Significant safety and management issues. When we arrived, the entrance to the chalet was completely icy and not maintained. No salt, sand, or gravel had been applied. One of our cars slid down the slope and got stuck in the shrubbery, with a real risk of damage. We reported the situation immediately, but the response was slow and ineffective. We were offered $150 to have a service provider help move the vehicle, even though the problem was clearly due to a lack of maintenance of the entrance. In the end, we had to contact CAA on our own. We were stuck on the premises. The firewood mentioned in the listing was locked away, with no code provided upon check-in. We had to follow up several times to get access the next day. In short: Dangerous and unsafe entrance, Insufficient maintenance, Slow and not very proactive communication, Attempt to charge for fixing an issue that was the hotel’s responsibility.

Pros: Really nice location and beautiful surroundings. A lot of beds!!! Cons: We felt like the heating wasn’t working on the first floor because the rooms were cold.

Very nice accommodation, but we encountered several challenges. To begin with, they let us know that towing is at our expense, but when a neighbor came by, he let us know that the tow truck wasn’t towing due to the slope. Then, we had access to a hot tub. The hot tub smelled like something toxic! The driveway was an ice rink, and there was no more salt or sand to put on it. We texted the team to find out if it was possible to have them brought to us, and they replied to bring the sledges and crampons. There are no measuring cups either. Then, for the door code, the team didn’t give us the right one; we were stuck outside for about twenty minutes. He wanted a photo of the cottage and a video of us doing the code.
