Vacation rentals in Abrunhosa-a-Velha

Great place! I really enjoyed my stay. Everything was clean and cosy, and the place is set off from the main street, so it's quite quiet. As I stayed in early February, it did get cold at night in the main entryway and the bathroom, however there's a heating system in the kitchen/living room and the bedroom, so those stayed nice and warm. Vitor was a great host, friendly, responsive, and was very flexible in letting me check-out later! I also appreciated being able to store my luggage after my check-out (the storage place is a little room attached to the property with a security code on the door, so I felt safe leaving my stuff there). Probably my only issue is that the property is located uphill, which was tiring when carrying a lot of heavy luggage like I was (also could make inaccessible to those with mobility issues). That said, I think it was worth it and would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Coimbra!

Otima Casa, my family and I were in an 8, everything was perfect, we would stay 2 nights, but it was so good that we decided to stay longer, we will definitely be back.😊

The villa is amazing! Plenty of bedrooms with storage and enough space. Numerous bathrooms. Very spacious living and dining. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need (coffee machine, utensils, toaster, etc.) The playroom is a huge plus for rainy days. The pool is cold, but perfect for cooling off, and once in it is lovely. We had a great vacation at this amazing house! There are beautiful river beaches nearby, beautiful viewpoints too. You have to love calm and nature because there are no big cities within an hour (the closest is Coimbra) but supermarkets 5 min away for shopping;) The house is 1.5 hours from Porto and 2.5 hours from Lisbon, ideal for a day trip:) Thanks to Karen and her spouse for hosting us:) You can book without a second thought!

Beautiful place, stunning views, very yummy breakfast every morning. Carlos is very friendly and helpful. the little cabins are comfortable and perfect for families.

Lovely chalet in such a beautiful area of Portugal. Pedro was a great host, quick to respond to messages and with helpful recommendations of where to eat and visit. We ate at 2 of the local restaurants, Casa do Clube & Varanda da Estrela, both walking distance and both highly recommended. Ski resort and Torre are 15 mins drive. Easy check in at the chalet and all necessary cooking equipment and living equipment provided. Highly recommended stay!

We had a lovely stay here and would highly recommend! The house is very open with lots of space and had everything we needed to be comfortable with all essential amenities. We kept warm and cosy with the log burner and there was also a heater/ air con in the bedroom. Rogerio was so friendly, was great at communicating and gave us local recommendations for the area. The village is a lovely short walk away and has a good cafe. The area is wonderfully peaceful and has great views but was very easy to find and get to. Would definitely recommend staying here!

A quiet, private place, even to rest. A great stay, the view is beautiful. It was all impeccable, I really enjoyed it and recommend it!

Perfect stay, with nothing bad to point out. Both Ms Ana and Mrs who received us were very friendly, attentive and always showed availability. In addition, the house was very clean and properly equipped, also has the balcony with a divine view of the mountains. A repeat experience.
