Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Albany

Location was incredibly convenient, and accommodations were exactly as advertised. Nice to stay somewhere that feels so homey! The iron was missing, which I needed for a dress outfit, and host was so quick to respond and had an iron delivered that evening. It was an unexpected and much appreciated gesture, thank you! Would definitely stay here again!!

It was a quiet remote location and offered a peaceful stay perfect for my intentions. Nearest grocery or restaurant was about 15-30 min drive so pick up what you need before you get there or be prepared to drive out for goods. Standard rules of taking out the garbage and taking off the sheets and starting the dishwasher which i completely disagree with to begin with but this place’s rules were simple enough and not too extravagant so it was fine to do. The recommendations book was helpful. The door lock can be a little confusing and I do wish there was a blind on the main door as it was glass and at night a little unsettling that the inside was completely visible from outside but it is not a place you would get any pedestrians or anyone really who wasn’t meant to be there.

We really enjoyed the place! It was clean and beautiful. The only thing was the heat was off when we got there and it took several hours to get the place warmed up. But everything else was great. The yard was very large and fully fenced. The house was big enough to accommodate our large group with room to spread out. The host was very responsive and we were able to check in early.

Connie was very responsive and her house was perfect for our Thanksgiving family gathering.

My stay at Kevin’s place was great! The space was roomier than I had expected. Plenty of room for two guest. I loved how quiet and private it was. Much better than the hotel that I used for one night nearby. It was a perfect fit for my needs while visiting relatives nearby. I will definitely try to stay again when I return to the area. Thank you for your hospitality, Kevin.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Clean and easy to find. We considered staying a second night but was already booked.

Kristin's house perfect for our stay in Salem. The house was beautiful, clean, and had plenty of space. Our group consisted of six adults and four children. Kristin was responsive to our questions and requests, and provided what we needed for the 19 month old twins in our group. There were lots of books and toys for the twins, as well as for the older children. We had a great stay and highly recommend Orchard Heights Escape!

I wanted to plan a surprise Birthday/ Valentine’s Day getaway for my wife & stumbled upon this gorgeous offering! It had everything we needed. My plan was to drop off balloons & gifts 1 day prior but we were expecting an ice storm so, that plan was thwarted. Regardless, Mary was willing to help me with that in order to help create the magic. Plan B! I called the kids & my in-laws & had them get there before us to setup the balloons, gifts & cake. Since the place is pet friendly we also got to see our favorite little fur baby! When we got there my wife was very happily surprised to see the reception committee! She had no idea anyone was coming, let alone where we were staying. We walked into a beautifully & cozy decorated living room. Immediately to the left was the pool table. Birthday music was already playing. The bedrooms were very spacious & clean. The bathroom was also very spacious. The surprise was a huge success! Everyone had an awesome time & we all agreed- 5 stars!

This place is amazing it’s just very tricky to find. It wasn’t until I drove around for about 30 mins that I finally realized there were more instructions with the actual address in them.

What a wonderful time we had at this lovely location; this is truly a truly a great place to stay, with very communicative hosts that helped to make the whole process that much easier. These kind folks and their exceedingly pleasant home are very, very highly recommended by my best friend, my boyfriend, pupper dog, and myself. Thank you guys for being marvelous!

This place is absolutely adorable. It was quiet and peaceful. I wish I’d had more time to spend there and I will definitely stay here again. The whole town is cute and charming and Priscilla’s place fit right in with that.

Secluded yet very short distance to everything you could need or want, including beautiful nature walks, hiking trails, and low trafficked neighborhood with wide paved rolling hills to “get in your daily steps”- if that’s your thing like it is with my dog- all available right out of your front door- this place is a true, storybook like, treasure. Absolutely loved my stay here, on this special piece of land, that’s so visibly loved and cared for, in the beautiful apartment, above the inspirational place where people gather to build beautiful meaningful things in community. Ashley and Joey were both welcoming and warm hosts, very responsive and accommodating as my needs changed they were gracious and kind, above seeming to have already thought of everything you could need or want in their well stocked and furnished apartment. I’d say this is a Restorative, grounding, and even inspirational place to stay, play, read, rest and/or recover 🤍 my dog and I loved this stay.

Clean and comfortable living space, had no issues checking in and checking out and Norma was more than helpful and responsive when I had any questions or concerns. I would most definitely stay here again in the future.

The kitchen and backyard leading up to the river was amazing. Lots of open space which helped us feel comfortable and settle right in. Older home but maintained well.
