For groups who don't want to compromise, this is it. The Compound combines two complete, modern oceanfront homes — The Left and The Right — into a single exclusive booking. Six queen bedrooms. Four private bathrooms. Two hot tubs. Two full kitchens. Two wood stoves. One spectacular stretch of Nova Scotia coastline, entirely yours.

The space
The Left and The Right sit side by side on the water in Hunts Point, on Nova Scotia's stunning South Shore. Each is a fully self-contained 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home — modern, bright, and thoughtfully equipped. Guests can spread out across both homes or come together on the shared oceanfront for meals, hot tubbing, and watching the stars come out over the Atlantic.
Combined, the property sleeps up to 12 guests comfortably across six queen beds, with additional couch sleeping available.
The outdoors
Two private hot tubs — one per unit — both with direct ocean views. The activity shed is stocked with 2 stand-up paddleboards, 2 bikes, and 2 sets of snowshoes. The ocean is right at your doorstep. Surf the breaks at Western Head, paddle the coves, or just plant yourself on the deck with a drink and let the sound of the waves do the rest.
The location
Western Head is one of the quietest, most beautiful communities on the South Shore — lobster boats, open water, and almost no traffic. White Point Beach Resort is 18 minutes away for a meal out. Carter's Beach and Summerville Beach are a short drive. Liverpool is 10 minutes for groceries and amazing dining. Halifax is under 2 hours.

Please note: Booking The Compound reserves both The Left and The Right in their entirety. Each home has its own entrance, kitchen, bathrooms, and hot tub. Groups can choose to keep some separation between units or treat the full property as one shared space.
There is a nearby path leading down to a rocky beach with ocean access, perfect for exploring the shoreline and taking in the coastal scenery. Please note that the area can be uneven and slippery at times, so guests are encouraged to use caution when accessing the beach.
