The space
Comfortable hotel alternative in a designated Toronto Century Home (1925). This self-contained studio is intentionally designed for your comfort - every element thoughtfully selected to create a cozy retreat that feels both special and functional.
Enter through a private entrance accessed via the laneway alongside the house, and through the back gate. Your lower-level studio is separate from the main home, with shared access to a landscaped, fully-fenced backyard featuring a clover lawn, outdoor dining and lounge seating.
The studio includes a complete kitchen (coffee maker, kettle, French press, fully stocked cookware), 3-piece bathroom with hair dryer and iron, blackout blinds, new energy-efficient windows, and one queen bed.
No surprises, cleaning fees included in the nightly rate.

You're welcome to enjoy the large backyard with an outdoor dining and lounge area. The backyard is shared space - you may occasionally see us, our child, and our 4-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Winnie outside.

Good to know before booking:
Heritage basement with lower ceilings in spots - comfortable for most guests, but may feel cozy if you're over 6'2"
Our friendly 4-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier (Winnie) lives upstairs. If you have severe dog allergies or are uncomfortable around dogs, this may not be the right fit
We live upstairs in a separate, well-soundproofed area. You may hear gentle household sounds 7am-10pm
The backyard is shared space - you may occasionally see us outside
