With expansive views to the east overlooking Drew Harbour, Rebecca Spit, Cortes Island and BC's stunning coastal mountains, this spacious, private one bedroom suite has the amenities you'll need for a restful getaway on beautiful Quadra Island.
You'll be close to the beautiful Rebecca Spit Provincial Park - a tranquil walk any time of year, with salt water on three sides. You're a short walk to a grocery, gift and coffee shops and the renowned HBI. Easy access to wilderness activities.
The space
Private one-bedroom suite will all amenities, parking within a few steps to the private entrance.
Quadra Island is an outdoor haven - paddling, hiking, golfing on a beautiful course (and mini golf!), beachcombing, mountain and road biking all await.
The suite features a spacious living-dining area with comfortable seating. 50" TV for when the ocean view out the window onto Rebecca Spit fades into the dark.
The night sky is spectacular, with little to no light pollution, viewing the stars or astrophotography.
Outdoor deck and patio with a view over the water, to watch the sunrise, alpenglow affect sunsets, or the starry starry night. A pair of eagles nest nearby. Propane barbecue for year round grilling. There's also two portable lawn chairs you're welcome to use at the beach.
Comfortable queen size bed with extra blankets in closet. Organic wool duvet, mattress cover and pillow covers for a deep sleep.
Fully outfitted kitchen with all the basics to cook your favourite gourmet meal (or a microwave for the quick and cheerful).
Full sized tub with shower, soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Towels. Hair dryer and vanity mirror, and beach towels for trips to the many swim spots.
Individual in-wall heating units to augment central heating if needed. Central air conditioning for those warm summer days, and opening windows with screens for fresh air.
Guest access
Access to the suite is to the left of the garage and down a gentle flight of stairs through a west coast mossy woodland. Entrance door is at the back of the home on the first level overlooking the water.
Parking available close to the top of the stairs.

Quadra Island is a rugged yet welcoming destination in British Columbia's Discovery Islands, known for its vibrant arts community, rich Indigenous heritage, and extensive trail networks.
We built our home here as a place of sanctuary and tranquility. We feel the energy and calm as soon as we board the ferry. The ocean, Rebecca Spit and the coastal mountains as seen from any major room in the suite soothes the soul.
The backyard is a work in progress with a greenhouse and raised beds to be installed this summer.
July and August - 3 night minimum. Other months, 2 nights.
