Vacation rentals with a firepit in Abitibi-Témiscamingue

Wow!! This place is a true hidden gem. Private, clean, spacious and peaceful. Spent most of the time on the dock staring at the beautiful lake, using the SUP and cooking in the spacious and well equipped kitchen. You never know exactly what you’re going to get at an airbnb. This FAR exceeded our expectations and we felt so lucky to have found this amazing space!! Thank you Rox for being such a great host!!

Nick's place is very beautiful and cozy. Very clean and organized. Nick was also very pleasant to communicate with and quick to respond. We would definitely be staying there again when working in the area. 100% recommend.

Karlee was an Airbnb host like they used to be! Personable with special added touches. It’s been many years since I’ve had the extras! And we enjoyed that. We travelled with a young child and there were games, colouring and snacks seemingly just for her! We were greeted to snacks and beverages of our own. Home is super well stocked!

This was an amazing stay for us, we used this location to get ready for a wedding! I'd reccomend this spot to any of my friends! Johanna was very responsive and we felt right at home the whole stay

The place is excellent, very clean, beds were comfortable, ample linens and amenities. The property is beautiful with the pool area, hot tub and fireplace. It would make a great getaway during all four seasons.

This Lake Nipissing rental was very much what we were looking for to do an ice fishing outing for 6 mostly retired guys – it was almost directly in from Lonely Island (about 1.5k walk). The actual cottage is very large, and it was nice having 2 ½ baths. The kitchen is very big with a huge island that also works as a pub height dinning area and there are tons of cabinets with all of the kitchen utensils/accessories you’ll need to make great meals. There are a few rough areas, which comes from a lot of use (e.g., trim work, a few chips, dents and worn chairs, shower heads, etc.), but for a northern cottage rental I would say it would be 4 to 4.5 stars and for an ice fishing choice I must give it 5 stars. I will very much consider this location again if we decide to do another ice fishing trip to this location again in the future and if you were doing a non-winter trip, I’m sure this location would be a perfect area with boat access and placement on the water for a large family outing.

Lisa and Al are such amazing hosts, we always feel so welcome and will be returning regularly. This place is literally a slice of Heaven and a must visit. 100 stars if I had the option. Thanks Lisa and Al for a wonderful weekend at your property!!

Such a lovely place to stay at! Apartment is huge , well decorated, comfortable and very clean. Loved the rustic feel, all the while with all amenities one would need.

Where would I even begin? This was by far the best experience I’ve had. The unit exceeded expectations, it really did make you feel at home from the moment you walked in. It is honestly so nice, zero complaints. The host’s were absolutely amazing. They were so responsive to any need I had no matter how big or small, and made everything just so comfortable. I don’t think I’ll ever come across a group quite like them again. I would highly recommend this unit and any other unit listed under the host’s. They made being away from home and the struggles of daily life feel effortless. I am grateful for all they did and accommodated for me. As I said, best experience I’ve had by far.

Our accommodations were perfect! We fished from the dock, used the hot tub, sat around the table for breakfast with everything that was supplied which was perfect. The view was great from the balcony and the yard with the flowers was so beautiful. We all enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for accommodations in Haileybury!

Larry’s place was fantastic, very clean lots of amenities and a great location. Me and a few guys came here for an ice fishing trip that went very well, we all had a great time.

Quinn’s place is exactly as seen in the photos. Beautiful views of Lake Nipissing, and a great dock to enjoy the fall sunsets. Quinn’s attention to many little details (too numerous to mention) was very appreciated and I would definitely recommend this place for anybody wanting a place to stay with a great view. We will be back again, thank you Quinn.

Martine’s place was just as described. Suitable for our family of 4. Clear instructions of expectations and check in. Cleanliness is super important to me as I’m a little “picky” you could say 🤪 it was refreshing to have a host that takes pride in providing a simple, clean and welcoming space. Way better than a hotel stay. At least in my opinion. I love that all of her recommendations for shopping, activities and restaurants are those of local choice to support the community. Everything offered in the home was more than enough to get by from a good selection of kitchenware to toiletries and even laundry. When travelling to the North Bay area I would highly recommend staying there. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your property.

Janice's place was a very comfortable and clean place to stay. With winter starting to set in, the property was even more beautiful with a vista of snow covered trees. This is a perfect place for a unique northern Ontario experience, hearing trains in the distance and wolves answering back. Lots of wildlife on hikes to see and a fire pit to enjoy, if you have time. Our daughter had a great time on the swings as well. Dan and Janice were quick to respond and always ready to help make our stay great in any way they could. Thank you for everything Dan and Janice!

This is the 5th year we have rented Stefano's cottage. I am hard-pressed to find anything negative to say. The cottage is spectacularly beautiful, inside and out. The architecture is decidedly modern, but clearly fits in the surroundings of trees and the lake. Inside it is very cozy with neutral colours and great for either relaxing with a book and a coffee (or a bottle of wine!), a games night or an outdoor BBQ after a swim, a paddle or a hike. It is superbly quiet and a perfect place to get away from it all, yet keep the creature comforts, grocer a short drive; walking trails nearby, lakes are everywhere and the autumn leaves are nothing short of spectacular. Stefano is very accommodating in terms of providing information or answering questions, if any. We love the place so much I am hesitating to give it such a good review for fear of lots of people discovering it - I want to keep it my own hidden gem. But Stefano deserves an excellent review. Thank you Stefano, as always.

This was a wonderful place to stay and certainly one of the best places in Sturgeon Falls. A perfect place for a quiet getaway. Everything you may need is available. A beautiful view and wonderful hosts. We will be back!

This place exceeded all our expectations. The host is phenomenal. His responses were always fast, extremely friendly and understanding. He was very accommodating with our date changes (due to a military move) and made our process super easy. The place is stunning. Even better than the pictures. It’s open, spacious, with lots of modern, high end touches. I have already been recommending this place to all my friends. It’s a must stay- in the winter or summer. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay, beautiful views all around with great trails to walk right off the cabin driveway. We even had some deer run past us on our hike. We enjoyed the cozy space in the cabin, exactly as expected with the accurate pictures Adam took. Adam gave us some recommendations of where to check out in the area, they were great suggestions. Highly recommend asking him for suggestions if you have anything specific you’d like to see. Overall it was an amazing stay, peaceful, beautiful views, cozy cabin, we would definitely go again in a few years.

Beautiful little clean cabin with all the amenities needed to cook all meals you need. Perfect for a couple or two (as long as you are comfortable with sharing a bathroom that is situated between the bedrooms). Would recommend to anyone who'd like to have a getaway from the city with a beautiful view.
