Family-friendly vacation rentals in Otero County

Our Deer Cabin is a wonderful place to stay while in Ruidoso! Very clean and extremely comfortable accommodations. All three king beds are a dream to sleep on. Playing pool was a huge hit with our son and we all enjoyed relaxing in the private hot tub gazing up at the stars. The cabin was fully stocked and had more than enough things for our stay. It was super convenient to have Albertsons right across the street. We especially loved how very close the cabin is to trails at Cedar Creek Rec area. Beautiful area! We hope to stay again! Marc was a very helpful and friendly host!

Great space good for one person. .

Cozy place in a quiet neighborhood with a hot tub and EV charger. Perfect place to launch adventures out of. Proximity to downtown shops and restaurants is convenient. We enjoyed our time here and would book again.

We loved staying at the River Cabin. We especially liked the location, the hot tub, all the little touches and considerations. The cabin had everything we needed and was quite comfy for our family. We can’t wait to return!

I don't like repeat vacations or staying at the same place, too much to do in life to reoeat....EXCEPT this cabin. Have stayed 3 different times because it's simply a great place for peaceful R&R. Great river and wildlife experience, nice floorplan and amenities, and just remote enough for peace with convenience.

We made last minute reservations because we just wanted to get away. As soon as we walked in the place made us forget all our stress. The retro decor just made us feel in a completely different place. Will definitely return.

We loved staying at this cabin! The cabin's location is like nothing else, secluded and quiet, with absolutely fantastic views. We had a front row seat as a snow storm came in, and while it meant we were stuck inside for awhile, we were in awe just looking out the windows. Everything is impeccable, and we had everything we needed. It's located really nicely close to everything, and a short drive up to winter park or the ski hill. Thank you for such a pleasant stay!

The home was comfortable and clean. Definitely worth the price. We enjoyed our stay.

Estuvimos alojados en el hostal por 3 días y 2 noches toda mi familia eramos alrededor de 23 personas entre niños, adolescentes y adultos, todos encantados con el lugar, en las noches Stephanie nos acomodaba para hacer fogata y pasar una noche agradable, siempre al pendiente y buena comunicación, pasamos un fin de semana muy agradable, el lugar muy bonito y todo igual a como se muestra en las fotos, recomendado

Small and cozy. Perfect for two or three people.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here, the house was more than enough for four guest. There is a nice selection restaurants near by and it is not too far from the road that goes up to Ski Apache. When we were not on the mountain we utilized the deck and patio furniture to just take in the surroundings, we had a few deer come pretty close by while sitting outside one afternoon, there is also a paved walking path right across the street from the house. Overall, I would definitely recommend this location and the hosts to anyone considering staying here.

La cabaña está muy acogedora para pasar tiempo en familia , el vecindario es muy tranquilo y la vista es hermosa sobre todo de los venados , cerca de tiendas y restaurantes me encanto seguramente volveré

Great cabin about 10 minutes from cloudcroft. We really enjoyed the wood stove and the fenced yard.

Kristy’s place felt right at home and exceeded my expectations! Super clean, peaceful neighborhood, and plenty of space to relax after exploring White Sands. Kristy was so friendly and responsive and would certainly stay here again.

I loved this rental. It was in a great location, right between Cloudcroft and Alamogordo which allowed for a good plan to check out things in each town. The outdoor patio was beautiful and even the drive there is great. I also loved the addition of the indoor smores setup, it was a nice touch. Be prepared to have no phone service. I might've missed that information when booking, but I did not expect to be completely out of service! The Wifi was exceptional though, so once that is set up you should be good.

very nice and clean condo. it was a nice getaway and in the middle of town and casino both about a 10 min drive. very nice, quiet neighborhood. would book again.

Perfect spot for a quiet weekend getaway with family or friends. Its my 3rd time staying... Super comfy, equipped with everything you need, beautiful view, super clean and our host Thomas is very responsive and friendly. Highly recommend!
