Once completed you will be fitted for a beekeeping suit and introduced to all of the equipment you will need to start you own hive! Once the review is complete we will travel to our apiary on site and you will be given a hands on experience in our hives. This session will comprise of how to inspect a beehive, how to properly use beekeeping equipment , and how to spot your queen Bee! Other things to note Once you arrive to our location you will travel down a gravel road. Your blacksmithing adventure will include three hours of hands on instruction as you create your very own masterpiece. Your experience will start with a brief orientation to The Forge at Quiver Full Farm. During this orientation time we will make sure each participant is dressed and prepared with all necessary equipment to have a SAFE forging experience. We will be working with equipment that reach temperatures greater than 1800 degrees Fahrenheit. This experience requires participants to be attentive and be able to physically exert themselves. We will have all participants sign a safety liability waiver before starting. If you are under 18 years of age you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to participate. Jeremy will introduce you to all of the equipment that you will be using while creating your forged piece. He will give detailed and guided instruction on how to use these tools. From there you will choose one of several projects to create. Jeremy will be there to guide you, assist you, and maintain a safe working environment while you create your masterpiece. Other things to note This experience is for adults and children over the age of 14. If you have sensitivities to smoke and heat this may not be the experience for you.

We will spend a leisurely two hours walking around arguably the best birding spot in all of Henderson County. I will introduce you all to the world of birds and bird watching through the many trails of Jackson Park. We will look for whatever birds are around this time of year. It will be a great way to learn common birds of the Southeast and a study of migration and migrating birds if the time of year allows. If you are a more advanced birder I can accommodate you as well.

We will be exploring a couple of the best breweries of Asheville by SUP and kayak on the French Broad! 21&up. We’ll meet you at White Duck Taco where you’ll leave your car and we will shuttle bus you to the starting point. This river is flat and wide, an easy beginner run, winding through the river arts district. Our guides will help you learn to kayak or SUP if you are new to it. It is a scenic and fun way to get to the breweries. Great for groups, solo travelers or couples, because you make friends with your crew throughout the afternoon. We have dry bags for personal items, dress to get wet and still be able to walk a block or two. Our takeouts are riverside banks, not docks, so ability to get out of your boat and walk up a trail is required. A sample or two can be provided at the breweries, but bring your wallet to purchase beer and food.

Be a jeweler for a day by creating your own keepsake hammered sterling silver stacking rings. We'll start off by getting you settled into the studio before teaching you the basics of metalsmithing. We'll cut silver, learn how to solder the rings together with propane torches and then learn how to polish them to make them shiny! Once you learn the basics, you can add textures to make your ring unique, and make two beautiful stacking rings!This is a wonderful experience to bring home a memorable souvenir from your trip to Asheville. Afterwards, feel free to peruse our beautiful gallery and walk around the River Arts District to get get inspired by the over 200 working artists in the warehouses. Your guide is very well experienced and active in the local and state beekeeping community. He is currently the Vice President and Education Director for the local chapter. We will provide the proper personal protection equipment for this day. We ask you wear clothing suitable for a farm, pants, closed toe shoes ect... We have a closed observation hive we will go through first to get you comfortable around bees and what to expect before going into a full hive. Light the smoker and jump on in! This is where we get to see all of the workings of the Colony. We will explain all that is going on and if we are lucky we will spot the queen! Pictures with your new friends! We will provide plenty of opportunities for you to get up close and personal with your new family. Revel in the surrealism Take a moment and be proud of what you have learned, and just how close you have become to one of nature's true miracles. This unique hands-on experience is the best way to learn about the importance of honeybees! We will suit up and open up the hive to see how bees live, work, and produce honey. You will definitely leave with greater knowledge

In our Fluid Painting Workshop you will learn the techniques, tips and tricks of Acrylic Pouring. We will demonstrate the “Dirty Pour, Ribbon Pour, and Swirly Pour” methods. In addition you will learn what colors work best together so you can avoid "muddied" results. All participants will get three 8x10 Canvases to create their unique pours on. No experience is necessary to come in and create your own beautiful paintings! Warning**Please read: Paint Pouring can be very addictive. You’ll have so much fun you will want to do it again & again! Participants will go behind the scenes and learn the art and science behind 6S Brewing Company's craft beer. There will be a guided tasting that will give you the opportunity to sample the breweries' signature beers and seasonal selections.

*Let’s Get Started: This event is designed to give you an in-depth opportunity to submerge into the world of candle making. It is my hope that you will gain knowledge of the candle making process by providing you with a fun, and creative space to create your own candles from the guidance of your candle connoisseur. This experience is one of a kind and I would like to provide you with the best experience. *Pour Session: You will select your desired fragrances from “The Raw Edition Cocktail Menu," which, offers suggested blends that complement each other for a harmonious fragrance, before being led through each step of the candle pouring process. 
You will receive 1- 12 oz ceramic candle vessel, cotton wick, warning label, and all other necessary supplies to make your very own candle. It will take your candles approximately about 45 mins to 1 hour from your pour time to set. *While You Wait: Take some time to listen to a curated playlist, play some games, enjoy a drink/snack, or take in some great conversation. To top it off, take a picture and tag us in it in to let your friends know you just poured HAPPINESS in a glass!

