Peace and quiet

Guests say this home is in a quiet area.
Watershed is a private rustic little bunkie overlooking the spring fed pond at Wholearth Farmstudio.
Our hundred acre farm is home to our Percheron draft Horse sisters named Pearl and Sally, assorted chickens, and ducks, and a majestic gaggle of giant Dewlap Toulouse Geese that will likely visit you daily to see how you are enjoying your stay.

Watershed looks over the fields and forest filled with many Ontario species at risk and is a favourite for naturalists and birdwatchers and hikers.

The space
Guests are also welcome to wander the garden, swim safely in the fresh spring fed pond, forage the forest and go bird watching over the hundred acres.

Wholearth Farmstudio's Watershed bunkie is a rustic glamping experience on a 100-acre heritage farm. Meet our Percheron horses or hang loose with a gaggle of Toulouse geese.

The queen sized bed in the bunkie sleeps two comfortably, and we an extra cot for kids is under the bed, with linens in the drawers. Additional guests are welcome to pitch a tent and camp out with you.

We do provide a few basic comforts, but pack like you're going camping.

Please read entire description before booking.

The space

The double doors of the bright Watershed bunkie open up to an eastern hillside view to watch the sun rise from your bed. Have breakfast on the front porch overlooking the pond. Your space is minimally furnished with a Queen sized bed, washing-up dresser, dining table, and a vintage hoosier for your plates and utensils.

Guests are asked to bring their own towels to enjoy swimming and comfortable weekend camping in style. Remember you will be packing out what you pack in, and leave no trace. You may drive your car to the bunkie to unload and pack up, and then return your car to the parking lot (2 min. walk).

Water is provided.

For food preparation there is a long outdoor table, a picnic table for dining al fresco, fire-pit for grilling over an open fire , a propane BBQ, a charcoal BBQ and cast iron cooking pots and pans, utensils provided, as well as a small butane cooktop for quick morning coffee and tea.

Firewood is onsite for $10/bag, billed at checkout.

There is an outdoor sink area for washing your hands and dishes.

A couple of loos with ash and cedar shavings keep it fresh, and the stellar outhouse is stocked with sanitizer and toilet paper.

Guest access
The Bunkie is situated facing south under shady trees, and is designed to feel that you could be in the middle of nowhere as the main farmhouse is out of sight .

You are welcome to inquire about an introduction to the animals if you’d like to spend time with them

Other things to note
Rustic and charming, Watershed was a 5-star Superhost but had tech issues and had to create a new listing.
