Escape to rugged waterfalls & canyons
Our tour will take us through mossy forests and fern beds, across a suspension bridge, floating a hundred feet above Lynn Canyon with stunning views of waterfalls and alongside the river to hidden pools that offer the perfect place for a snack of Salmon and Cedar tea. We begin our journey on the world renown Baden Powell Trail, as we follow its winding path through a forest of towering trees Lynn Creek appears alongside us. This trail will deliver us to the Suspension Bridge giving us the chance to gaze into the canyon below taking in the impressive waterfalls from a bird's eye view. The east side of the creek sits above the canyon in a more mature forest and delivers us to Twin Falls a smaller double waterfall. After a short climb, we return to the Suspension Bridge on route to a river beach to brew a little Cedar tea and nibble on candied salmon. Our journey is approximately 5km in length and includes short steep sections with well made wooden steps. The walk is a beautiful figure 8 loop helping us to capture the magic of the canyon while seeing new terrain throughout. Sunset tours include an increased chance of wildlife sightings such as Bears or Owls. Headlamps are provided. Other things to note Please note that this is a non smoking tour. This is due to fire risk in the canyon. Dogs are welcome on this tour! Leash required.

This lush and stunning rainforest is an absolute specticle with its enormous Coastal Douglas Fir and graceful Cedars trees. This is the best place to expirence the incredible North Shore of Vancouver! Like a scene out of Jurassic Park the ferns and hanging mosses will tickle your senses and leave you awestruck and delighted! If you are looking for something a little more challenging look for my additional Air BnB tours entitled Light house Park,Coastline tour and Spectatular Whyte Lake, Nature Tour. Ice Fishing with a Local Guide
Important: we are a 100% CATCH & RELEASE guiding company. Under no exceptions do we bring home fish to eat. Minimum age requirement of 10 After we pick you up from your Airbnb in Whistler we will head over to one of the stocked lakes in town to catch Rainbow Trout which on average range between 10 & 14 inches in length. I will set up a large portable ice fishing shelter which will have a heater inside to keep you nice and toasty. After drilling a few holes into the ice with my powered Auger, I will have you fishing in no time. If it's a nice day you can move around the lake a lot more. This way, you can take in all the beautiful scenery the area has to offer which includes Whistler and Blackcomb mountain in the background. There is a good chance we will have the lake all to ourselves. It's the perfect getaway when you need a break from skiing and want some quiet time. This is truly a Canadian experience that you must cross off your bucket list. Great for groups, great for teams, and great for team-building.

Hiking with Goats
A guided hike through beautiful lake and mountain scenery, hosted by Pickles and Peanut, French Alpine goat brothers! Their "parents" come too, to ensure you are guided on the less-busy but still human-accessible trails. On the two hour adventure we will: - Meet at Grafton Lake parking area next to Grafton Road. - Start with 10 minutes of intros and "Goat 101" to learn how to safely interact with Peanut and Pickles. - Walk around the lake. - Stop at viewpoints along the way, where we'll offer to take photos of you with the goats. - End back where we started. Private hike options include: - Customized trail route such as up to the lookout in our main photo, or to cool natural tree forts! - Special arrangements for a longer, more challenging hike to the summit of the iconic Mount Gardner. A few considerations: Families as well as dogs on leashes are welcome, but please note that Peanut and Pickles are still growing and their headbutt play behaviour may intimidate children and dogs. You are welcome to request dates, but these will be considered "private hikes". This adventure is "rain or shine"! The boys look adorable in their rain coats, so (pending a major storm) we'll enjoy whatever mother nature brings our way. The boys can't wait to show you their beautiful backyard!

Mushroom Hunting and Foraging
Guests will meet the Host at a central location. This may or may not be at the foraging location. If needed the Host will shuttle guests to the foraged location. Each guest will be outfitted with the proper mushroom foraging tools and given a detailed explanation of what each piece of equipment is used for and how it is to be used. Guests will learn how to identify and recognize a few different species of wild mushrooms and have hands on experience learning about mycology and how to forage for wild mushrooms. Since there are thousands of species of mushrooms and fungi, only safe and edible mushrooms will be collected and learned about during this experience. Guests will spend 60-90min on a guided forage walking through mixed terrain in search of wild mushrooms. Once the experience is finished, the group will ensure we "leave no trace" and return back to the rendezvous where guests can provide feedback and be given the opportunity to purchase dried mushrooms previously foraged locally. (Mushroom Hunting is a very seasonal and temperamental activity, guests should be aware there is a small chance that fresh edible mushrooms may not be discovered during their experience however the Host guarantees that wild edible mushrooms will be integrated into the whole experience as well as a fulfilling learning experience!) Other things to note The guide will provide resources to help identify common edible mushrooms via literature and photos. There's a chance that not every foraging experience will result in edible mushrooms but be prepared to have a full day of learning and experiencing the outdoors!

Equine Facilitated Learning, herd life
Experience Equine Facilitated Wellness. After an introduction on safety, herd hierarchy dynamics, and basic horse body language, we will do some grounding on our way to ‘hang with the herd’. Observing over the fence, or walking in the herd of 5 horses, depending on the confidence of all involved. You may choose a horse, or they may choose you, or I may pair you with an equine partner for further interactions, which could range from just ‘being with you just as you are’ or catching, haltering, grooming, leading, or going through obstacles . Further sessions could address areas in your life which you would like to improve or investigate such as boundaries, leadership, relaxation, confidence-you decide or I can suggest. Horses are wonderful mirrors for us, non judgemental, accepting of our real selves. They help us remember the ‘secret’ to life could be ‘just breathe’. A discussion of your observations and feelings will follow if you desire, and suggestions for creative ways of remembering your horse time, with some creative materials supplied. Other things to note Contact for detailed travel instructions, approximately 35 minutes from the East edge of Calgary.

End Of The World Prepping in Fort Saskatchewan
We begin our class with a brief Q&A from participants, to gauge their knowledge and skill sets (this is completely voluntary and you may choose to simply observe). After we get a feel for the class, we will go over the in-home steps that are necessary to protect you and your loved ones from any intrusions; including (but not limited to) perimeter surveillance and breach prevention, barricading entry points, and post-breach measures. Next we move on to food and water storage. In the event that you are unable to leave your home for long periods; you must have the right nutrition, stored properly, that has a long shelf life. Water collection and purification will also be an important topic of discussion. After we’ve learned how to “bug-in” we will then make our way outside for a “bug-out”. This includes what to do in the event that you are forced to leave the protection of your home, how to find food and fresh water sources, where to find/create suitable shelter, and how to survive the harshest environments. We will touch on subjects such as: - nuclear fallout - martial law - civil unrest - pandemics - drought - famine Feel free to send a message with any inquiries you may have. We hope to see you soon!
