A former Salvation Army Church, The Candlelight Inn is an ideal option for guests exploring the Western Newfoundland area. We're located in Rocky Harbour, a charming town at the heart of Gros Morne National Park.
Our oceanside setting is close to scenic trails, popular restaurants and local artisan shops.
Your stay also comes with a self-serve continental breakfast.

The space
Our property has six guest rooms (four on lower floor; two on upper), each with one Queen-size bed and full ensuite bathroom. There is a shared dining area where guests can help themelves to continental breakfast items and cook using the full kitchen.
There is a small shared lounge space that offers 24/7 coffee, tea and other refreshments as well as a shared laundry nook.
We have a large yard that backs onto an old cemetery and overlooks the scenic harbour. Here, guests can enjoy a communal firepit and a cozy shed for getting out of the elements.
Guest access
Guests can come and go as they please, we will provide a door code in advance of your arrival. The shared dining space is open for use throughout the day. The backyard and kitchen/party shed are also open to all guests. There is a path through the public cemetery that leads down to the water. In-person check-in (with orientation) is between 3-5 pm, and self check-in is available after 5pm.
Other things to note
We have an adopted senior dog, Marky, who lives on premises but he is kept out of the guest area.
