Vacation rentals with a pool in Ponta Delgada

Our stay was perfect for enjoying the peace & serenity of the ocean while still being close enough to explore the island. The house in Maia provided an ideal location—the drive to almost everything within 30 minutes. The island of Sao Miguel is breathtaking! Every area is so different from another, the Nordeste waterfalls, to the hot springs in Furnas, & the craters of Sete Cidades and of course the ocean views from so many outlooks & the best from this airbnb! The Airbnb was exactly as shown in the pictures, well-equipped with everything we needed. Though it was too cold in March to swim in the ocean or the pool, falling asleep to the sound of the waves and enjoying the view of Maia’s lights was magical. One tip: Maia is a quiet town, & during our visit in March, dining out on weekends wasn’t an option—all the restaurants were closed. As advised, shop for groceries on your way. We did and had dinner in 5 out of 6 nights. Sara was the perfect host! We highly recommend Eirinhas!

It’s a beautiful place. We stayed 4 night here and wished we could stay longer. Carolina and her husband are very friendly and proactive. The place is very peaceful, without neighbors, very quiet at night. Nice view from the bedrooms. It’s in the centre of the island and in 30-60 minutes you can reach any place of interest. We didn’t use the pool since we stayed at the beginning of April and it was cold. But we enjoyed the barbecue area, the garden and of course the greenhouses where the pineapples are growing. The kitchen was fully equipped and very clean. So, everything was nice and we can definitely recommend this place to other travelers!

Wir haben Ende Februar fünf tolle Tage in Marias Unterkunft verbracht und hatten eine schöne Zeit. Da es zu dieser Zeit auch etwas kühler (ca. 13°C) werden kann, war es super, dass dicke Decken und auch ein beweglicher Heizkörper vorhanden waren. Die Klimaanlagen können auch zum Heizen genutzt werden. Der Blick und der Garten sind unglaublich schön und Maria hat uns auch Feuerholz zu Verfügung gestellt. Die Kommunikation lief super.

Great place. Beautiful and peaceful. Perfect for a family getaway and a home base to discover the island.

Super logement. Ça change des airbnb pour 6 où vous avez 2 couteaux une chaise pour 6. Il a bien plus en commodités que ce qu'on peut espérer. Ludovic a pensé à tout. L'emplacement est magnifique, vue sur l'océan. Lagoa est en bas au centre donc facile d'aller à Ponta Delgada ou au Nord et à l'Est. Deux conseils pour votre sejour aux Açores, où que vous soyez. Ne vous fiez pas aux prévisions météo, le temps change souvent, surtout en hiver printemps. Regardez dehors pour planifier vos activités. Aussi, si vous avez un sommeil léger, apportez bouchons d'oreilles (ear plug) pour moins entendre les coqs qui aiment chanter à 3h00 du matin. Je vous recommande fortement ce logement si vous êtes 6... ou même moins .

Das Haus und der Garten sind liebevoll gepflegt und wunderschön. Helena+ Felix waren perfekte Gastgeber und haben uns in unseren 3 Wochen Aufenthalt mit selbstgemachte Kuchen, frischen Obst usw. verwöhnt. Gerne würde ich mehr als 5 Punkte vergeben.

Casa Lola was fantasic. The house was great for the 4 of us and the Thermal pool was the best. Having that right outside made it so nice to come back to after a day of adventuring and hiking. Access to the local restaurants was a quick walk anywhere in town. Lola and Roberto were fantastic to deal with throughout our stay by responding quick to the couple of items we asked about as well as Roberto giving great local tidbits of the island, food, and culture. Loved having the house in the middle of the island to be able to get out and drive to iconic locations in less than an hour. One of us had to work for some points in the stay and the wifi was great. No issues with calls or opening files. We got a midstay towel change which was helpful since we spent so much time in the pool and spa as well as out in the canyons and ocean. Can't wait to come back to the house on a future trip and then spend some time on the other islands as well. Thanks for making our spring break perfect!

We had a wonderful stay with our family. The kids loved the pool and the host was extremely welcoming and friendly.

Appartement très bien situé pour visiter l'île et profiter de la plage de sable accessible à 5 minutes à pieds. L'hôte était très réactif et flexible sur l'arrivée, ce qui nous as permis de pouvoir profiter de notre séjour au maximum. Je recommande fortement.

Vi är nöjda med Marianas lägenhet! Mycket tack vare balkongen lyfter lägenheten, den är helt fantastisk! Stor och med fantastisk utsikt! Mysigt också att strand och vattenfall är på gångavstånd. Det kan vara bra för er att veta är att det endast finns ett sovrum (med dubbelsäng) så om ni är fler personer så sover några i en del av vardagsrummet, avskilt med draperi. Mariana har varit tillmötesgående och vänlig i all kontakt. Positivt har också varit hennes tips på vad att se och göra på San Miguel.

Très beau logement bien situé pour ceux qui aiment les endroits tranquilles et typiques. Pour nous, c’était parfait. Si vous aimez le café au lait, je vous recommande le Café central à deux minutes de marches du logement, juste aux abords du parc central.

Excellent location for touring the island with our rental car. Greatly appreciated the lovely welcome basket of snacks and wine! Loved that we could buy extra wine and coffee supplies. Would definitely return!

Todo genial! El alojamiento es una maravilla y súper espacioso. La anfitriona súper atenta y responde de momento si tienes alguna duda. Todo perfecto. Si volviera a ir elegiría de nuevo este sitio sin duda.

Apartamento muito espaçoso, limpo e com todas as comodidades para uma estadia agradável. Facilidade de estacionamento. A Raquel e o marido receberam-nos com muita simpatia, deram-nos dicas para visitar a Ilha e indicaram-nos restaurantes típicos. Foram muito flexíveis quanto ao check-in e check-out. Muito agradável o cestinho de boas-vindas com produtos locais

Gorgeous home with breathtaking views, modern, clean, well kept, well appointed. Laundry a plus. Had eggs and wine available to us at check in! Parking is a little tricky to get through the gate and orient the car so that it is easier to drive out but we figured it out quickly. Great location near airport and restaurants. Luis was very proactive about towels and linens.

Paula’s condo was absolutely perfect, and I did not want to leave! Located in a secure condo complex with locked gates and secure, private parking. The condo itself is a dream; sunny, functional kitchen, three bedrooms with very comfy pillows and mattresses, two large and luxurious bathrooms. We really appreciated having a washer/dryer and dishwasher at our disposal as we travel with two grubby, hungry little boys! There’s a beautiful beach just down the street—very walkable—and a couple of decent restaurants as well. It’s a great jumping-off point for the whole island as it’s very centrally located. I hope we will be back! Paula is a gracious host and we enjoyed meeting her. Also, she has amazing taste in decor—the condo is beautifully styled.
