Wonderful place tucked away by a lake. Very cosy and has everything you need. If you visit in winter the road can get slippery so make sure you are well prepared!

Nice house with walking distance to the ski slope. We were five children between the ages of five and nine. It took about ten minutes to walk in regular shoes. Nice to bring sledges to pull skis and other equipment in. Would recommend.

The view - no photo of the world can capture this beautiful nature. The house is so nice and quiet even if you have neighbors. Waking up here is dreamy. The apartment is super nice, clean and there is a lot of space for private things. Communication was flawless and check-in was very easy! I think it won't be our last stay here ! Thank you :)

We stayed with two families, 4 adults and 4 children, in this beautiful house. We felt very comfortable. The house was handed over to us very clean and the amenities were also top. There are enough plates, pans, etc. We stayed at the house over New Year's Eve and got both very cold days and some snow. The house is very well prepared for this. Despite the hillside location, the path to the house is also easily accessible in snow, as it is cleared by a snow blower several times a day. The sauna and hot tub are real highlights even in winter. We explored the surroundings for walking and sledding. We had a really great few days and would be happy to come back to this beautiful house.

We had a very nice stay in this beautiful house in a very nice environment. There is still construction next door, but we were kindly warned, and it wasn’t too bothersome. Overall the hosts very accomodating to our special requests (we decided to rent the whole place instead just half once we arrived).

This was by far the best trip my group and I have ever been on. The Airbnb is not only beautiful but also extremely peaceful and well equipped to keep you busy! We went skiing and husky sledding near by. Sauna, hot tub and ice plunge in the lake. Kiki is quick, responsive and so kind. Truly a 10/10 Airbnb host! Thank you Kiki 🙏🏼

There were three of us. The cottage is really suitable for 4 people. Everything neat and cozy. All the necessary is present (cheese slicer brought your own). We didn't know there was a freezer as well. The area is beautiful, especially for walking. We also visited fun (small) museums and swam in lakes. When the weather is nice, there is plenty to do and sit outside (terrace floor and canopy). But inside it was also very cozy.

Very nice cabin! Very practical solution for accommodation in connection with a visit to summerland. The host was very nice and provided simple and clear instructions at both check in and check out. It was somewhat dusty, but not dirty and it was felt completely inside as it is a cabin. Would definitely recommend renting this cabin :)

The house is situated on a beautiful plot of land adjacent to the lake, within a short walk of the nearest ski lift in winter and right next to fishing in summer. Theres plenty of parking and large space for entertainment. The host is friendly and swift to reply and address questions. Theres everything in the kitchen needed to cater for meals, the entertainment room is great for some inside chillax, and the jacuzzi was a highlight for both kids and adults.

Fantastic host and great cabin with lovely views of Stavtjørn and the mountains. The cabin is perfect as a starting point for skiing and hiking in nature. Cozy with fireplace and fire pit in the cabin. This is a place we want to go back to.

We were on tembuilding and enjoyed two days, despite bad weather. The place is suitable for many, even if you have to be inside. Everything was tidy and ready when we arrived, and we have got quick answers to what we were wondering about ahead of time. Have already decided to come back

We booked this airbnb after we had been at a big scouting event for 2 weeks. The airbnb is spacious, looks neat and is wonderful to relax for a while. There is a sauna and a hot tub which is also wonderful to use. Close to the Airbnb is a via ferrata and a beautiful swimming spot where you can walk to (half an hour walk). We really enjoyed our stay at this airbnb

Lovely apartment close to ski slopes. Somewhat unstable wifi. Great host who responds quickly. 2nd time we had rented the apartment.

It was a nice, calm place, and a good „basecamp“ for skiing activities. The window to the goats and the cute cats were highlights :)

Our family found that peaceful hygge feeling that is found in traditional self catering norwegian cabins with a few perks of modern living such as a hottub and indoor sauna If you’re looking to unwind this might be a good bet, it worked for us

We had a wonderful stay at Øystein’s cozy cottage! Øystein was incredibly friendly and quick to respond to all our questions, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. The house itself was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The surroundings were absolutely stunning, with beautiful nature views that made our time even more special. My family and I highly recommend staying here.

Thank you for the most wonderful stay. This is a magical cabin not to be missed - the hosts are fantastic; so friendly and helpful! The cabin itself is so cozy and comfortable with everything you could need (more than we expected!!). The area is amazing - beautiful sunsets/sunrises, great skiing just up the hill! Also be sure to go into Bø to visit Bø Brot Bakery it was amazing! Could not recommend this spot more, we had an unforgettable stay :)

Well worth a visit if you're planning a trip to the Stavtjørn area. Very nice and service minded hosts. The place is great and has lots of room for guests. A good collection of table-top games and dvd's as well. Thanks for a great stay :)
