This is not your typical cottage! We aren't on acres of secluded forest or directly on the water (we don't have that kind of dough) but this bungalow won't disappoint!
We offer 1100 sqft of cute and cozy getaway! I like to think of it as the front of a mullet! We are the more serious section ahead of party central Grand Bend, the back end! Still accessible to the party, only 15 minutes away, but perfect for a quieter, low key retreat with 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom! And we have a hot tub!
The space
I could wax poetic about the beauty and serenity and blah blah blah but I don't want to bore you to tears. It's pretty, it's peaceful and it gets you away from the rat race and drudgery of home in the city. We are not a luxury, grey and tan hotel, but we do have our charm! And we are in the country so yes, there may be a bug or two and yes, you may not be able to take 2 hour long hot showers under a cascading rain shower head but you left all that in the city, why do you want it here? You come here for quiet, peace and relaxation, especially in the hot tub (PLEASE DO NOT GO IN FULLY CLOTHED) or by the fire. And yes, you gotta drive at least 10 minutes to Lake Huron but you drove at least an hour to get here so is 10 minutes that bad??
NB: We are country so we use septic. Please don't be flushing anything but waste and toilet paper! A septic system can be sensitive and is super expensive to repair/replace and we cannot afford that!

Like Ontario, this bungalow is Yours to Discover! You aren't sharing the space during your stay but we do have neighbours! So please no ragers, loud tomfoolery or yodelling, especially at night! My fragile nerves cannot handle neighbours calling in the middle of the night to yell at me and the municipality will shut us down! Please see boring but important information below...

Whether you are an outdoor adventurer, food enthusiast, adrenaline junkie, or simply looking for a place to kick back and relax, you will find the perfect activity here. As a short-term rental host, we take pride in welcoming and accommodating visitors in our community. To help ensure you have a successful stay, all guests must review and understand this code of conduct prior to their stay. Address of the Short-Term Rental: Short-Term Rental Licence Number:
1. Residential Area The Premises that you are staying in is a home. Always respect our neighbours and ensure there is no excessive noise or disturbances at any time.
2. Capacity Limits and Maximum Number of Persons on the Premises In accordance with the Municipality of Lambton Shores Short-Term Rental Licensing By-Law, the maximum occupancy of the Premises cannot exceed: Persons. The maximum occupancy does not include Persons under the age of 13.
3. Municipal By-Laws All guests must always respect and adhere to Municipal by-laws. This includes, but not limited to, by-laws related to noise, open air burning, and fireworks.
4. Parking All guests must familiarize themselves with the Parking Management Plan for the Premises and ensure all vehicles are parked in accordance with the location and limits within it. There are parking spaces available on the Premises. Vehicles must be parked within the provided on-site parking spaces (i.e., no parking on grass/lawn).
5. Garbage and Recycling All guests must familiarize themselves with the locations for the storage and/or disposal of garbage and recycling, while always ensuring the Premises are always clear of trash and litter. As a reminder, the designated storage area for garbage and recycling is located: Garbage/recycling is collected on the of each week. Garbage/ recycling cannot be placed by the road before 5:00 p.m. the evening before collection.
6. Fire Safety All guests must review the Plan for Fire Safety associated with the Premises and familiarize themselves with the locations of exits and fire extinguisher(s). Most importantly, we hope you enjoy your stay and have the chance to actively participate in our community and discover everything Lambton Shores has to offer. As your host, we encourage you to reach out at any time so we can help your visit be the best it can be.

HOT TUB RULES:
For your safety and enjoyment as well as our peace, please make sure to:
- Not jump or dive into the hot tub (actually happened!).
- Not have any food, glass, soaps, oils or bodily fluid in the hot tub.
- Supervise children around the hot tub.
- Replace hot tub cover after each use and not sit on hot tub cover (use cover lifter, please don't drag the expensive cover right off!).
- Turn off jets and lights after use.
And most important of all…relax, decompress and enjoy your stay!
