Mid-Century Modern Estate in Vista Las Palmas

Prepare home-cooked feasts in the oversized open-plan kitchen of this sprawling luxury villa. Originally designed by architect Charles DuBois, this storied property offers a saltwater pool with extensive outdoor living space and majestic mountain views. Highlights of the remodel include an oversized open-plan kitchen with walnut cabinetry and 10 ft. island, a custom 10 ft. walnut and concrete wet bar, five luxurious baths with rainfall showers, a saltwater pool, infinity spa, outdoor lounge, and landscaping front and back. Furniture consists of a thoughtfully curated collection of real vintage American mid-century and Danish modern pieces. The vision for this home was to create a rental experience unparalleled in quality, luxury, and that “Palm Springs magic” that excites and invigorates us all. A Lutron automation system controls all the lighting, making it easy to set a scene and control the property with a single button press. A Sonos sound system throughout makes listening a breeze. TVs (including a 70” in the living room and a 65” in the master) are easily controlled with universal remotes and offer Satellite, Apple TV, and a direct in-wall HDMI connection option. There are 5 full baths, so each bedroom may have its own. However, two of the baths (for bedrooms 3 & 4) are located adjacent to the rooms as opposed to inside the room. Bed and bath details are as follows: Master: King bed + sitting area and en-suite bath w/ free-standing tub & rainfall shower Bed 2: King bed + en-suite bath w/ rainfall shower Bed 3: King bed (adjacent to bath w/ tub & rainfall showerhead and close to another bath w/ rainfall shower) Bed 4: Queen bed (adjacent to bath w/ tub & rainfall showerhead and close to another bath w/ rainfall shower) Bed 5: (2) Queen beds with option to create en-suite bath w/ rainfall shower In total, there are 3 King beds and 3 Queen beds. Guests have exclusive access to the entire property. There are no shared common spaces or separate units. One of our concierge staff will meet you on site to check you in and give you a tour of the property. We are available at any time during your stay by phone or text to help out or answer any questions you may have. The prized Vista Las Palmas neighborhood offers unobstructed mountain views and is located less than a mile from the heart of downtown. Restaurants, coffee shops, and galleries are a walk, bike ride, or quick car trip away. OCCUPANCY The maximum number of overnight guests allowed is 10. The maximum number of people who can be on the property during the day is 14. There is no flexibility on these limits, and they cannot be exceeded under any circumstances. BEHAVIOR / NOISE One of the most coveted features of this neighborhood is the quiet relaxation it offers. This is not a party house, and excessive noise or exceeding the number of allowed guests will not be tolerated. Outdoor music at any hour is prohibited by City Ordinance. (This includes playing music indoors with the doors open). A quiet hour of 10pm must be respected. Any noise after this time must not be audible at the property line. A noise violation will result in costly fines, which will be withheld from your security deposit. A second or egregious violation will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of all rental fees. An 11.5% Transient Occupancy Tax is built into the listed rates and remitted to the City of Palm Springs.

TV is equipped with Roku/Netflix/Hulu/Prime. Our villa location can't be beat! It is next to the long blue Paseo fountain - the most beautiful of all fountains within Legacy Villas. Our attention to detail and high standards as hoteliers are evident in the villa's cleanliness and maintenance. Studio can also be rented to our connecting 2-bedroom villa with kitchen (see listing on our profile) to make it a 3-bedroom villa. We have invested in high-end home automation to make your stay more convenient & comfortable - including an Amazon Alexa for voice-controlled music & more. There is cable TV and a google Chromecast device so you can stream shows from your laptop, tablet, or phone. The VERY small kitchenette is essentially an enhanced wet bar. Although it has the basics, it shouldn't be relied upon for regular cooking. Guests will have full access to the villa, including complimentary access to all pools and the on-site fitness center. We're available via phone or text at any time but won't be around during your stay. Nestled into a cove of the Santa Rosa Mountains, the apartment is set in La Quinta within a resort-style neighborhood offering access to shared pools, hot tubs, and a fitness center. Dining, shopping, and golfing are a short drive away. There is an on-site restaurant at the main pool (90 second walk from our villa) that is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am - 2pm, except during summer months.
