Who wouldn't want to vacation in a converted shuttle Bus?! You don't have to be an avid outdoor enthusiast to enjoy what the Bus has to offer. With a mix of off-grid and modern features, this is the best of both worlds. Although limited Wifi is provided, Cell phone service is poor in this area, so it's a great opportunity to UNPLUG!
Couples looking for a cozy retreat, or Singles looking for a much-needed escape will enjoy this unique and charming converted shuttle bus! (Keep in mind that a shuttle bus is not a full-size bus ... it's shorter).
To be candid, this IS NOT a party place! We've lived here for several years, and enjoy it's peace. We strive to provide a safe and peaceful place for our guests (and us) to Relax and Enjoy Nature!
WHAT TO PACK: Food and ice in a cooler. Clothes. You may also want to bring rubber boots or water shoes, sunscreen, insect repellant.
A couple of steps lead up to "Main Street's" front door. Once inside, you'll find that "Main Street" is stocked with just about everything you'll need for a great stay.
Indoors, it has a kitchen/prep area, dining booth, Very large bed, 4-drawer dresser, changing room with sink, ample lighting, some electricity, hot/cold drinking water dispenser, and more!
Outdoors, enjoy the fresh air as you prepare meals in your private outdoor cook space under the Bus awning (propane BBQ and burner). Eat meals at your indoor or outdoor dining area ... the choice is yours!
Relax in private hammocks. Make s’mores at your personal campfire (seating and twinkle lights). Firewood is available on site. Be a kid again ... collect lightening bugs at night!
Although there is not a washroom in "Main Street", a Shared fancy Outhouse is just steps away. Another Shared outhouse is located near the Shore. Both outhouses have sinks and running water (gravity-fed or foot pump). (Stocked with toilet paper, soap, hand sanitizer, paper towel, and other hygiene items).
Have a refreshing shower outdoors with optional forest view (off-grid propane-heated water). Shampoo, towels, etc. provided.
Explore walking paths, sitting areas, and hammocks throughout the property. Play games. Picnic. Read a book. Have a nap. Use our non-motorized boats at our Shore for FREE! (depending on weather conditions).
Enjoy seeing birds, fish, and other animals (including turtles)!

Guests are encouraged to stroll through little walking paths, and enjoy seating areas along the way. Enjoy a morning coffee at the "Field", where there's a table and chairs waiting for you. Yoga mats are also there.
The Shore Road leads to the "Watering Hole", then a 2nd Fancy Outhouse, and ends at our Shore on the Cumberland Bay Stream, where guests will find canoes, kayaks, and life jackets (PFD's).
Enjoy a peaceful paddle on the Cumberland Bay Stream, or picnic at the Shore.

DON'T FORGET TO CHECK THE LITTLE RED MAILBOX AT YOUR RENTAL! If the flag is up, you've got mail!
