Lake house vacation rentals in Alexandria

The cabin was very up to date with all the things you needed for a vacation. The property was very clean. Loved being able to use the outside water toys they had. We brought a pontoon and there was plenty of room to beach it on shore or tie to the dock. We felt right at home here. Only down fall is the resort down the beach, Lakeshore is not friendly at all and can make you feel like you are breaking the law with them watching you constantly. The owners of the resort across the street, Buck Point were so friendly. We bought gas and a few other items over there and they even borrowed us a pack-n-play as we forgot one. All in all the cabin and hosts were great! We would definitely rebook here.

We traveled to Dent for a sibling and spouse reunion. There were 15 adults and 1 child. There was more than enough room for our group. One bedroom went unused. There was lots of seating inside and out. No need to bring lawn chairs. We ate every meal at the house. It had all the kitchen gear needed to cook, bake and grill. We rented their pontoon and used it frequently for leisurely rides around Silent Lake and for fishing. It was mid-September, so we were often the only boat on the lake. There we several float items in the garage which we didn't use but were available to us. We grocery shopped at the Perham Central Market 22 min from the home. We reached out to the host once during our stay with a question and they responded quickly. Family was all in agreement that we would go back. Great central location for my family that came from Montana, Illinois, Wisconsin and Nebraska. There are more good things I would say but feedback space is limited. I would recommend this home.

Chelsea’s home was perfect! Spotless, clean and very comfortable. Nice quiet area with beautiful view of the lake. We liked how new the property is, comfortable rooms, great kitchen and being able to grill outside. Using the fire pit in the evening was a great way to end the day.

We had a great stay the house was as described. The kids enjoyed the game room with ping pong and Wii. The setting by the lake was queit and beautiful.

We had a group of 9 of us and we were all very comfortable here. Very lovely and spacious home on the lake. Beautiful scenery out the balcony windows. Beautiful Sunsets and Sunrises. The location is very close to New London and Spicer. Very easy to get too. Plenty of space for parking. We enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub - both soooo nice! We also did a shopping and eating day in New London, what a cute little town. Great shopping and eating! The host is very friendly, welcoming, responsive, and accommodating! Would 10 out of 10 recommend!

This beautiful lakeside home was perfect for our family visit. We only had four staying there but it easily could have accommodated twice that number. The house and area were so comfortable it made me wish we could have stayed longer. Very much recommend!

The neighborhood was very quiet during the day. At night, so easy to fall asleep. Love the screened porch. Perham is a fun town to visit, lots of cute shops, Jean's nursery, Common Grounds Coffee and the Bay Window fabric store....something for everyone. Lake is very clean.

This was a perfect space for a friend board game weekend. The house was spacious for everyone and the backyard and lake view was beautiful.

It was a great place for me and my kids fishing and boating was a fun time. Tim was always available if needed. House was very arranged for our visit. I would definitely rent again and refer someone to there place.

Nice space and great host. Just didn’t luck out with good weather so didn’t get to enjoy many of the amenities. Would stay again!

Perfect for a local staycation for a group of friends who wanted to craft and be away from home.

We stayed in this beautifully done new home for the weekend and hosted family dinner one evening. It was cozy and lovely environment especially with the fire place. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and serve our family, plus plenty of coffee! I loved the open floor plan and high ceilings! Would love to come back in the fall or summer and enjoy the screened in patio with extra dinning and seating space. Would stay again!

My husband and I spent Labor Day weekend with our adult children and families at this beautiful home on Games Lake. We enjoyed the dock, as my husband was able to keep our boat on the water the whole weekend connected to the dock vs having to bring the boat on and off the water each day. We spent time around the fire pit, playing yard games, had plenty of seating for meals, read books, and played games (which are provided at the house). I had asked the host if they had pitchers and cookie sheets at the home, and she made sure we had what we needed. We are thankful for a relaxing stay at this peaceful home :)

We very much enjoyed our stay! Place was great and had everything we needed! Our family thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation. The house was very clean and had everything we needed! Thank you for letting us into your home! One thing I noticed is the discrepancy on the check in time. When I booked the reservation it said 3pm however I believe the actual time was 4pm. Denise was very communicative regarding this and we worked out the details.

We had our first-ever gathering of this type at Jason’s, and it was great. There are many different indoor and outdoor spaces for people to gather in smaller groups. We had several rainy days, and being indoors was fine, even with a bunch of kids! Everything was tastefully decorated, the bedding and towels were wonderful, and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen had lots of dishes and silverware for a large group. There are 38 steps down to the dock, and the beach is a bit rocky, but there is a nearby public beach. Jason was very responsive to our needs. We would stay again!

This was exactly what my family and I needed. The place was great, loved not having the road between the cabin and beach, which is the norm just a few houses down. I told Byron the only things I’d recommend is having the deck/patio sprayed off and cleaner since thats the focal point of the place and where everyone hangs out, especially since I have a small son thats playing out there. He seemed to agree and I would highly recommend the place! He went above and beyond to help as well. Thanks Byron!

The beach, the house and lake where beautiful. Beach was well maintained. Lake was clear with little to no weeds by shore. House had plenty of room and was well maintained. Close neighbors but still a nice location. The only thing that I wish they would have had was the Lilly pad. It was not a deal breaker just would have been something else for the kids to do. Also an umbrella on the deck would have been nice. Otherwise our family enjoyed our stay. Very relaxing and fun!
