Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Aghios Emilianos

Lovely Airbnb with a gorgeous view over Hydra, right to the ocean. We loved staying here and spending time on the patio. We got some great recommendations from the host too which were all great! We would absolutely stay here again.

It is a special place, homey and authentically Greek. It felt like a home we'd be coming to forever. Βουλγαρης’ arranged a horse and guide to meet us, take us to the home, and let us in. It has 2 outdoor seating areas with lovely breezes. It is not modern or updated; it doesn't have a dishwasher, or updated bathrooms, but that is part of its charm. It has a lovely view up the hillside. About a 10 minute walk down to Idra town along lovely cobbled walkways by beautiful homes, flowers, and shops. We enjoyed seeing all the cats. October was a nice time to visit, quite quiet, and we were still able to take a dip in the sea. It was a perfect place to end our vacation--A few days in paradise.

It was safe , clean and comfy

We stayed a week over the New Year and had a wonderful week exploring the Island. While most restaurants etc were shut there were still places to eat and supermarkets and bakeries were all open. We felt privileged to experience the island while it was so quite. We very much enjoyed staying in Eleni’s place. Great value. Comfortable bed and an electric heater and ac units available for additional heating when required. Eleni was very responsive to any query. The days were bright blue with temperatures ranging up to 15 degrees. Excellent for walking. We really enjoyed having breakfast in the cafe Kam-In each morning just down the steps on way to Kamini. Hope we can come back.

The place with the best views in Poros. The house is amazing and has absolutely all the comforts for a family. It's wonderful to see the sunrise and moonrise from the comforts of your bed and to have dinner on the wonderful terrace. Extremely hospitable hosts who, in a crisis situation we had during our vacation were ready to help us immediately. We loved it so much that we travelled all the way back to Poros next year just to be in this wonderful place again.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Konstantinos’s house. The location is in many ways ideal- close enough to the port to make everything convenient but just removed enough to feel quiet and private. This is clearly the home of a cultivated family, with a collection of books and objects that suggest a refined eye. The house may not be for everyone: there are very steep interior stairs (which don’t have to be used), and no stand-up shower. But otherwise it was a comfortable and pleasant place with a real sense of special-ness.

My daughter and I spent two beautiful weeks in february in Ioannis’ home. He was always there for us, when we arrived with his beautiful donkey Pénélope, and he was also there to help us when we caught the boat back. In the meantime, he was always available to answer questions in a warm and kind way and had very nice gestures. Although the temperatures were sometimes low, the house has a good heating. And for the sunny days, the terrace under the lemon tree is great. I highly highly recommend!

You want to withdraw from crowds? A shopping centre is a few kilometres away (main point of reference upon arrival). Fill the fridge and relax. Should you wish to explore the area, Porto Cheli is a 5min drive away, 10-15mins to Costa where you can get a boat to Spetses and about 15mins to Ermioni. So, although not in walking distance from the main nearby centres/beaches, it is centrally located though you will definitely need a car to move around. Either way, parking space is plentifull and the house is then easily accessible while all rooms open to the pool deck. Views are stunning. A decent sized pool with variable depth, cleaned regularly, overlooks the mediterranean garden. A large table by the pool deck is where you'll most probably be spending your afternoons and evenings. Shaded outdoor sitting areas, outdoor and indoor ceiling fans and efficient a/c in the bedrooms essential for summer. I guess it's a case of elegant simplicity over superficiality. Your choice.

We spent a memorable week in the Villa Athena. The place, both indoor and outdoor, is very spatious and clean. The terrace and the swimming pools were actually much better that what we could expected from the current pictures on the app. This was a really good surprise. The location is a bit remote and the access not so easy (you need a car) but it totally worths it. You'll enjoy the amazing view without disturbance from the neighbors. From the villa, you can also easily access to small and non-tourist beaches by walking 5 to 10mins. Minors inconvenients: - no drinkable water from tap - check in and check out timing did not occurred as expected

Dianna kindly met us at the Port and organised taxis up to the house, which was a great start to our 2 week family holiday. Dianna also left us a delicious local cake which we enjoyed immensely!Villa Cariso is a beautifully designed modern house, creating the perfect layout for family groups. There was plenty of space for communal meals poolside or on balconies with amazing sea views, whilst at the same time the clever arrangement of 5 en-suite bedrooms over 3 levels provided privacy if required. All modern conveniences were provided and worked super efficiently. Both Dianna and Stamatios were attentive, friendly and very helpful. The pool was heaven, we also loved Agii Anargiri beach, travelling there sometimes by boat or moped or taxi, town beaches are also good. Bouboulina and Spetses Museum are well worth a visit to understand Spetses history. The hillside walk above the house provides spectacular views overlooking both sides of the Island. Big thanks! We hope to return.

