Lake Taureau is home to one of the largest bodies of water near Montreal. This vast reservoir, marked by the fascinating history of the village submerged during the construction of the dam nearly 100 years ago, covers an area of 95 km² and offers nearly 270 kilometers of shoreline.
In summer, its 45 islands, numerous bays, and long fine sandy beaches make it a prime vacation destination. Outdoor enthusiasts will find an ideal environment for water sports, camping, and hiking. With more than 32 kilometers of sandy shoreline, the lake offers perfect conditions for swimming and boating.

We cannot be held responsible for power outages. A generator is installed on-site to ensure comfort in case of a power cut.
If the generator starts, please turn it off for the night. This helps limit propane consumption and ensures a quiet environment for everyone.

Cell network coverage is weak in the area, but don't worry: Wi-Fi is available and allows you to make calls by activating the Wi-Fi calling function on your phone before arriving. SNOW REMOVAL:
Our parking lot is maintained by a snow removal company to ensure a pleasant welcome. As Lanaudière is a region with abundant snowfall, you may need to shovel a little upon arrival or departure. Don't worry, shovels are available to help you. Thank you for your understanding and enjoy your stay with us!

Just steps from the chalet, a small, peaceful beach awaits you. Please help maintain the cleanliness and tranquility of the area; noisy gatherings are prohibited out of respect for the neighbors.
Access to the private beach is by foot only. All motorized vehicles (cars, ATVs, motorcycles, etc.) are prohibited.
