We absolutely loved this home! Surrounded by stunning nature, it’s full of charm and character—we didn’t want to leave. We booked for a week and spent two entire days just enjoying the house. The design beautifully blends modern comfort with historic charm. It’s stylish, cozy, and incredibly well-equipped—one of the best Airbnb kitchens we’ve seen! We cooked multiple meals and had everything we needed. George was a thoughtful host, leaving fresh fruits, snacks, juice, and a welcome bottle of raki. Bathrooms were clean and stocked; bedrooms had plenty of pillows, blankets, and even slippers—perfect for the cool floors. The outdoor space is a dream. We spent every morning and evening at the dining and pool area. Our dog loved the spacious garden and the friendly local cats. The lush greenery made it feel like home. Note: the road up is narrow and winding—classic Crete. It’s manageable (even with a big SUV), and the hilltop view is totally worth it. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could need. Every little detail—from the fully stocked kitchen to the cozy, welcoming touches—made it feel like a true home away from home. Our host was incredibly welcoming and communicative, providing excellent recommendations and making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The location was ideal—peaceful and relaxing, yet close to great restaurants, shops, and attractions. One of the best parts was the very generous late checkout, which was absolutely perfect since we had a late flight and could relax without rushing—thank you so much for that! We especially loved sitting out on the balcony each morning with a coffee, taking in the view. It was the perfect way to unwind. We would come back in a heartbeat. It has been a pleasure to stay in one of the villas and we were lucky enough to take a swim in the pool in late October. The villa comes with a beautiful view over Plaka Bay and has a well equipped kitchen, lovely interior and an outdoor barbecue place. There are 3 other villas nearby but there is still enough space and privacy to enjoy a fantastic vacation. grocery stores, bakery and restaurants about 10 minutes away…. George was an amazing host, has a lot of advices where to go and responded to all of our questions immediately…..

Villa Myrtia was a beautiful villa that was very spacious for our family of six. Terrific swimming pool. Awesome restaurant called Souvlakia in the town center. George was extremely responsive and very friendly.

“Machil welcomed us with drinks and food, explained everything to us and told us a little about the special features of the place. From the beginning he was very thoughtful and kind. Every day we used the hot tub, and it was always on time. The place is beautiful and very close to Chania. I can only recommend it. Thanks a lot Fabrika Baladakis!”

The place was so amazing, the owner was amazing. The hotel was close to many food spots bars clubs etc. Highly recommend. Great location and beautiful inside . I plan on definitely staying here again

This is an amazing place to stay; close to amazing beaches and other attractions but also very private. Beautiful home in beautiful surroundings make it a must stay when visiting Crete!

Peter is a fantastic host. We highly appreciated the warm welcome and Peter’s guidance. The apartment was fabulous. We highly recommend futur hosts to chose this apartment ! We will definitely come back to Peter’s home if we travel again in Xania.