This was hands down the best Airbnb experience we've ever had! The property exceeded all of our expectations and was even more stunning in person than it appears in the photos. It’s beautifully designed and equipped with everything you could possibly need and more – from kitchen essentials to entertainment options. The daily cleaning service and bed-making truly made it feel like we were staying in a high-end hotel, yet we still had all the comfort and privacy of being in a home. We couldn't have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious and stress-free getaway!

We were in Hydra for a friend's wedding/honeymoon and had the pleasure of staying here. The villa is spectacular, set across 4 different levels, its great for friends/family staying together who want some privacy. Views from the different terraces are stunning. the pool was fresh (Mid-Sept) but great to dive into having walked up the steps. Great book collections for holiday reads etc. Shops with all basic needs are around 2-3 min walk away. I only met Daniela briefly but she was on hand for anything we needed and have us a heads up when the gardener / cleaner was coming in.

This was really a little bit of paradise by the sea! The views were fantastic, the whole place tranquil, perfect for some rest and relaxation. There is such a wonderful housekeeper who went out of her way to make sure we were happy, yet not intrusive. Eleni was also always communicating efficiently and effectively through Airbnb. We were slightly out of season, so the swimming pool was not in use, but that was no problem as the sea is right there and beautifully clear and warm in October! The water jetty was perfect for us to catch a taxi over to Spetses for dinner, what an experience!

Everything about the house is magical. We loved the old architecture, the location, proximity to swimming, everything. You need to know that it's quite an upward journey from the port, so be ready to climb about 300 steps in total to get to the house. The good thing is that there are mules available to take your bags and you can take your time on the cute walk up. There is a nice mini supermarket about 8 minutes walking from the house, excellent restaurants and swimming only 5 minutes away. The views are breathtaking. We absolutely loved it and area already excited about coming back next year!

Remote, a little rustic, and idyllic. For those looking for peace of mind!!!

Hi Anestis and family, We thank you for letting us spend 2 weeks in your great house. It is actually as the previous speakers have written - the photos can't be nearly as described by it. A huge property where you can sand and always discover something new. A unique barbeque place that is extremely cozy and where everything has been thought of. In the house you feel at home. You have such small things there that make a stop to you and your life. But the most amazing thing is actually the view! A dream and definitely not to capture a photo of the world. You have to see and recognize such beauty. We have taken these with us in our hearts and thank you for everything. Kati, Steffen and Jürgen :)

The house is great , the location is great and beautiful . If I should find a drawback , I would say the condition of the streets in the area , but this is for the whole of Argolida and of course not the owner . It has a nice view , it is clean and beautiful and big plus the existence of a barbecue if you have a talent for baking .

A beautiful house in a quiet neighborhood. Easy walking to the Port and all the beaches. Enjoyed all the outdoor spaces . Tom and Vittoria were easy to communicate with and available to make arrangements for the donkeys etc.

We had a great week staying at Catherine's little house in Kamini. The house is small but cozy and equipped with everything you might need during your stay on Hydra and also offers the possibility to cook your own meals. The little terrace is nice to enjoy breakfast or dinner outside before the summer heat hits. It is about 5mins to the nearest supermarket and 10-15min to the city and port of Hydra, so you can enjoy the calmness of the island away from tourist crowds at the port, while still close to restaurants and cafes. As common in Hydra, there are quite some stairs on the way, however Catherine organized a donkey transport for us to get our luggage from the port to the house and vice versa. One of the most beautiful beaches of the island, Kamini beach, is only 8mins from the house, but also other beaches such as Vlichos and Avlaki are within walking distance and easy to reach. Catherine was very caring & made sure we had a pleasant stay with everything we needed. Recommended!

Litsa has been a great host. Google maps gave me confusing directions and Litsa was very helpful. The place was clean and had privacy. The location is a little away from shops and restaurants - need a car to access. For me was ideal for what I needed.

We were hosted very well. The charming owners are discreet and available if needed. They gave us fresh figs, delicious eggs and vegetables from the garden. The house is well equipped, you can cook there easily. The beach is a 5-minute walk away. There's a very wild side where you can swim naked and a more coveted side with umbrellas and sun loungers accessible for free. Coffee shops and restaurant by the sea are a 10-minute walk away. Beautiful place.
