Bring your imagination to life while you hear stories about biggest underground facility in this part of Europe. Fun facts about NASA, Red bull or history of Yugoslavian military and diplomacy will occupy your focus. Country roads are taking us to the abandoned facilities and what used to be basecamp. The experience is planed as a different point of view on my hometown. As we have rich industrial history I would like to take you on time-machine tour where you will see dark and abandoned side of the city but also enjoy in possibilities and ideas of the past times. We will discover together parts that you will never discover folowing the map. Meeting point is "Mc Donalds" in the center of the city from where we are heading trough underground tunnel to the main industrial street in the town. After some informations about the city past and casual talking we will reach the big industrial factory where the real adventure is going to start. Tunnels, abandoned rooms, industrial halls, machines, dusty places and a lot more. You will be living for some time beautiful past of my town and experience different things than casual tourist. Our tour starts from our Jistra kayak location on the eastern side of Cape Kamenjak and after a short briefing we get into our kayaks and start our adventure. We row towards the southern end of Cape Kamenjak along its magical coastline as we make our way towards the breathtaking caves to explore their interior. What follows is the exploration of one of the caves interior with the sun rays illuminating it as they protrude trough the half open ceiling which creates a truly magical atmosphere. After this amazing experience there is waiting us tasty lunch at shadowy interior of Safari bar. There are located 10m cliffs for those who like more adrenaline or you can just enjoy the sun and beautiful view of southernmost place of Istria. Last part of the tour it will continue with rowing back with short break on lonely island Šekovac. Once we have gathered our strength we get back into our kayaks and slowly make our way back. We will meet in front of Plodine supermarket in Ružićeva street (15 minute walk from city center). After we introduce ourselves, we are going to explore the industrial heritage of Rijeka city and spectacular morfology of river Rječina canyon. If you want to feel the soul of the city and explore hidden parts of Rijeka's history, this experience is made for you! Also you will have a chance to make some unforgettable photos. The tour includes historical rewiew of the old paper factory Hartera and magnificent ruins of the Žakalj and Matešić mills date from the 19th century. These places are forgotten monuments of city's rich history and even uknown to locals. Both locations are next to Rječina river, so we can enjoy the panoramic wiews of the canyon in the meantime :) There is 1,30 hour of walking to the mills and back. The trail is well maintained and safe, but you should wear some light trekking shoes (no flip - flops :) After the tour we will return in the city and drink homemade aperitiv at the local iconic pub (the oldest pub in the city of Rijeka - since 1965) to embrace the soul of the city. :)

We would meet in the centar of Rijeka where I will drive you 30 minutes to the starting point of the trail, then we will go to the top called Pećnik, after a short break we will continue to the waterfall Banina where we will explore the waterfall and after we wil head back to the car.

We will meet in Rijeka in front of History Museum known also as the Guverner Palace. After we introduce ourselves to each other we hop into a car and take a 10 minute drive to our destination. The place we will explore is inside of the nearby mountain above the city of Rijeka. The very entrance to the Bunker is hidden by some trees and from afar looks like a forgotten cave of some sort. This is exactly where we are heading - it is an abandoned site, not well known by the general population. We will enter a series of tunnels, rooms and outposts. I will provide you with a simple map of this underground complex so you can see where we are heading. After an hour of exploring or when you start to crave the sunlight we will leave this bunker and enjoy the rest of the tour on a grassy meadow directly above the dark underworld. In the end we will take another 10minute drive back to our meeting point Other things to note Underground is much cooler throughout the year, so take an extra shirt even in summer! Tour is avaliable on a rainy day.

Please contact me before booking your ride!! Our ranch is situated at 400 m above sea level with an amazing view of the Adriatic sea. This route is shorter than others and lasts one hour. A path runs through the forest around our ranch and is the perfect choice for the people who think that they can't endure sitting on the horse for a long period.
