If you ever wanted to explore the real Italy this is for you! We will spend our day exploring three villages in the uncontaminated land of Sabina. We will enjoy the nature, taste local food and take beautiful photos, we are professional photographer and will be taking photos of you throughout the day. The Sabina area is still authentic and unspoilt with breath-taking sceneries wherever you go. It is a magical land of castles, medieval little towns connected by winding country roads, elegant restaurants and family run taverne. NOTE : For transportation we use ONLY LUXURY cars as Audi S6 C7 Avant or Audi A5 B8 Sportback or Mercedes Benz C220 SW AMG. We don't use any kind of bus or any kind of public transportation.

Throughout the years, we have mastered different mosaic techniques, both traditional and modern. That is why you will find the studio full of original tools, sketches by famous Italian artists, and important mosaics masterpieces. The workshop will begin with an introduction to Roman mosaic technique and history. Afterwards, you will practice the principles of texture, composition and marble tile cutting to create your own mosaic to take home. It is fundamental to us to transfer the real techniques of Roman Mosaic craft. Therefore, your mosaic will be correct and based on Ancient mosaic rules. The final result is your own personal mosaic to take home that will be approximately 7” x 5”, weighing 14 oz. A master mosaicist will share important tips, and provide the assistance you need to ensure the best result. This is a full immersion work experience. You are going to work in an authentic mosaic studio and handle specific tools. For safety reasons, we recommend starting this experience from 12 years on.

During this experience you'll be able to immerse yourself in my family long time farm history. It will be my pleasure welcoming you with a cup of coffee before visiting our cellar and garden where we'll pick some vegetables to use for the class. Then we'll jump to the kitchen and put our hands in the dough or, using an Italian expression, "mettere le mani in pasta". I'll explain and provide the ingredients needed, their proportions, the full process and methods included all the tricks and how to use all the necessary tolls. Then we'll prepare the sauce using ingredients from our farm, in particular our organic vegetables. After making the tagliatelle and ravioli , it will be time to make the typical Italian cake 'tiramisù' following the recipe of my great grandma. We are now ready to enjoy a delicious dish of handmade tagliatelle accompanied with a nice glass of our organic wine and finally the amazing tiramisù. This experience also includes a pice of our homemade limoncello. All the food will be prepared and served with our own organic extra virgin olive oil. Surrounded by picturesque ruins we'll visit ancient palaces, temples, tombs, the House of the Vestal Virgins, and the Senate house before finishing the tour at the tomb of Julius Cesare. This tour concludes in the center of Rome's ancient ruins, which are also conveniently located in modern Rome's city center; leaving easy access to local restaurants, cafes, and shopping.