Un-Pony Rides can be a one-time experience for most ages and experience levels, or booked in series as ongoing lessons. Learn to build a partnership with the horses by learning about their body language and their preferred way to interact with humans. Supervised riding, with optional interesting obstacle challenges. Basic riding techniques useable for English and Western horseback riding. (Not a trail ride. You will be taking turns with the same horse) Upon arrival, guests weigh in and are matched with their horse. Farm staff will teach you about horse body language and communication. Staff will assist you with mounting. Speeds are walk only for beginners and jog or trot for more confident riders. Guest will Mix, blend , and create their very own individually designed lipstick or lip gloss! Join our amazing Salty Dog Yoga teacher for an unforgettable evening of yoga, meditation and connection as we honor energy of the full moon. This all levels, slow paced, yoga class and meditation will take place on the Tennessee beach access in Carolina Beach. Just as the tides are effected by the phases of the moon, so are we. Come slow down and move inward!

Please take time to read thru all details before booking. We will meet at front of farm house. We will start at the top of the field walking around our pastures, checking our fences along way enjoying the peacefulness that nature brings and heading into the forest and around the pastures up hills and forest where our highland cows reside. Sharing with you about out breed of cows and what they are known for. We will explore how they interact with each of us their mannerisms and irresistible cuteness. While circling the pastures we have other animals you may interact with that include 5 Scottish highland cows and their calves who were born during the year, our goats and our sweet rescue horse Eli &livestock guardian dogs. We will end our visit at the west pasture sharing treats with the animals and brushing the cows. Other things to note please Wear good closed toe tennis shoes for hike and clothes you may not mind getting dirty, to interact with animals. Hiking stick, jacket if cold, bottle of water. May not be a good fit- Disability or limitation of doing a moderate hike. Families with children 6 or younger message us privately to book we have a tour made specifically for little ones. No dogs please as not all dogs like cows. Weather back up plan-don’t worry we will see cows.. but will replace hike with the historic farmhouse tour listed under our experiences.

(Please note that pricing is per person. Booking costs Start at $25.) Guests will be guided on a walking tour the goat farm, home to 60 goats. We will begin the tour by giving loads of information about goat care and dairy farming. Guests will have the option to play and interact with goats. You’ll definitely want to wear shoes that can stand getting dirty for this part. We will finish the tour with an elaborate tasting of the 10 fresh cheese varieties we make weekly on the farm. We conduct our tours rain or shine. We have spare umbrellas if needed.

I provide an educational tour about alpacas and llamas. You will learn the difference between the two. Why a farmer as myself own alpacas and llamas. I will teach you how I care for my alpacas and much more. Also, you will be able to get up close and personal with the alpacas to take all the photos you would like. I provide the feed. Other farm animals includes a goat, duck, chickens and a Great Pyrenees. There is a hand washing station on-site and farm store.

Available to ALL ages and experiences levels! *260lbs weight limit Prior to your arrival, Nicole will message you and determine what level of experience you have with riding horses. Once you arrive on our property, Nicole and/or Jeff will greet you and already have your horses ready and matched to your level of experience. You will then be led to our riding ring where you will have the opportunity to learn about general horse care and safety. In the riding ring, you will have the opportunity to mount your horse and learn how to steer and control your horse and become comfortable before embarking on the trail ride. Once you are comfortable, you will be guided on a private tour of our 52 acre estate where you will go through woods, open fields, across ridge lines and enjoy being on a horse with breathtaking mountain views. On the ride we will also snap a few complimentary pictures for you to share with friends and family or add to your social media. At the end of your ride, we will help you dismount and you will have the opportunity to love on your horse and snap a few extra last minute selfies.

Herb Walk and Talk, Learn to ID plants at a local forest park ! Join Miles, an herb and plant enthusiast, for an herb walk at a local forest park in Hillsborough, NC. As we stroll through the beautiful forest, we will learn about different local medicinal and edible plants, how to find them, and how to identify them. We can also describe some of the processes of creating medicines from plants, and self healing ! Learn how to meditate by identifying plants and feel the peace ! We will meet 9am at Cates Creek Park. Please write us about other timings or larger groups. Our walk lasts 1 hr. Pants are recommended but not required if you prefer to stay cool in shorts/skirts! This experience is great for those who traveled long hours especially across the ocean or country. It will help to feel more grounded and recover from jet lag quickly. It is also great for stress relief and emotional balance restoration. Or if you want to experience something new and unique and need to connect to your Self on deep level this is for you! We start with a short guided meditation which helps you start to feel comfortable and more relaxed. You will be sitting in chair or laying down on yoga mat whatever is more comfortable for you. Feel free to bring your own yoga mat, but I do have extras. Then you will be surrounded by sound of seven gongs. After few minutes you will enter a meditative state and your own inner experience. The sound of gong penetrates, cleans, invigorates, rejuvenates, and connects you to your soul, your highest infinite self. Discover what will be yours. There will be time after the session to allow you to slowly come back to the present moment and fully awaken.

Our trail is safe for beginners, but dynamic enough that advanced riders will have fun too! Depending on the time of year, we may see the beautiful changing colors of Autumn, or an ensemble of Spring blooms and tons of greenery. There is also a small seasonal waterfall! Upon arrival, we will ask you to complete a Release From Liability form, collect the balance of your payment if owed, give you a brief riding demonstration, help you to mount your horses, adjust your stirrups, and make sure your saddles are tight before the start of each ride. However, there's no need to arrive in advance of your scheduled ride time. ** We ride rain or shine, but we do cancel due to dangerous weather (heavy rain/flooding, lightning, natural disasters, etc.)
