We (couple and 1 child) had an amazing stay at this beautiful house in Balestrate, Sicily! The property is really cool – the house is spacious and the large garden was a real highlight; it’s the perfect place to relax, with plenty of seating areas and gorgeous landscaping. The pool was fantastic – clean and just the right size for a refreshing dip on hot days. Nino was very welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Andrea è stato un hoste veramente gentile e premuroso. La casa, spaziosa e in un'ottima posizione, si presta perfettamente ad ospitare un gruppo di amici. Stra consigliato!

Wir haben uns in der Villa Sofie rundum wohl und zu Hause gefühlt. Das Anwesen, wie man es fast schon nennen kann, ist großzügig und toll angelegt. Man fühlt sich wie auf einem ursprünglichen italienischen Landsitz. Der Garten und die zwei großen Terrassen mit einzigartigem Blick sind ein Traum. Federico und seine Eltern waren so lieb und bemüht und haben uns sogar kleine Aufmerksamkeiten aus der italienischen Küche als Willkommensgruß dagelassen. Der Kontakt war sehr persönlich und herzlich. Das Haus ist groß und die Zimmer sehr geräumig, es war alles da, was man brauchte. Die Familie hat es geschafft, den Flair des Alten mit den Annehmlichkeiten der Moderne zu kombinieren. Einmalig. Wir waren im März da und aufgrund der noch kühleren Außentemperaturen hat es manchmal etwas gedauert, das Haus warm zu bekommen. Man sollte sich auf jeden Fall dicke Socken für diese Zeit einpacken. Ein Mietauto würden wir sehr empfehlen, da der Ort selber nicht so viel hergibt. Für Ruhesuchende perfekt

The house is half of two attached villas. One for the guests and the host Giacomo lives in the other. The house is located in a gated compound of three villas with an electronic gate and a protected parking space. The house is nice, very clean, new and has everything one needs. There is lovely view to the sea from the upper floor. Having two newly built spotless bathrooms was really great. Giacomo’s two lovely friendly cats are often around for added joy. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short due to unexpected loud construction works in the neighbouring villa, but otherwise we would have very much enjoyed our stay and can recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay in Leonardo’s apartment. We were greeted by Leonardo himself and were showed around the apartment. He explained everything really well and gave a great recommendation for Castellammare del Golfo. The town was beautiful and we really enjoyed our mornings on the sunny balcony. This apartment is a great stay for everyone who wants to explore Sicily like a local and feel right at home. 😊

Alloggio a dir poco incantevole, servizi impeccabili, pulizia, ordine, c’era addirittura la macchinetta del caffè con tanto di capsule. Ci siamo sentiti veramente coccolati. La zona è tranquilla e molto centrale, e in tutto ciò Mazara del Vallo è un sogno. La consigliamo tanto

Wir haben eine schöne Woche mit unseren 3 Kindern (4/7/10) verbracht und können das Haus insgesamt empfehlen. Es war alles wie in der Beschreibung und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war absolut fair. Für Kinder gab es Poolnudeln, Bälle, eine Luftmatraze und Netflix. Wir hätten uns gefreut, wenn wir bei Anreise nicht ein Bett hätten selber beziehen müssten, waren aber für die beiden Wasserflaschen im Kühlschrank dankbar. Leider war es unter der Woche sehr laut, da der Nachbar gerade einen Pool baut und somit ständig Lärm da war. Signora Vita war sehr freundlich und stets bei Fragen verfügbar. Besonders empfehlen möchten wir euch die Bäckerei L'arte de Pane in Menfi sowie die Gelateria Mozart in Castelvetrano. Die nächsten Supermärkte sind ebenfalls in Menfi und ein Auto ist ein Muss. Wichtig ist zu wissen, dass die Bevölkerung hier prinzipiell kein oder kaum Englisch spricht, aber google translator hat hier geholfen. Und unbedingt Autan mitnehmen, die Mücken plagten uns ganztägig!
