Welcome to The Highland House, where ocean views and historic charm meet upscale modern comfort.

A labour of love, this 100 year old home has been thoughtfully restored by talented local craftsmen. Step back in time to enjoy antique furniture pieces, original staircase, and original wood plank walls, floors, and mouldings.

Enjoy all the modern amenities one desires including clawfoot soaker tub, custom kitchen, new appliances, and washer dryer!

The space
With both downstairs and upstairs living spaces that overlook the world famous ocean view of Smokey Mountain and Middle Head, there is ample space to play and relax.

Just steps from a sandy beach, the front deck is a perfect spot to watch the fishing boats coming in and out of the wharf while grilling up an evening meal on the BBQ.

Sit around the large fire pit at night and make lasting memories with your loved ones, or sneak off with a good book to get cozy in the upstairs reading nook.

The private driveway can accommodate multiple vehicles. There is a smart lock on the side door entrance for your convenience. We will provide you with a code prior to check in.

Other things to note
There is a hose on the side of the house for guests to wash sand off their feet after the beach. Please also leave beach towels outside to dry :)
