Vacation rentals with breakfast in San Andrés

Tuvimos una corta estancia en San Andrés y hay que destacar que por el impuesto que cobran en la entrada a la isla y los altos precios de todo, trae cuenta estar mas días. Para llegar al lugar se puede tomar el bus público bastante barato o un taxi privado, que puede estar entre 40k y 50k pesos. El lugar donde se encuentra el alojamiento de Rosa es muy tranquilo, alejado del bullicio pero con sitios cerca para comer. Hay que señalar que el desayuno ya no está incluido en el precio, nosotros lo escogimos por eso, que lo habíamos leído en los comentarios, sin embargo Rosa y su esposo son encantadores anfitriones y están dispuestos a ayudar en todo y hasta nos prestaron su cocina, nos llevaron a comprar a las tiendas cercanas y al centro para conocer. Estuvimos muy a gusto y recomendamos el lugar. Para la próxima estaremos más tiempo!!

Schaquira was responsive before and throughout our stay. Breakfast was well-served and delicious: she served us eggs (scrambled with onions and tomatoes), fresh juice, coffee, and mixed fruits daily. The bed was comfy and large (king-sized). The bedroom and bathroom were clean (we’re very allergic, so this is an important point). The water was cold, but we already knew that (it’s so hot on the island - 30°C - that the cold water was actually welcome). She’s making constant renovations and improvements to the place. Accommodations are simple and homey. The location is a little over 30mins to the center by foot, so we recommend renting a motorcycle or a car if you have a longer stay, as cabs will cost anywhere from 15-30K COP each way. We rented a motorcycle for 80K COP/day. The sunsets are beautiful and the walk seemed safe and was pleasant. Finally, Schaquira is extremely nice and accommodating. We were happy with our stay. This place definitely deserves more than a 5 star! When we arrived it was much more than we expected, the house was gorgeous, great location not far from downtown in car, and the ocean view was breathtaking, all the rooms all were properly equipped and the house had an amazing layout making the pool the center of attraction. When we arrived Santiago was waiting for us with some delicious fresh lulo juice and snacks, he was always very responsive and gave us excellent recommendations of activities to do on the island ohh almost forgot to mention breakfast was included and it was always delicious. Me and my family loved our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Definitivamente uno de los mejores lugares donde me he alojado, la calidad humana, el entorno, las instalaciones, el cariño y preocupación de estelita, Jorge y Steven, de verdad que nos fuimos con el corazon hinchado de alegria y cariño de parte de todos...queda pendiente una conversa con Carlos con unas frias para que cuente la historia del lugar, pero eso nos obliga a retornar sin lugar a dudas...dicen que uno siempre vuelve donde fue feliz y fuimos inmensamente felices asi que volveremos amigos!!! 100 de 100

What a lovely place to spend your holidays! The room was very comfortable and every detail was thought of. The whole place was very clean and idyllic! I especially liked the pool area, which was nice to chill at. The hosts were super friendly and accommodating. Would 100% recommend staying at Liz’s place.
