A quiet getaway for a weekend or a short stay. Enjoy peaceful surroundings, an authentic log cabin experience, and beautiful views. King-sized bedroom, full bathroom, full kitchen, and a deck overlooking Cowan Pond. The cabin is 25 minutes from Kamloops and Logan Lake, and a short drive to the day use area at Lac Le Jeune Provincial Park. Swimming, hiking and mountain biking in the summer; cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter.

The space
Guests will have a fully self-contained unit, which is one side of a duplex in a log cabin. There is a shared deck overlooking the pond. This cabin has a king bedroom and a cozy sitting area with a sectional sofa that is also a sofa bed for two. Fully equipped kitchen with all the basics for making your own meals, full fridge with freezer, and smart tv with multiple streaming services. Starlink satellite internet. Good cell service in the area. Free parking for up to 2 vehicles. Ask about our yoga space :)

Parking is right outside the cabin. We are close to the highway and easy to find.

Other things to note
There is an unfinished loft area which is used for storage by owners. No access for guests.

We strongly recommend that guests purchase trip cancellation/interruption insurance. Travel can be affected by weather, wildfire smoke, road conditions, illness, and other unforeseen events. Unless the property is subject to an Evacuation Alert/Order or becomes unavailable or unsafe to occupy, our standard cancellation policy applies. When possible, we’re happy to work with guests to reschedule their stay to another available date.

There are two shared fire pits on site. Please note any campfire restrictions or bans and bring your own firewood.

Lac Le Jeune Provincial Park is right down the road. Swimming, fishing and picnic facilities in the summer. Snowshoeing and cross country skiing in the winter.

Visit Leftfield Cidery in the summer for a refreshing local beverage. About a 20-30 min drive.

Kamloops is the nearest city, but Merritt is close by as well.

Our lovely log cabin near Lac Le Jeune is our family's nature getaway. When we're not using it, we would like others to enjoy this wonderful place. We are almost empty nesters who like to travel when we can... relax by a pool, explore new places, see the sights, and have fun! Occasionally, we travel with our adult kids or with friends.
