Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Immersed in forest along the shore of the Bonnechere River, New Frontiers offers comfortable three-season camping in our cozy domes. Walk the forest trails, paddle on the river, stare at the stars, and watch the wildlife outside your window. Enjoy nature from the privacy of your own little "domicile".
Your dome is fully equipped with a bathroom, complete with shower and compositing toilet. Climb the ladder to a king-sized loft bed under the stars. Make a fresh breakfast in the kitchenette.

The space
The Bonne Chere includes a kitchenette with a mini fridge. There are appliances such as an induction hotplate, toaster oven, toaster, coffeemaker, and microwave provided. There is a bbq provided on your own private deck. There are plastic bins provided that we encourage you to store your food in. The dome is located in the woods and we don't want to encourage any wildlife to come in for a visit!
Please note that the water from the sink is from a drilled well and is not tested or treated. We provide a Brita filter to assist with the mineral flavour of the water. Please consider bringing your own drinking water. There is a grocery store in Eganville, about a 10 minute drive, where you would also be able to purchase drinking water.
The king sized bed is a loft with a ladder leading to it, where you can sleep under the stars. The double bed is a futon that you can pull out. We have a comforter and pillows for the futon, provided in a bin in the dome.
The bathroom provides a shower, sink, and composting toilet. Instructions for the composting toilet are provided on site.
The dome is located deep in a forest and next to a river. You can expect there to be mosquitos, deer flies, and other bugs and woodland life. Please come prepared with appropriate clothing and bug spray.
The dome has it's own dock overlooking the river, but swimming is located at the beach.
There are other accommodations located on the property and so some spaces such as the beach, trails, basketball court and others are shared spaces.
