Merlin's View cottage is in the heart of PEI’s picturesque Green Gables Shore. Located in Oyster Bed Bridge with easy access to Charlottetown, Cavendish, North Rustico, Brackley Beach and all that PEI has to offer.

This delightful & private cottage has water views overlooking the Wheatley River. Offering the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and natural beauty. Whether you’re seeking a family getaway or a peaceful retreat, Merlin’s View has it all.

The space
Merlin’s View is a perfect location to relax and unwind whether you’re watching the sun rise, watching the birds or gazing up at the stars. The cottage’s central location makes it ideal to visit many of the parks, attractions, golf courses and beaches that PEI has to offer. Bird watchers will enjoy the opportunity to see eagles, merlins, blue jays, and many others.

The large primary bedroom is bright and has a sliding glass door that offers a water view. The room features a comfortable queen bed with laundry in the room. The smaller second bedroom boasts a bunk bed (full-size bottom bunk and twin top bunk). The separate bunkie offers a third bedroom featuring a double bed and a half bath.

Relax in the spacious family room with large windows framing the water view. The sofa offers another sleeping space with a queen size pull out. The sunroom has a fantastic water view and is perfect for sipping morning coffee, enjoying family meals or reading a good book.

Two decks beckon you outdoors. The river-facing deck is ideal for barbecues and al fresco dining. The front deck with its retractable shade allows you to enjoy both sun and shade without leaving the comfortable seating area.

The cottage is named for the family of merlins that visited us one summer, though it’s a magical place, so sure, we can say it’s also named after the wizard.

Please note, this is a smoke free property.
