Our stay at Casa da Roseria in Nordeste was a wonderful addition to our 3 week trip on São Miguel. My husband and I loved the quiet village of Nordeste. The homes location allowed us many opportunities to explore this east end of the island and its many hiking trails. Cristiano’s casa made us feel like locals. This stone house maintains so much of its original charm and stunning wood interior. I swear, while in the kitchen, though now cooking on a modern stove, I could hear the banter of the avó and vovǒ (grandma & grandpa) over her wood fired stove! Cristiano was AMAZING at communication before, during and after our stay. Easy check-in and checkout. The house was well stocked with everything for an extended stay. Even a welcoming basket with goodies greeted us. Beds were comfy, towels soft, living room welcoming. The washer & dryer was a real treat for these full time travelers! Thanks Cristiano! See you on our next pass through. We will be back.

Lina was a great host and provided a delicious welcome basket and a beautiful home for our family vacation. She was very accommodating with our early arrival, allowing us to leave our luggage while we waited for the cleaning staff to finish and was also able to provide a late check-out at the end of our stay. The home is in walking distance of all downtown site seeing, and just a few doors down from a restaurant where we had our best meal. I highly recommend this home for all the above reason and more. Thank you again Lina for making our stay a great one.

A estadia na casa do Pedro foi descomplicada. O Pedro sempre esteve à disposição, em curto espaço de tempo, para qualquer pergunta que tivemos. A casa tem uma vista espetacular e a localização é ideal para explorar a ilha inteira (de carro). Recomendado a 100%.

João & Susana are wonderful hosts! Very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The space was beautiful and exactly what we needed. We travelled with our 2 year old and 6 month old baby and they had all everything we needed. Their children even shared their toys with our boys. We loved it so much we extended our stay and tried out another home on their property.

Sitio 100% recomendable, ideal para llegar a cualquier punto de la isla y zona muy tranquila. Acceso a la playa en escasos 100 metros. El alojamiento te da las comodidades necesarias para tener una estancia muy plácida. Agradecidos a María por su atención y cuidado.

SUCH a pleasure! Our family of five stayed at João’s place for 10 days and it still wasn’t enough. Starting with the private terrace with a serene ocean view and lush fruit gardens along the farm grounds, ending with the heart-warming welcome basket that greeted us after our long journey to São Miguel. The hosts were most obliging and Casa Natureza’s location was truly convenient to get around the island. All the amenities were as promised and it was especially handy. Couldn’t recommend this place more! This is a place I would always like to return to. P. S. Special thanks to the dehumidifier that saved us during the more rainy days. Thank you João and family. Thank you for everyone who took care of us and made us feel so welcome.

Ubytovanie ma skvelu polohu, sukromny pozemok s parkoviskom pre kazdy apartman. Ubytovanie bolo pekne, velmi priestranne, presne ako na fotkach. Bazen dokonaly, cisty, starali sa on kazdy den. Vyhlad na ocean boo dokonaly.

The place was as described. Clean and safe. Close to restaurants, gift shops and even an Asian store right on the corner that has EVERYTHING! If you have a car, make sure it's very tiny for on-street parking or find public parking to pay for, until 7 PM, when it's free. No problem at all walking right up to the front door.

This apartment was perfect for visiting this island! The location was very good, the house is very well equipped and Maria and the other co-hosts were very responsive and friendly :) The highlight was the rooftop terrace!!

We really enjoyed Pedro’s place. It was very clean and Pedro was very friendly and helpful. He gave us great suggestions and a bit of history about the island. I would recommend his place to anyone that is visiting Ponta Delgada.

We had a wonderful stay at Eduardo’s place and we felt right at home. It had everything we needed, with grocery stores nearby so we could make breakfast. We also made dinner our last night. Close to restaurants and the thermal springs. Loved seeing the sunset from the upper back deck. We would stay here again!

Rene’s place is very comfortable with a beautiful view and two en suite bedrooms, which was perfect for our needs. It is newly renovated and immaculately clean. Rene’s son welcomed us and recommended several excellent restaurants within walking distance. We loved the central location across from the Lagoa “piscines” (swimming area) and would love to come again in the summer!

Toen we boekten voor de Azorre, hadden we niet in de gaten dat we bij een Dwell Community Working and Living kwamen van jonge digitale nomaden die overal ter wereld een plek zochten om te reizen en te werken. Maar wat hebben wij genoten van de groep die heel gepassioneerd, gedreven, intelligent, leergeerdig en ontzettend positief in het leven staan, waar we heel veel van geleerd hebben, en ongelooflijk veel respect en bewondering voor hun manier van leven. Daarvoor willen we jullie bedanken voor deze geweldige ervaring die jullie ons gegeven hebben.

The accomodation itself offers everything you need, also very clean, and centrally located. Unfortunatelly the street is very noisy and narrow, especially if you have some baggage.

Tudo perfeito como nós foi prometido no ato da reserva. No centro de PDL, excelente para deixar o carro estacionado e ir explorar a zona do centro e outras mais próximas.

The apartment was very nice and clean. Check in was easy and the apartment was well equipped. We appreciated the information booklets that were in the apartment, listing places to see and things to do. Recommended restaurants in the area were also great as well as local shopping. Our only complaint would be that it was not possible to park our vehicle on the street by the apartment, only small cars. We did find parking not far from the apartment.

Muito obrigada pela vossa amabilidade. A vossa casa é maravilhosa. Todo o ambiente delicado e cuidado. O pátio e a pequena varanda com vista para o oceano, sentimo-nos tão em casa em vossa casa. Deambular pela área a pé, ir a mercearia comprar pão e batata doce, ir ao café na praça, ao parque à beira do oceano, é tudo maravilhoso. Ficamos encantados. Esperamos voltar. Muito obrigada por tudo e até breve.

Localizacao excelente e as condioes muito boas

Uma casa muito espaçosa e acolhedora, ótimo para passar férias em família com todas as comodidades!! A casa é muito maior do que aparenta nas fotos, limpa e cuidada! O senhor Manuel é um ótimo anfitrião, muito prestativo, aconselhou-nos bons sítios para ir, deixou-nos muito á vontade, uma experiência a repetir!!

What an incredible spot. Firstly, I want to say how well the communication and instructions went for this rental. Beatriz answered so quickly, was very helpful, and everything was exactly as described. We were just a few short steps to the walkway along the water and beach. We thoroughly enjoyed the space, and took full advantage of the terrace every night. Nelson's home is 7€ by cab from the marina in Ponta Delgada. It has all the amenities one might need, including a drying rack for towels and bathing suits, an ironing board, fully stocked kitchen, and television. The wifi is fast and easily connectable. Our group was very impressed with this choice and would recommend it to anyone visiting São Miguel.

Le logement était parfait, rien à redire. Un peu bizarrement situé. Mais au bout de la rue un peu vers l’ouest commence un très beau trajet de randonnée pédestre. Les gens sont extrêmement gentils sur l’île. Nous n’avons pas rencontré Vasco mais tout s’est très bien passé dans le logement.
