was very comfortable and the area was very quiet at night for a good night’s sleep. I enjoyed breakfast on the terrace and sometimes at the table in the room. It was very near the supermarket and a cafe and a short walk to the beach. The train station was also within walking distance. I had a wonderful time and would definitely stay there again.

A good place for a short stay. After going downstairs, walk 20 meters to the 778 and 703 bus stops, and it is very convenient to go to the subway station Campo Grante to transfer to the yellow line and the green line. We lived there for a week. On the day of check-in, we told João that we were not used to blankets and needed quilts. He bought new quilts the next day. So, later guests will know that when you use quilts, it starts with us.

Small cottage very comfortable, quiet and very functional. It feels very comfortable very quickly. Reversible air conditioning allows for good heat in the winter. The outdoor spaces are actually the huge garden of the owners who live next door. The terrace is covered with a gas table and grill and the garden is beautiful with these beautiful Strelitzia (in bloom in February!). Unfortunately, it was too bad for us to use the pool.
