Cottage vacation rentals in Alabama

Came to take our 8.5 year old dog to see mountains. The Garden Cottage was squeaky clean, comfy cozy, and fantastic. The flowers and plants were gorgeous; I felt like a hobbit in the shire (high compliment). We cooked every night and never were without. Excellent WiFi, quiet area. The rooms don’t have ceilings so you can hear the TV In the living room or room next to you but honestly, yall will all be tuckered out. It gave it a summer camp vibe and each room had its own fans that would drown out noise if you wanted it too (plus AC). We will certainly be back And sharing this gem with our friends.

We loved this place so much and will definitely be back!! It was so peaceful and the lake is beautiful!! Loved the fish light at night and the fire ring!! Everything was just as described

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was very neat and the hot tub was a great bonus. Also, the whole area is private and cozy. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Claudia did a great job of staying in touch with us when needed.

This place was exactly what we were looking for. Quiet and secluded for a laid back weekend. This property is everything that made AirBnB great when it was started. It felt like home. We had everything we needed and just had to show up with our groceries. hopefully we will be able to come again in the summer and take advantage of the lake!

I highly recommend staying at this lake house. If you are looking for a place to relax and have all the things you need to have a wonderful time then this is the place for you. Will’s hospitality and communication was the best I’ve ever experienced with an AIRBNB stay. The pictures of the home look amazing online but when you get to the lake house it is even more beautiful.

An absolutely outstanding location! The cottage is wonderfully secluded, providing a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. Inside, everything was impeccably clean and well-maintained. I must note, the king-size bed in the main bedroom was incredibly comfortable and you need to experience the master bathroom shower! The hot tub was perfect! Spotless and well taken care of. You can unwind in the hot tub while enjoying the sounds birds and nature. Amber exemplifies the perfect host! She was very responsive and courteous, checking in via the AirBNB chat to make sure we had everything we needed. Our entire stay was flawless! We were sad to leave and return home, but we can't wait to book again! Thanks for having us!

Located by the magnolia River in the headwaters. We stayed in late March, which is peak azalea season. The neighborhood in bloom may be the most beautiful location I have ever stayed in. The house is great. It feels comfortable. It is private.

This is a beautiful house everything is amazing to look at my family spent hours looking at everything that was on the wall my kids had a amazing time to with all the coloring stuff and pages I just want to say thanks and I will be back ❤️

If you're traveling to Montgomery, Prattville, Millbrook, or the surrounding areas, don't miss this cozy cabin and its great host, Josh. I had a business meeting with the State of Alabama and needed a place to stay. Compared to a home of your own, without doors and elevator noise, hotel prices are a dream come true. The cottage was lovely and very clean. Josh is very responsive to your needs. I have stayed in many Airbnb's and I have never experienced a host to respond as quickly as Josh. You must check out this lovely cottage.

Wow! David & Lilly’s cottage was exactly what my family needed. We spent 3 nights and enjoyed the comfort and privacy of this home. My son loved playing the ukelele and my daughter loved having the screened porch day-bed to read Harry Potter on. Our golden retriever loved getting in the creek and woods behind the home. We enjoyed cooking together snd were thankful for how well-stocked the kitchen was with anything you could think of. We enjoyed finding board games to play and books to look at. The host had a sweet welcome note for our family and treats for our dog. My family enjoyed visiting Desoto State Park and doing the ropes course/zip-line. Highly recommend this cottage!

This was our second stay with David and just like the first, it was impeccable! We made a last minute trip and David afforded us a beautiful home with full amenities and not one thing was out of place. David is kind and always willing to help with anything! This is a permanent spot for us and we hope to be back over and over again.

1st time View- It has a magical view of the Bay. You can enjoy it from the living room, kitchen and the back deck. House- Kitchen is stunning and I just wanted to wrap it up and bring it home with me 😂. Of course that is impossible. Kitchen was full of all that you need for a perfect trip. There is a full size frig which we ate at "home" 90% of the time. Both of the beds were comfortable and our 26 year old son said he needed to buy a new mattress when we gets home because of how he slept. Showers - our shower had 2 amazing shower heads with different knobs so if you wanted to share which is big enough you can have your own temperatures. Other shower our son said it was great. House has plenty of room. 3 tvs in the house. Fire pit and the grill we used and was happy we had it. Perfect to sit there drinking some wine watching Hubby work. 😂 Full size washer and dryer with a sink inside. Cindy was amazing and easy to talk to and very helpful

We had a great stay in Dauphin Island! Loved how centrally located Karin's place was to everything on the island. We brought our bikes and had easy access to both east and west ends of the island and were able to walk to several restaurants right from the house as well as the beach! The house is located on a very quiet street, was clean and spacious and provided everything we needed to work (great internet) and cook/enjoy the island for the week!

We enjoyed the stay and were able to back in our 7x16 trailer. House was clean and so nice to relax after a long day at Barber Motorsports track. Loved the animals and of course Lulu who was there to greet us when we drive up! Enjoyed playing some basketball with the kids too 😊 Our first Airbnb and a great experience. I absolutely adore Homer’s place. This is our second time staying and it was lovely. We have already booked our stay for the fall. The bed in the master is so comfy, the kitchen is super stocked and we were so grateful for that. The fenced in yard is amazing for fur babies and the dock is to die for. Homer is what every Airbnb host should aspire to be. Sweet neighbors, quiet safe neighborhood. Absolute perfection at an affordable price. Until next time! 💛

Victoria was a wonderful host! She was incredibly responsive through the app and answered all my questions. We escaped to camp velvet for a long weekend on a babymoon getaway before our first child arrives this summer. The home was gorgeous and the scenery was incredible! We brought our 3 year old Weimaraner and he had the time of his life running through the woods and exploring the trails with us. We already can’t wait to come back!

Kari’s place is awesome. We stayed there for a fishing tournament. There was plenty of room to park truck and boat in driveway. This is a great place to stay if you are looking for a place to stay on the water!

Beautiful, peaceful spot on the water. They have a boat ramp that we were able to use with 20’ plate boat.Dolphins swimming at end of private dock. Nice fire pit. Spent plenty of time on water floating with dolphins swimming around and under boat. Beautiful weather. Was inside only for showers, sleeping, and eating, the outside was too great to miss. Driveway is good for a morning walk, if you enjoy nature. Screened in porch is where we spent most time we were “inside”. Nice rocking chairs. Sunsets were amazing!! We would recommend Maggie and Marks place, and would love to return some day.

Teresa was so sweet and a great host. The Airbnb was very clean and nice. Beds all very comfortable! Would highly recommend to everyone.

I cant say enough about this rental and Mrs Jane! It was so peaceful, quiet, the place was very clean, came in to a goodie basket that was left for us, and last but not least, the kindness Mrs Jane extended to us all. I highly recommend this rental and you won't be disappointed with this sweet lady! We will be back and look forward to it!

This place is just beautiful! It is so serene and not one detail was missed. Everything is perfectly clean, decorated and labeled. The beds and pillows were super comfortable too. It felt just like home to us! We really enjoyed our mornings on the porch watching the wildlife. We even saw deer and an adorable groundhog! Check in was a breeze with our great host! Would absolutely love to visit again and will definitely recommend to anyone we know heading to this area!

Amazing stay in the Trottage! Perfect for a weekend at the lake with our two young children. Plenty to do and very relaxing with amazing lake access and views! We will definitely be back!
