Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Lake Victoria

The solar house very quickly became our second home over the 7 months we stayed there. We were beyond thankful for Damian, Anna, and their precious children who were extremely kind, helpful, available and attentive. The solar house is an ideal location for families. Our two young children loved the home and the compound and it was within walking distance of their school. The solar house is a bright and welcoming home - and it has smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detector which are nearly non-existent in Mwanza! We highly recommend this house for short or long term stays. We hope very much to be back! Asante sana Damian, Sam & Ina!

Great stay in Bujagali district! The house was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-located. The 24/7 house security was incredibly kind and helpful, even taking us on a walk to explore the nearby areas along the Nile. The host was very responsive, making communication smooth and easy. As stated in the house description, there were occasional power outages, but the house has its own backup generator, which we were offered to use free of charge. We actually didn’t mind the moments without power—it added a nice touch to the experience. Looking forward to seeing the already planned upgrades, especially the laundry machine. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful house. Great staff! We had a great time. Kathleen was helpful even from abroad and the staff who live on site were well trained. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Kampala or anyone who lives here who is looking for a little staycation.

December 2924 I had a warm and beautiful stay at the Exquisite. It is exquisite indeed! Very spacious, and you have a beautiful view of Lake Victoria. Phelyx has outstanding security measures. Not far from the Airport thus made trips to and from the airport easier since I had to go back Mombasa as well. I felt very safe at the Exquisite. Phelyx and his Caretaker Christiano were very attentive and responded swiftly whenever I needed anything. He has a boda boda guy that can do grocery shopping for you as well. That was very convenient 👍🏾 I miss the fresh mangoes already 😃 Thank you Phelyx and look forward to booking with you again. Happy New Year to you and your family 🎉

It was a great spacious place to stay in a good neighborhood. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. We opted for the chef for breakfast the food and service were great. Would return again someday.

Honestly the spot was great, looks exactly like the pictures and is so cute, The hosts communicated everything i needed to know before hand and made it super easy to check in. The location is also great, close to everything. Highly recommend staying there. Soon back there aswel, thanks so much 🙏

This was my third stay at Rafiki’s apartment. As always, he was very responsive to any questions or needs I had.

Great place superseded my expectations, felt very comfortable, flexible check-in and check-out times. Loved the overall experience and atmosphere, only downside was the WiFi is slow maybe a change of ISP would go a long way. Grateful for the stay and will definitely be coming back.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this delightful AirBnB, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the cleanliness and attention to detail that the host had put into the space. The location is nestled in a quiet neighborhood, making it a perfect retreat after a day of exploring the city. Despite the tranquility, it was remarkably convenient—public transport options were easily accessible, allowing for quick and easy trips into the heart of the city. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lukas place. He always responded kindly to our requests. The apartment is very well equipped. The view from the veranda was the highlight, sunrise with birdsong in the morning! In the afternoon we heard mostly kids playing in the neighbourhood. We would love to come back!

Firstly the host Winnie was very responsive and often checked to see how things are going. The place was beautiful and I enjoyed by 15 nights here. Winnie also allowed me to check out early. The home was well presented, smelled good and security seems good as well. Overall, it was a great stay and I would recommend Winnie to be your next host if you happen to travel to Uganda

Easily accessible, save for the train track that's a challenge to low cars. Helpful staff within the compound as well.

The place was beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was so comfy, and the linens were fresh. The bathroom was also sparkling clean. The room was very quiet, which made for a peaceful and relaxing experience. Overall, I can’t recommend this place enough! It’s a perfect blend of luxury and comfort, and I’ll definitely be returning :).

We enjoyed our stay at Angel’s place. Our kids really enjoyed the playground, check in was easy, and she went above and beyond to communicate with us. Located in a great area, close to restaurants, but also the kitchen is well-equipped if you prefer to dine in.

I love everything about Stalla place. The house was very clean and beautiful we have a very thing we need. And Stalla was extremely responsive and very nice.. The experience in general was amazing and I definitely recommend it to you. ❤️❤️❤️

After our previous stay, this time we stayed even longer. Once again it’s been very pleasant. By and large we can repeat what we wrote in Oct 2023, so please feel free to refer to that one. Obviously a longer stay means there’s more room for problems to occur. While hosts Allan/Joan are always responsive and helpful, sometimes a problem is beyond their control. We’ve had some power, internet, water issues, and the fixes were a bit slow due for the most part to incompetent staff. We like this compound, this unit, and the location, but it helps to know that quite a variety of things can go wrong in this compound and the fix may take longer than you’d expect. Despite that, we consider this unit great value for money, and the majority of our time here was great.

Ashley was great - responsive and very helpful. The apartment was absolutely fantastic: clean, tidy and well equipped. Cleaner came in on my second day which was great. Location is very convenient for Kisementi and Acacia Mall. Easy to get a Boda Boda (recommend via SafeBoda app). Good internet access and great views of the city from the rooftop. The place is also secure with guarded gates 24/7. The area is very safe too. I will be hoping to stay here next time I am in Kampala. Thanks Ashley!

I had a wonderful stay at Aireen's place! The apartment was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-equipped. The location was perfect, with easy access to malls and local transport systems. Aireen was an excellent host, very responsive and welcoming. I highly recommend this place!
