Welcome to Sea Escape, a cozy and bright 2-3 bedroom upstairs accommodation with direct sea views of Ketch Harbor and the Atlantic ocean.
Situated on the Sambro Loop, it is ideal for easy access to the famous Crystal Crescent beaches, Duncan's Cove trails and downtown Halifax.
The perfect place to wake up to the ocean views every morning, fall asleep to the soothing sounds of ocean waves, and explore the many trails and beaches the area has to offer.

The space
Sea Escape is a lovely and bright private 2-3 bedroom apartment located on a peaceful, private, no through lane/road, just yards from the quiet harbor, waterfront and community dock. Here you can launch your own watercraft and toys or take your morning coffee down to the dock and watch the beautiful sunrises here in the harbor.

Sea Escape is set over two floors with the main bathroom and shower located on the first floor. Upstairs has 2-3 bedrooms (one queen bed room,one queen bedroom with additional twin bed, and a twin/day bed in the lounge area) with an additional toilet and basin. The main bedroom has direct sea views of the Atlantic ocean and Harbor. The second bedroom has views over the garden and a partial sea view. There is a well equipped kitchen/ dining area with a lounge/seating area which makes up the third bedroom.

The property is set on 1 acre of land. There are several areas in the garden for your enjoyment (although some areas may be shared) You will find ample free parking, with a large, graveled parking lot, (which can accommodate a trailer or an RV upon request). There is a fire pit, BBQ, and large gardens with perfect views for relaxing anytime of year. We provide garden loungers and chairs and if you need more please just ask!

Guest access
Access is via the private entrance-YELLOW door, that will be signposted upon arrival. It is located next to your car parking spaces. There is a keypad entry system.

Complimentary high-speed internet is provided, as are towels and all bed linen.

Other things to note
Hosts live on site and are available should you require anything to make your stay more enjoyable.

Sea Escape is on a well and septic system. During the hot summer months we would respectfully ask that you be mindful and conserve water where possible.

Complimentary use of Kyacks are for guests who stay 3 nights or longer. (Subject to weather and availability)

Complimentary use of Laundry facilities are available for guests who stay a min of 5 nights or longer and subject to availability. This may be restricted in dry periods

Neighbourhood highlights

Ketch Harbour is a quaint cove that comes alive with water activity in the warmer months because of its safe waters and easy to access community dock. A 20-minute scenic drive will take you to downtown Halifax, Bayer’s Lake shopping area or the Long Lake Provincial Park. In the opposite direction, via the fishing boats landing their catch (and the most amazing take out-Mishoos) the renowned Crystal Crescent Beach which has a hiking trail along the diverse coastline. Herring Cove Provincial Park Reserve and the Trail to Rail are also within a short distance.

Sea Escape offers the best of both worlds-the excitement of the city and the tranquility of nature and the beauty of Nova Scotia. (40 minutes from the airport too)

Sea Escape is located on a peaceful, private, no through lane/road, just yards from the Harbour and community dock. Here you can launch your own watercraft and toys. There is ample free parking, with a large, graveled parking lot, which can accommodate a trailer or an RV. There is a fire pit available and a garden with perfect views for relaxing in the evenings anytime of year.
Sea Escape has stairs and therefore not suitable for toddlers. However, we can provide a stairgate if requested.
