⚠️ Accessibility Note: This unique treehouse features two levels connected by an interior trapdoor ladder. Guests should be comfortable climbing a ladder, as access between levels from inside the treehouse requires ladder use. The lower level can also be accessed through a separate exterior entrance.

The upper level features a warm and inviting 110-square-foot open-concept space, designed to maximize comfort in a charming setting.
Here you’ll find:
• A combined living and sleeping area
• Two cozy loft sleeping spaces with single beds
• A comfortable double bed with convenient storage underneath
• Fresh bed linens and bedding provided for all sleeping areas. You are welcome to bring an extra blanket or sleeping bag if visiting during very cold winter nights.
• A small dining table with seating for two (2 extra chairs located under the bed if needed)
⚠️Please Note: The main sleeping area is located on the upper level of the treehouse. The lower level, which contains the kitchenette, composting toilet, and sink, can be accessed either by an interior trapdoor ladder or by exiting the upper level and using the exterior entrance. Guests choosing to remain inside the treehouse will need to use the ladder to access the lower level, including during the night. This unique treehouse design may not be suitable for individuals with mobility limitations, balance concerns, or anyone uncomfortable climbing ladders. Children should be supervised at all times around the ladder and trapdoor opening.
The treehouse comfortably accommodates 2 adults and 2 children, making it perfect for couples or small families seeking a memorable escape.

The kitchen includes cookware, dishes, utensils, and a bottled potable water system for cooking. An additional large jug of drinking water is also provided.
For longer stays, we recommend bringing a cooler for extra food storage.

• Seasonal shower available mid-April through October (weather permitting). Please confirm availability with the host prior to your stay.
The lower level can be accessed via the interior ladder or through a convenient exterior door.
A brand-new detached outhouse is located just steps away, and guests are encouraged to use it whenever possible.

The treehouse is designed to stay cozy and comfortable in all seasons.
The upper level is heated with an electric panel heater that keeps the space warm and inviting.
The lower level is heated using a propane heater. Guests may adjust the temperature as needed, however we kindly ask that the propane heater not be turned off to ensure proper operation and comfort.

For added comfort during the warmer summer months, a small window air conditioning unit has been installed in the main upper-level living/sleeping area to help keep the space cool. The surrounding forest canopy, shade, and multiple windows also help maintain a comfortable indoor temperature naturally.
⚡ Off-Grid Living Note
Due to limited electrical capacity, we kindly ask guests to use only one high-power appliance at a time (for example, turning off the electric heater when using the kettle or toaster). Please note that the treehouse does not have traditional running water. A bottled potable water system with a small tap is provided for handwashing and cooking, along with extra drinking water for your convenience.

Guest access
Guests will park in a designated private parking space at the main house. From there, a short scenic 5-minute walk up a gentle hill leads you to the treehouse, offering a peaceful transition into the quiet beauty of the surrounding forest.
In winter, the trail is carefully packed and maintained for comfortable walking. For added convenience, we are happy to provide snowmobile or ATV transport for your luggage when conditions allow. Please notify your host prior to arrival if you would like assistance so arrangements can be made.
We recommend bringing weather-appropriate footwear so you can fully enjoy the experience in every season.

The treehouse is located on a private 13-acre forested property, perched atop a small hill and surrounded by nature. Guests are welcome to enjoy full access to the surrounding property during their stay, including several peaceful walking trails that are ideal for hiking, sightseeing, birdwatching, wildlife viewing, photography, or simply enjoying the tranquility of the forest.

The hosts live on-site and are available to provide assistance promptly if needed, while still respecting your privacy throughout your stay.
We are conveniently located approximately 15 minutes from North Bay and 7 minutes from Callander, where you can access beautiful Lake Nipissing. Lake Nosbonsing is also just 7 minutes away. Public snowmobile trails, a local convenience store, and the LCBO are all located within a short 3-minute drive.
