Retreat to the loft for a restful night on the queen memory foam mattress, and draw the curtains for added privacy in larger groups. Alternatively, cozy up on the queen memory foam bed within the pullout couch in front of the big screen.

Prepare meals in the fully equipped, brand-new kitchen featuring a full-sized fridge and a versatile convection oven capable of air frying, toasting, baking, roasting, dehydrating, and more. Four burners are at your disposal, with an additional hot plate stored below.

The bathroom is stocked with essentials, and our on-demand hot water heater ensures unlimited hot water in seconds.

Enjoy various entertainment options, including jigsaw puzzles, games, toys, and streaming services on both TVs for those rainy days. Additional board games are available upon request. An ideal space for creative projects or focused work with high-speed internet and a dedicated workspace.

Neighbourhood highlights

Nestled in the Beach Estates, take a forest trail leading from behind the cabin to the Shawnigan Athletic Park and playground. We are a short walk to the Shawnigan Lake private school grounds and endless nature trails. A mushroom lover's paradise in the fall, and many animals to see year-round. Deer often sleep next to the cabin in the warmer months. We have a blue heron that likes to fish in our Koi pond, as well as rabbits, quail, lizards, and once in a while, a friendly bear may even walk through the neighborhood.
Just 4 minutes from Mason Beach Park and The Black Swan Pub/Liquor Store. Shawnigan Village is only 5 minutes away, with various restaurants, a cafe, gas station, and more. Even closer is the beautiful Lakehouse Restaurant within a 2-minute drive or a 20-minute walk. They have a stunning view of the lake and fantastic food and beverage menus.
Don't forget to prebook at our neighbouring NYÜBU spa for the full retreat experience and enjoy their sauna and cold plunge circuit. They offer both community sessions for $30 or private rentals. They have become very popular, so be sure to book in advance.
